Chapter 33: 33. Shopping
It's been a month since Alex started his training with the Logs. He hasn't gotten anywhere close to getting a feel of Haki hut he is growing more proficient with his ears in sensing.
In the previous month, he had 5 lessons with Gimli and even had a spar with him. He has learnt a fair amount in Axe handling but his style doesn't seem to fit him as smoothly.
He tried to learn the style but he feels uncomfortable with it. He just can't practice it the right way. Guess, he doesn't have any destiny with it. *Nods Sagely while caressing imaginary beard*
He is going to start his Lessons with Merlin's friends after the competition as well. He is looking forward to it. He doesn't know who they are but they are definitely from one of the fictional works.
Still, practicing with Gimli did provide Alex with some basic skills and combat experience and he is quite thankful for that.
He doesn't have the heart to cancel his lessons with Gimli. They have bonded quite well in this past month or so.
So he decided to continue taking lessons as long as this year goes. It won't be long and he gets a free sparring partner. So he has no complains anyway.
Plus, he gets to make connections with a Tier 4 powerhouse. Any bit of help is appreciated when it really matters in the future. So, he is okay with continuing to this.
He was currently in the Training Yard. He got inside and motioned the maid that came along with him. As soon as he motioned, the machine started and logs came swinging at him.
He used the swishing sound of the logs to dodge some of them but still got hit by the others. He was improving slowly but surely. He might be able to get a feel of the Haki by the end of 5th-6th month.
After mastering this, he will have to block his ears as well to develop the other senses more. Once all his senses are fully developed, he will be able to start on his Haki.
'I've been at it for a while. I have to go and buy a teddy for Hinata and also give her the kiss I promised. I might have to buy more of them or otherwise, I will have a pandemonium on my hands'.
Alex thought as he stroked his chin. The maid on the side was squealing in her mind when she saw Alex's cute display.
Alex's relationship with Saeko is also coming along very good. They have spars every other day and he has lost a few of them. But he never let them burden him and just trained more.
The other girls also started to follow him to the Dojo. It's become one of their hotspots. They can train while having fun with each other.
"I am going to play!" Alex shouted and ran out of the mansion. He didn't plan to go and play. He was going to get some Plushies and dolls or accessories for the girls.
'Gotta use my Dad's sneaky techniques'. Alex joked about it first but became depressed when he thought about his real parents. Shaking his head, he snapped out of it and just opted to get out of the villa area without getting noticed or he could always go out with an excuse.
'But let me see if there are any stores in this district'. He had gotten out of the area when he was just 3 years old. The guard was actually sleeping on duty. And he had the permission to get in and out villa area without needing to verify with AI operating the security.
He smoothly got in and out at that time but he was scolded heavily by his three mothers. He opted to just stay inside, since wasn't very safe at that time for him either.
He went towards the commercial area in the High end district and looked around for a good store. Where he could potentially buy what he needs.
"Um, Sister, can you tell where the toy store is?" Alex looked at a teenage girl as he caught the hem of her dress and asked.
"Hmm, what are you doing here alone. Where are your parents?" The girl didn't answer the question but asked worriedly.
"I'm just here to play. I live near here but it is my first time in this area". Alex replied with a cute smile.
'Aaah, so cute'. "It's just around that corner. You can go there". The girl pointed with a smile and continued on with her ice cream.
"Thank you". Alex thanked her politely and continued on his way.
'Now what to buy for them? Hinata would love a plushie modelled after me but I can't stomach that somehow. So a cute Panda would do for her.
Alice would definitely like a toy gun, some toy claws for Ye Lian. A book for Robin but it has to be a good one. A brand new Bokken for Saeko and some crystal earrings for the other girl.
That should be enough for gifts. It is so tedious when you have to buy these things tho'. Alex thought as he went towards the toy store. He could buy some things from there but he will have to buy the rest from somewhere else.
He got to the store and walked inside without even looking around. There was a beautiful girl standing behind the counter with a red dress and crystal heels on her feet.
(A/N: I so wanted to go the chinese route and say Jade white feet but leave it.)
"Excuse me". Alex called from below the counter as he looked up at her.
"Welcome sir, what can we do for you?" The girl asked politely without changing her expression. A lot of rich kids come to this store usually and when they throw tantrums, the store clerks get in trouble. So she didn't want that to happen with her.
"I want you to show me some teddies and guns please". Alex asked cutely as he looked at the girl with a smile.
"Please, follow me this way". The girl joined her hands in front and led Alex towards another area.
"These are our collection of teddies. Please choose the one you like". The girl showed him to a corner full of plushies. There was every kind there, from Unicorns to bears. You name, you get it.
Alex looked around and saw a big panda plushie there. He pointed at it and said- "I will take that one and that one". Alex also wanted one for himself. A man also needs some cute stuff to relieve his stress. It can't always be done by sex.
The girl looked at it and started to feel happy inside as those plushies were quite expensive and cost a lot of money. She couldn't afford it with even 10 years of her salary. It is more than hundred thousand credits per plushie. She will get a good bonus from it.
"Right away, Young Master". The girl bowed and signalled a worker to pack the teddies. Then she led Alex towards another area. This was where they kept high end gun toys. All of them were made of metals and were quite expensive.
