Chapter 10: Ponyville - part 2.

"The next one is... Decorations!" Said Spike as he read through the list that Starfall handed over to him.
As they walked into the Town Hall, Twilight smiled.
"This appears to be going without a hitch. We should be done with this part in no time." She said looking at the beautifully decorated building.
Starfall suddenly had a thought on whether it would change anything if Spike we're not to meet Rarity now, would that change anything about his crush?
He decided that it was not really something that important, so he could afford himself a bit experimentation. He told Spike and Phoebe to wait for them outside and play tag or something as they will be quick. The dragon and Phoenix duo just shrugged and decided to look around for something interesting to do.
Starfall followed Twilight who already went inside the Town Hall and came by a scene of Twilight being dragged by Rarity through the doors on the other side of the Hall...
'Whoops... guess he'll have to go after them... Should he call for the other two?' Starfall turned around but the duo was already gone so he decided to write a note telling spike and Phoebe where to go when they return. he stuck it to the entrance and run towards the direction in which he saw the two mares going...
He soon found the Carousel Boutique as it was really hard to miss and entered inside.
"Just a minute!" He heard from the backroom.
A few seconds later a beautiful white mare with purple hair appeared from the backdoor and smiled at him pleasantly.
"Welcome to Carousel Boutique! What can I help you with today Mister...?" Said Rarity clearly curious of the identity of the handsome Stallion in front of her.
Starfall decided to have some fun with this Mare. He reached out to the memories of his lessons in culture and good manners and activated his Prince charming aura...
"It's Prince Starfall Blueblood Milady." He bowed to Rarity.
"May I know the name of the owner of such a beautiful mane. I couldn't help but be ensnared by its beauty, I have to say that purple is honestly my favourite colour of all so gazing at your person fills me with happiness." He said as he approached the shocked Rarity. She had a hard time breathing as she realized his words and he could see that if she could speak properly, she would most likely say something about her heart not being ready. In the end, she only managed to whisper her name, so Starfall smiled and said..
"A name befitting of such a rare and unparalleled beauty. I'm honored to meet you Miss Rarity." He kissed her hoof like a true gentleman...and Rarity fainted...
He quickly moved a nearby couch under the falling mare catching her safely, and left her there to rest.
He turned to the backroom where he could still see the magic of Twilight whenever he activated his Mage Sight.
He knocked on the door and he heard a voice from the other side.
"Rarity? How long do I have to wear this towel?"
"It's me Twilight! How are you doing?!" He called Through the door.
"Starfall? It's you? Where's Rarity?" She asked back.
"She'll be back in a few minutes. Hang on on whatever you are doing until then. I still have something to do. so give me a second." He replied.
"Alright! I'll wait!" She called back and Starfall returned to the unconscious unicorn.
He stirred her lightly with his hoof and she started to regain her consciousness.
"Wha- I had such an amazing..." Her eyes opened wide in shock as she saw the gently smiling prince, standing right beside her as she lied on her 'fainting couch'.
"Good morning Sleeping Beauty. Have you had a good nap?" He asked...and Rarity fainted again.
Starfall thought that it was the most fun he had since Twilight took him on a trip to Las Pegasus.
Well...maybe he was exaggerating but it was certainly a lot of fun teasing Rarity into fainting...
A minute later she was once again stirring into consciousness, and this time as he gritted her she didn't faint. Well...he could always say something about kissing a beauty awake to make her faint again but he thought that was enough for one day.
"Welcome back Miss Rarity. As you are already back in the world of the leaving, may I burden you with the reason for my arrival?" He said with a smile And the sitting Rarity quickly replied.
"Yes! Of course! I'm sorry for my previous behavior! Would you like a cup of tea?" She asked and Starfall only chuckled lightly.
"It's quiet alright. I'm not going to stay for long. I actually wanted to ask you a question." He said and Rarity's heart started to beat faster.
"Are you perhaps the person who kidnapped my companion from the Town Hall?" He said and Rarity's mind went blank as she once again fainted...

'Oh sweet Celestia, that was hilarious.' Thought Starfall trying to suppress his laughter as he saw the Unicorn lying on the couch unconscious for the third time this day. She slowly sat up and felt someone's hoof touching her cheek.
"Miss Rarity. This is already the third time this day. Are you sure you aren't sick? Should I take you to the Hospital?" He said and Rarity felt her cheeks burning as she felt the gentle touch of the Handsome Stallion.
Then she remembered his question and realized that she still had another pony that needed her attention.
"Twilight! Were you perhaps referring to her?! Oh Sweet Celestia! I totally forgot about her! Please come with me! She's in the back room!" Rarity exclaimed and run towards the room where Starfall had his previous conversation with his companion.
They entered the room only to find Twilight laying on a chair with a towel over her mane and pickles on her eyes. Those were really big pickles...
"Darling! There you are! Why didn't you tell me that you came with a prince!" She said as she removed the towel and the pickeld from twilight using magic and started brushing her mane to achieve the normal hairstyle.
"There you are Twilight. You wouldn't believe how amused I was, when I saw this pretty Lady stealing you away from me right in front of my eyes." He joked making Twilight giggle.
"Well, Yes. She wanted to help me with that terrible hairstyle that Rainbow Dash treated me with. Where are the others?" She asked while Rarity was looking between the two ponies as if she saw aliens.
"I told them to wait outside before your kidnapping but when I tried to call them back they were already out exploring the city so I left them a note." He replied casually.
Rarity finally had enough so she asked what was on her mind.
"Could someone explain to me what is going on? Are you really a prince? Then if that's true then who are you Twilight Darling?" She asked, confused because of how casual Starfall behaved suddenly.
Starfall though laughed seeing the confusion of the Mare.
"I'm sorry dear Rarity. Yes I am really Prince Blueblood, but I might have acted a bit over the top when seeing how you reacted to my teasing. To my defense, your reactions were utterly adorable and hilarious and I was completely honest with my opinion of your beauty. I'd be really happy if we were to become friends." He said to the flabbergasted Rarity. She blushed realizing how embarrassing she must have been behaving and smiled realizing that this prince felt much nicer in reality than what she always dreamed off.
The real deal was polite, but had a sense of humor and felt easy to talk to. When comparing it with their previous interaction where he acted exactly like in all of her fantasies, she understood that she preferred this nice and casual prince to the overly polite one. Her heart involuntarily started to beat faster as she saw him smiling at her.
suddenly there was a voice from the side.
"Now I am confused... What are you two talking about?" Said Twilight looking at the duo weirdly.
Starfall snorted.
"I'll tell you later. You're going to have a blast hahaha!" He laughed and Rarity gave him an angry yet amused look.
"Don't you dare!" She said and everyone laughed.
Suddenly the doors burst open as a little white filly dashed into the room.
"Sister! Sister! I met a dragon and a Phoenix today! They are so cool! Especially that dragon! I - Oh hello there! My name is Sweetie Bell!" Exclaimed the little filly all in one breath.
"Huh guess the two are still alright then. And Hello to you too little one. My name is Starfall Blueblood and this is Twilight Sparkle. As it turns out, the Dragon and Phoenix duo are our companions, so if you want to see them you can always visit the Library later as we will be staying there for a while." He explained while ruffling her mane playfully.
Sweetie Bell smiled brightly and thanked Starfall before dashing up the stairs.
"Alright, I think that we should also be going as we still have a number of things to take care of regarding the Celebration. It was really nice to meet you Rarity. I hope we can meet again." Said Starfall and for the last time kissed her hoof at which she giggle pleasantly.
"I also thank you Rarity for your help with my mane. I know you wanted to do makeovers but we just don't have enough time today so let's set it aside for another day. See you later!" Said Twilight and Rarity also said her own goodbyes, after which the two unicorns were back on the road looking for the next point on the list.
It was a good thing that they had a copy as Spike left together with the original...
