Chapter 122: You

Brayden wanted to talk to Meredith and clear some things up. He was having a difficult time understanding what was bothering her and nothing that he had tried helped. Finally he decided he would just ask.

From what he could ascertain it seemed like she was jealous. She didn't act as though she knew she was jealous but that's what he interpreted it as. She had dictated what his secretary was going to wear for god's sake. Brayden shook his head at the thought.

She was jealous of pretty much any woman that might be in his life. It was flattering but also confusing. She found that marriage felt like she was being caged. He didn't know how to remedy that other than a divorce, which he couldn't do.

More than he couldn't divorce Meredith he wouldn't. It would be detrimental for the both of them. Surely Meredith had to see what a divorce would do to her. She was in the public eye. Had her identity remained a secret then it wouldn't affect her.
