Chapter 1: Subject 984908
The last thing Leo remembers before waking up in the dark room was rolling himself off of his bed and unplugging his life support machine. He lost everything he cared about when he lost a bet and didn't pay. His last family member was murdered and Leo's car got bombed. He barely survived the bombing and lost 80% of his motor functions. He was barely able to kill himself after three years of physical therapy.
Leo tried to sit up but realized he was restrained. He tried harder to move and some of the restraints stretched. Then all of sudden the lights flashed on distracting Leo causing the restraints to snap him back down to the table he was on.
"Congratulations Subject 984908 you are the first success this program has managed to churn out. Now son, tell me how much of the experiment do you remember," said a masked man as he walked over to the table.
"Subject 984908?, experiment?, What the hell are you talking about," Leo questioned.
"Ah do you remember any of your past such as a date?," masked man asked with a clipboard in his hands.
"My name is Leo Ahle and Today's date is June 3rd, 2022" Leo said with absolute confidence.
The masked man dropped his clipboard and with a shocked look in his eye said,"Your sense of time seems to be off. Today's date is October 25th, 5801 and your name is 984908 not Leo Ahle".
The masked man then picked the clipboard up and went to a cabinet not far from the table Leo was tied down to. The masked man pulled a tray out of the cabinet. The tray had four syringes of different colors; Red, Blue, Violet, and Black.
The masked man walked over and said,"You have total amnesia and your sense of time seems to be extremely off. You might feel a bit of a stab". The masked man injected the red syringe into Leo's leg.
Leo immediately started burning up after the red syringe was emptied. He was also swept away with an extreme wave of exhaustion and passed out shortly after the masked man set the tray down by his feet.
While Leo was asleep he had the strangest dream. He saw a man who looked like him wielding a pair of pistols. The pistols were black and white, chained together and appeared to be chained to the man. Each pistol also had a blade extending around a foot from the barrel. The man's face looked like his except the irises of his looked like they had been replaced with stained glass of all different colors. The man also had medium length snow white hair with a mild tan making it look like his hair glowed. The man wore an Iren Maidon t-shirt and a pair blue jeans. The oddest thing about the man wasn't his eyes, hairs, or even his guns, it was the fact that he had 12 pairs of raven-like wings.
What Leo didn't know was that while he was sleeping the masked man was monitoring his condition. The masked man simply watched as Leo's body began a single pair of wings. After the masked man noticed some of the signs of the Leo waking up he injected the blue syringe into one of Leo's arms. After some time passed the masked man heard a sound like glass shattering. He looked around Leo and found no broken glass. He looked Leo over and noticed that the syringe marks had already healed up like nothing had happened. The masked man looked at Leo's face and noticed that his eyelashes looked red and matted together. The masked man put on gloves and was about to open Leo's eyes to see why the eye lashes were matted together. When Leo suddenly opened his eyes and gushed bloody tears. The masked man took note of what happened and also took note of the fact that Leo's irises looked like a stained glass window. The masked man returned the tray to the cabinet and started Leo's IV. Shortly after he left the room and turned the lights off.
