Chapter 18: Warnings for the Princess

I scowled at the man who called himself Elliot for creating this absurd situation. He clicked with his bare hands, and the earth transformed into a massive maze.
"What will happen if my conscience shifted?"
I fixed him with a stare.
"What will happen, eh? Nothing will be going to happen. You'll just feel better, that's all. But since we had a deal. I won't be going to send you back home. Better hold on to yourself. Alright?"
I'm not sure if he cares about me or if he just enjoys ruining my life.
I turned on the ground as I breathe heavily. "How can I be sure that you won't turn back to your words as the Will did to me. I suppose you aren't lying about freeing me back to my world." I turned to him just to see his confident gaze towards me.
He then marked his face with a grin. "I'm not going to lie. Unlike that Will, I am a Deity. My remarks are clearer than his." I've had a trust problem since that Will duped me.
I sighed, "You better not lying or I will wreck your face!" I yelled at him because of frustration.
"...Eh… You know, a Princess shouldn't utter such obnoxious things."
That is irrelevant to me.
When I took a look at the massive plant labyrinth, however, he builds a light post. It wasn't enough to lighten my path sufficiently. I've already entered the maze's entrance. I was staring at nothing in particular.
Knite is yet to arrive. I'm curious where he is now. Despite the fact that I am his Master, he will be unable to defend me.
"What the world. Who am I fooling? He's with me because he wants to protect me, right?" I mumbled to myself. But I will be glad if he goes to protect me; I don't have any idea what lies inside this maze created by that Deity.
Still, I can't just trust him. I shouldn't put my faith in anyone in this environment.
"Princess? We're not going to be here forever, are we?"
He is annoying. This Elliot guy, why is he in a hurry when I'm having a brief moment before I enter. Don't he have a knowledge that what I'm doing is a ritual?
"I'm gonna enter." I eventually chose to enter the maze, and I sounded obstinate.
When I entered the maze, the maze's entryway closed itself. In any case, I wouldn't be shocked. The creatures here like playing pranks on me. I didn't flinch or even try to turn around.
I moved my gaze forward, unconcerned.
"I just want to get out of here without shifting out." That's what he meant when he said I only needed to get out of here without losing conscience. All I have to do now is keep myself from losing it.
That's a piece of cake. Do they believe I'm not capable of doing anything like that? They may be underestimating my abilities as soon as I reach the first checkpoint. Three paths led nowhere.
I began peering inside, but it was pitch black. This is a complicated labyrinth. I'm not even sure how I'm going to get out of here. I completely forgot about the most crucial aspect of this labyrinth.
"If I don't have any clue on which path will be able to take me in the exit. Then does it mean that guy tricked me from the start?" I let out a frustrated sigh. He pulled a trick on me; how could this be?
"Ah! How dare you do this to me! I swore when I got out here. I will pull that lying mouth of yours even if you are a Deity!" I yelled once again in a fury. I'm sure he can hear me perfectly because he built this maze.
Anyways. It's time to move on. I have to pick a passage, and I don't want to stay here in this spot for too long.
"I don't know which passage I should take." I locked my gaze on them for a few moments.
Aha! I'll sing a song with my hand, and when it stops, that'll be the road I'll go. I exhaled a huge sigh of relief and began singing while pointing my finger along each path.
"Are you going to Scarborough Fair?
Parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme
Remember me to one who lives there.
She once was a true love of mine…."
My hand came to a halt in the midst of the walkway. So, without further do, I entered in the middle path one.
Just like what I've thought. I walk straight to the middle pathway. When I entered there, the path was again sealed.
I took a little peek at it to make sure, and I was right. But what bothers me was the bright, harsh light behind me. When I glanced in the direction, I saw something unusual. There was a massive fire, and there is also a kingdom.
I could hear cries coming from nowhere.
"Father!"
And with a blink of an eye. I found myself before my Father, who is the ruler of the Luan Guo. Is this an illusion? This is not real, is it? Why is everything on fire? I can feel the scorching heat through my flesh.
"Ahaha! Father, you say? How dare you to call my Father as your Father!"
"That voice. Who is it?"
When I followed the source of the voice behind me, I noticed a blonde female with silver eyes staring at me.
You've been stealing everything from me since we were kids. But all will come to an end today! You're going to die here. Scarlet Fuschia Vi Leiheighne. You who stole my title and my power. Please, Father, kill her publicly by hanging."
What is this girl talking about? I have no idea who she is, and she refers to my Father as her Father. My thoughts are bursting at the seams. I don't grasp anything. This isn't the actual world, but it feels like it.
I was torn when the next scene I saw frightened me to death. My neck is knotted and warped. There were a lot of people watching.
"W...what is this?" My mouth was gaping wide.
"Kill the witch!"
"In our nation, she is a horrible omen! Assassinate her!" Through my ears, I can hear everyone's hostility. Is this still an illusion?
I'm feeling assaulted.
The blonde girl stood in front of me. "How does it feel to be universally despised?"
She murmured in my direction.
"Don't be concerned. I shall handle everything for the sake of our adored Father. You have fun in the depths of hell."
I'm going to be hang!
"Father!" I disregarded the girl's remarks and turned to face my Father, who was sitting on the royal throne.
But he didn't even flinch when I called for him. My eyes were enlarged, "Why…?"
