Chapter 15: Daily life - 12
*Emperor – Meng Tian (POV)*
I ordered the Lu Qian army to surround and prison the rebel soldiers. For the queen – Lu Zhi, her other sons and daughters who are now waiting with her for the news of the emperor's defeat. Knowing that I ordered the shadow guards to bring them, I don't want to reveal the shadow guards but waiting for the soldiers will waste a lot of time.

I don't know whether she truly burned the entire or not. I also verified that some people built a temple for her in the southern mountain parts of India.
Remembering this story, I don't even want to compare the queen with that great lady. One who devoted her life to a husband even if he once abandoned her for another woman and got justice, and revenge for him. While my queen is trying to poison her husband for her greed for power and lost herself in arrogance. But I will not shed a tear for her who betrayed my trust for her, even though when her father was my enemy, I thought of her as my wife.
Queen, prince and other princess were begging to let them live. But I never even looked at them. Queen had a huge arrogance, pride and hoped for his father's arrival but she was killed, not knowing her father and eldest son are already dead.
That day the entire Meng dynasty was in a panic because everywhere was soldiers patrolling. While blood flowed on the home of the corrupted officials.
The next day there was calm after a big clean-up. New military service rules are announced. Officials who are responsible for the infrastructure of the national building have announced and established a new way of building bathroom. Huge money was taken from the imperial treasury for the implementation of the development project across the Meng dynasty. While new materials called cement was largely produced in control of the imperial palace and formula will be the royal secret to the Meng dynasty. Thus, the imperial government got a new source of income by selling cement at a limited rate to control the price of cement.
While the people were worried about the slaughter happened, the news about the emperor cleaning the corrupt officials spread across the nation made people happy while it also included a fear in people's heart.
Here, started the day for the coming wonderful years for the dynasty.
Time skip ~ 1 year
*Emperor concubine – Li BingBing (POV)*
When woke up I saw my trusted servant standing there for my morning preparation. Then, I prepared for the morning walk which was a new rule implemented by the emperor for the imperial harem for a healthy and energetic body. First, when he implemented it, I thought it was a punishment but later when I found the changes in my body after a month of morning walk, I was surprised. Because before I will be felt tired and bored. But now I feel energetic and a lot of energy.
I also felt happy when I went to use the newly built modern toilet in the imperial harem. It was not smelly anymore, it looked even luxurious than palace rooms and I can get water directly through things called pipes and taps. I heard the emperor is even planning to introduced called body wash and shampoos, which are very fragrant. Because of the opinion of flavour, we concubines also got some samples produced in the imperial industry for getting opinions.
Author's Note: Shampoos are already used in the Indian continent during this timeline. But not widely spread. So, no change in the place that discovered shampoos.
I still have some remaining. While I don't know what my son's 5th and 9th prince were doing now.
They are forced to attend compulsory military training for two years, especially for royals. I haven't seen them for almost a year. I don't know whether they had lost weight. I heard that they will get one week of leave after one year of service and I can see them 1 week later.
I haven't had a good conversation after the slaughter last year, he maintained a certain distance from all the other concubines, prince and princesses. But he is showing favour to 4-year-old 10th prince, maybe because of the child has lost his mother during his birth he gets special attention.
I also came to know that the 10th prince got friendlier with that silent child Victor. Everyone knows the emperor favour that child Victor likes his own son. The child even calls the emperor "Uncle emperor". It was all found by the maids in the palace.

Authors Note: I have crossed 15,000 words. Sorry, my last chapter was small. I wanted to enter the ranking. So, I created the 9 chapters in one day. But when I was typing the last chapter, it was already midnight and break the rule of going to sleep before midnight. In fear, I uploaded it last night to complete the 15,000 words plan. The next chapter is about a child so… be careful. I give hint.
