"Now Mal, tell us. How did you find out the stone was missing. What did you go to the vaults to do?" Kahlan asked while staring at Mal accusingly.

"What the hell are you talking about Kahlan? Are you accusing me?" Mal asked, annoyed.

"Hold on. Nobody's accusing anybody. Kahlan is only trying to find out what you saw. It could help us." I said in attempt to pacify the tension between Kahlan and Mal. "Mal, I don't mean it the wrong way but please, kindly tell us what happened, what did you see, what led you to the vaults?"
