Chapter 3: Chapter 3: Dark Force Convergence

As the sun began to set, everyone was having a great time. Another of Harris's friends, named Quason, came in. He was a bit taller than Harris, and due to the mutation of the tree pod he was in, he was slimmed down to a bit leaner shape, while retaining his brown sugar like skin color. His hair went a bit long in the back, and was completely black, save for a small red spot near his forehead. His eyes were an ocean blue, and he had a white cap with horns on the front. He wore a black long coat with long sleeves, a fake fur scarf around his neck, an armor plating around his chest and covered it with a ripped orange tank top. His pants were black with blue combat boots, and he had a long katana radiating a purplish light, with a smaller one just underneath it. He was always the life of the party, and was always the main one to make everyone laugh.

"So one time me and Harris were playing a fighting game, I'm over here just enjoying the free combos. Then all of a sudden he just gets the drop on me and suddenly I can't block or move. And he's just wailing on me with what's essentially fat sentient bubblegum."

Quason joked, and everyone laughed because it was true. Taro didn't really understand it since he's never played certain fighting games. Or any that were really any good.

"Okay, well I remember Tasha and me were playing Kingdom Hearts 3, it was real fun. But then she made a joke about Yoruza. Called him Yorusora."

Harris and Tasha laughed at it since they were the main ones who knew about Kingdom Hearts lore. Just then, another friend came in named Gabriel. He was a French teen who knew Quason longer than Harris, and both were thick as thieves. Gabriel was a little short but it was hardly noticeable, and had long red hair with wolf ears on top. He was a Roman Catholic, and as such he dressed in a Priest Battle Outfit, which had black pants with slight heeled shoes, a specialized coat that has a holy protective spell over it, and a bottle of holy water at all times to be used as a whip like weapon. His eyes were a crimson red, and he was better at Thaumaturgy and Alchemy due to being taught by a wise priest who was one of the original teachers of magick.

"Hope you didn't start the party without me. Hell, I barely get to start it anyway."

Everyone laughed and put on a movie to watch. It was a classic Disney film, Lion King, and very well loved. Eventually everyone headed out to go to sleep, leaving Harris to pick up the small mess that was left. Usually just a few cups and a candy wrapper. Taro looked around wondering where he was going to sleep, and Harris allowed him to sleep in his room, but he had to change out of his work clothes. He went into his room, and Taro sneakily took a peek inside, and what he saw was very odd. Harris was completely in his boxers, and despite his muscles, he had a very androgynous body type, and his hair didn't change length despite the bun coming out. He also looked for his clothes, but saw nothing but an Imp-like devil floating around, and then going in a bird cage to sleep. Harris stretched a bit, showing off every inch of his body. The way it slightly curved, and the way he slightly blushes looking at his behind made Taro's heart race. Eventually Taro stopped looking and pretended not to notice, ignoring the tent rising in his pants.

"Taro, you can come in now. I finished changing."

Harris called him in, and Taro slowly entered the room to see Harris in pajama shorts and no shirt. He felt the blood rush to his face, barely able to speak. But Harris broke the silence after getting into bed.

"Well, come on. Unless you want to sleep standing up like that."

He joked as Taro got into bed. Suddenly he felt Harris spooning him softly while drifting off to sleep, which only made Taro feel dizzy from his hormones going into overdrive. But that feeling was short lived when he saw a dark shadow look at him with menacing eyes. He used telepathy so Harris wouldn't wake up.

"Listen you, get out of here. I....I know where my priorities lie but...just go. I don't need to be harassed."

He thought silently. The shadow was confused, wondering why Taro was so hesitant. It got to the ceiling, and was about to stab Harris with shadow spikes. Taro deflected the attack with an unspoken incantation, which somehow didn't wake Harris from his sleep.

"Leave. Now. Go before I destroy you, puppet."

The shadow had a angry yet confused look on his face, and silently retreated away. Taro looked in worry and gently rubbed Harris's hand with his own. He noticed it was a bit bigger than his normal human one.

"Harris, I'm sorry. I'm...I'm a terrible person. I hope you hate me so I don't hurt you anymore than I am now."

He silently said before drifting off to sleep as well.
