Chapter 3: Chapter 3:A new life

"mhmm...", Zhang Jiayi is mumbling in his sleep. The water clashing sounds in the river woke him up.
He slowly opened his eyelids and used his hands to prevent sunlight. 'Ah..my eyes are too sensitive to sunlight. I need to adapt to sunlight soon', thought Zhang Jiayi.
'I need to check my body', Zhang Jiayi checked his dantian.
'What the hell is this?, There is a vortex in my datian!', exclaimed Zhang Jiayi.
'I need to check my body now', he started to check his body and he let out a sight.

"I need to wash my face and take a good bath", he said and started removing his clothes and slowly submerged into water. The water is not too cold and not too hot.

'Lets see, What is my cultivation level..', He checked his cultivation and shocked.

He checked his body cultivation and soul cultivation. This time he did not get shocked but he got excited.
His body cultivation has reached low layer Soul forming realm and his soul cultivation has reached low layer mortal soul real.
He thought of a possibility, 'What if my Devourer ability can increase my cultivation and talents?'. He started to experiment.
He caught a fish and use devour ability on the fish. He sensed a very tiny increase in his soul cultivation and qi cultivation. His eyes twinkled with excitement.
He suddenly clutched his head with his hand. A new set of memories entered him. 'The memories should belong to fish right?', he thought of a possibility
'Memories belong to their own soul. So if I absorbed the soul I should get a part of their memories', to check his theory he caught few fished and tested on them.
'The hell, I can even see a part of their memories.So cool..', he exclaimed in his mind.
"I need to increase my cultivation level to 1st level of Foundation realm before getting out of forest. The universe is very vast and dangerous and it follows the rule 'survival of the fittest'. Here 'strong preys the weak'. I need to survive in this cruel universe. In order to survive I need to increase my cultivation first. If anyone stops my way being strong I will devour them without mercy. After all I'm not a saint to help everyone, I'm evil kill everyone who blocks my way to the top. I will be evil very evil even the dao should fear me", he said with a evil glint in his eyes.
'Hais, because of those experiments and those bastards researchers my personality is twisted to the core. Well I have no problem with my twisted personalty. I will not try to change my personality', he thought with a grin his face.
'Time to increase my cultivation',he started to devour the fishes in the river.' Devouring feeling is very great', he smiled.
Few hours later...
"Whew.., I absorbed almost all the fishes in this river area. I reached bottleneck in my cultivation. Just a little push I need to reach the Foundation realm", after saying that he sat cross legged and started to cultivate.
He guided his qi to his dantian where his bottleneck is by his 12 meridians. A bottleneck is like a small thin sheet of paper. 'Dont underestimate the book by it's cover'. The thin sheet of paper is very strong and very hard to break the bottleneck.
He just pushed the qi to break the bottleneck. His vortex seemed to be revolving fast and released devour qi and combined with the qi. When the combined qi touch the bottleneck, the bottle neck is absorbed the qi.
*BANG*
"sssss...", he sucked in cold air. He reached 1st level of Foundation realm. He overjoyed.
He started to pack up to leave this forest.
"Wait for me..", he grinned in an evil manner.
