She was completely blank and left dumbfounded standing near the bin scrumpling the piece of paper left by the man. Neither did she hear voices from the phone nor did she think of the incident. Only silent tears which is filled with pain and agony rolled down her cheeks.
"Hello, Kinga are you there. Hello,.....". She could barely hear as if voices in a fading memory . She lifted her right hand up to her cheek and pinched it hard. Only then did she realise it was real. It was not a nightmare that she expected it to be.
" Hello...". She heard it loud and clear. A chilly blood ran through her spine arousing her nerves. Returning to her sense, "hello Doctor. What's the matter". She cleared her choked voice and replied hastily.
"You have to come over here quickly without delay". The voice she heard was full of tense. Her heartbeat escalated. Without looking back she scurried out of spa massage room.
" Kinga where are you going. Director is calling you". Sonam shouted from behind upon seeing Kinga rushing towards the main exit. Sonam was the only close friend of Kinga. She knew every bits about Kinga and they never fail to share even a deepest secret. They had been more than siblings for almost a decade.
"Sonam, I am going to hospital". Kinga immediately turned and left. Sonam felt the turmoil inside of Kinga. And she felt pity for her friend.
She turned around and the blood stain on the bed sheet shocked Sonam out of her wits. 'that might be the reason not her mother' Sonam thought. She smiled and cleaned the room.
Outside the building Kinga hurriedly halted the taxi and asked the driver to reach her hospital while a monstrous man she faced earlier was quietly sat in his white Creta observing Kinga. He frowned as he saw a worried face of Kinga. 'Is she going for a virginity test', he giggled. 'She seems to be interesting, should I spy on her', he thought while igniting the engine.
Along the way worried face never left her pretty face. She hurriedly threw taxi fare and without bargaining she vanished inside the hospital. ' Hey madam, your change". Taxi driver turned only to see Kinga fading inside hospital. "okay let me give you later". He murmured and drove away.
She rushed over. ' mommy, mommy, mommy ,,,please stay'...she prayed. She didn't care whether people inside the hospital are looking at her direction or not. Only thing she thought was her poor mother. Indeed she had to challenge the pain that happened earlier but it seemed nothing at all. That pain dissolved, not completely but for a moment.
She reached at the door of the ward. Perspiring all over and breathing too heavily. She saw a group of nurses and doctors surrounding her mother.
"Mom..... " She cried to the highest pitch. Everyone inside the ward turned flabbergasted.
