Chapter 54: 54. Match
Alex distanced himself from her after the kiss and hosted the Axe on his shoulder. Scathach looked a little as she missed the warmth that she was feeling in his embrace.
She shook her head as she snapped herself out of her daze and took a stance with her spear. She was ready to have a serious to match to gauge Alex's progress after he had trained under her for so long.
Little did she know that he had just gotten the full experience of one of the most powerful beings in Seven Deadly Sins.
"We won't use our powers and fight on equal grounds with just our weapons. Are you ready?" Alex explained the rules as he asked. He was practically winning the bet on both sides of the spectrum but he still took this opportunity of the match against Scathach seriously.
He held the axe upward vertically in front of him and prepared to intercept Scathach's violent advance like always.
Scathach dashed at Alex with her spear parallel to her in a ready to attack stance. Alex prepared his axe as he tightened his hand on the grip in anticipation.
Scathach swept the spear at his face like a snake in a ripple like fashion that was harder to intercept. Alex's newly found experience kicked in and he used the axe to deflect her spear.
The experience was just in his brain and not muscle memory. So his response was slower than it should've been.
Scathach just rotated along the spear and swept it towards Alex's feet. Alex quickly jumped hut Scathach used a vertical swipe to catch him midair.
Alex used the axe as he clashed the blade of his axe with the blade of her spear.
He felt the vibrations of the clash but since they were both using the same amount of power. It didn't do much damage to his hands.
Both of them clashed for a couple more rounds in a similar fashion but Alex was getting tired faster than Scathach as he wasn't using his ability.
Scathach thrusted her spear as Alex tilted his head to dodge the blade but was was smacked in the face by the shaft as she just rotated it at the last moment.
Alex spit some saliva out of his mouth and swung his Axe at Scathach. Who used her spear to deflect the blade of the Axe.
'This isn't getting anywhere and I am just accumulating injuries'. Alex thought about his body ghat was full of bruises and cuts from the repeated clashes with Scathach.
On the other hand, Scathach's clothes were also in tatters but there weren't as many injuries on her body as Alex. That was because Alex had the experience but he had to make it his own and this fight was helping him with that.
Scathach was also a bit astonished as she felt that Alex was making rapid progress today in his handling of the Axe.
He was good with the weapon but it wasn't at the level to start giving her, the amount of trouble he was giving now.
Alex suddenly closed the distance between the both of them as he was literally glued to her body and struck her with a punch.
Scathach skilfully caved her stomach to minimise the damage and swept his legs in turn. Alex used the axe to stop her kick and delivered a strike with his full power.
Scathach used the shaft of spear and tilted it slightly upon impact to make Alex's Axe's blade slide off the shaft.
Immediately after she put the blade on his neck. Signifying the end of the match and Alex's defeat. This was only because he hasn't fully made the experience his muscle memory or the outcome could've been anything.
"Good improvement". Scathach said as she praised Alex's improvement in Axe wielding.
"Thanks". Alex replies cheekily as he rubbed the back of his head.
Suddenly, Alex grabbed Scathach's hand as he hugged her waist and delivered a powerful kiss to her lips.
"Mmm, the salty sweat makes the kiss even more tasty". Alex licked his lips after kissing Scathach and taking advantage of her.
Scathach tried to break out of Alex's embrace albeit reluctantly after the kiss was finished. She was feeling slightly embarrassed from being sweaty.
"Where do you think you're going?" Alex caught her tightly without letting go. "Come on, give your lord husband another kiss". Alex smirked as he closed his eyes teasingly.
Scathach rolled her eyes but willingly touched her soft lips with his. Alex used one hand to encircle her waist and the other to grab the back of her head as they kissed with passion and rogue abandon.
"This seals our and deal. When I marry, You will be one of my brides, Scathach". Alex said without putting any honourifics at the end of her name this time.
Scathach nodded her head as she hid her face in his neck and gently sniffed his manly scent. Both of them just hugged each other without any further movement in a comfortable silence.
"Let's go and take a bath. I have to go as well. It's getting late". Alex smiled and picked up Scathach in a princess carry and took her to the bath.
Scathach's ears were a but red as she hid her face in Alex's chest during the walk. Seeing this, Alex started to fondle her ass and her back with his hands.

Both of them took a bath as Scathach leaned on Alex's chest in the bathtub. They enjoyed the moment of peace and just sat in the bathtub in silence.
"Alright, let's leave now. I also need to go before they start worrying about me". Alex said as he stood up and dried off himself and Scathach with a towel.
As he was depart, Scathach caught the hem of his shirt with her small hands. "You know". Before he could finish his words. Scathach kissed him again.
They battles their tongues for a while and separated reluctantly. "Alright now don't be like this. I will come again, okay". Alex said as he patted her head with his hand.
Scathach nodded reluctantly and Alex left towards his house.
