Chapter 2: Chapter 1— First Realm
A sudden thump disturbed the teenager's slumber the young teenager jolted awake and immediately noticed his surrounding changed. He squinted his emerald green eyes again and again to confirm that it wasn't a dream he had last night and to his surprise, it wasn't a dream.

"Ah!!"
He attempted to stand up but noticed how weak his body was and immediately fell to the floor. The first thing that came to his mind was that he hadn't woke up from the dream yet so he slapped his face with his small palm but after slapping his face until it was swollen, he still hadn't return to his world
and that's when he started to think that maybe, maybe he was trapped!
Just as he was about to panic, a crisp ding suddenly rang making him conscious as it carried a monotonous voice
[ Greetings, Host ]
The guy almost cried
"What do you mean host? What happened to me? where am I and who are you?" his voice slightly trembled. He wasn't a fool, he knew that this place isn't somewhere you can find in the real world but the confusing thing to him was, why is he here? he used to read books at free time but never did he read anything about fantasies alike let alone transmigration novels
[ The system brought your soul into this world to fulfill a mission ]
His eyebrows furrowed as he tried to digest the situation he's in. Finally he came up with a conclusion, his eyes widening
"Did you just kidnapped me?!" a surged of strength came out of nowhere allowing the guy to stand up but due to his shock, he didn't hear the last sentence and began panicking
"How. . how could you?.. You're kidnapping random soul for what? to...to..you.—" He stopped and thought
maybe transmigrating into another world is not bad. well, how could he not like it? in his previous world, he had countless debts and bills to pay not to mention the very little salary he earns every end of the month which was not enough for his daily necessities unlike here, he could at least hide from his obligations and start a new life!

But looking at his surrounding, it didn't seemed better infact, it's worse than his old home! Here, he didn't have a proper bed, and even lacking in material and what's more terrifying was that he seemed to wear some kind of robe?!
at first he thought 'am I a girl? why do I wear dress?' but upon closer inspection, he realized that it wasn't .
all of a sudden, the system spoke to him once again
[The purpose of your transmigration is that you, the host, must fulfill a certain task]
His conflicted expression was then replaced by a smile
"Oh~ a task, hm..so you'll give me a salary?" His smile brightened
[ No. However, the host can get a reward if the mission is accomplished ]
His smile froze. He lazily propped up his cheeks with his palm as he sat down on the cold floor
"Then, how do I survive in this unfamiliar world with nothing?" He mumbled to himself
not really expecting the system to answer
[ As a beginner, the system will naturally provide The client their one week supplies. So the host must survive until their deadline ]
The guy was happy that the system who mercilessly kidnapped him, would actually provide him his one week supply and as a person who was born in a poor family, food is especially easy for him
Though he couldn't understand what the system meant for 'deadline'
"So what's my mission and when do I start? is there some kind of interview?"
the system answered
[ The host has to fulfill his mission as a cannon fodder or stepping stone for both the villain and the protagonist ]
The guy coughed violently , as he held his throbbing chest he remembered that when he has nothing to do or if he got a chance to borrow a book, he would be reading in order to forget the problems he's having so normally, he knew what is a cannon fodder is let alone a stepping stone but why does it sound more risky than a cannon fodder in the modern books he'd read?
He's sure that a cannon fodder had to bully the protagonist in order to enhance their strength and side with the villain but in his case, fighting against the villain and the protagonist isn't an easy job
Tears literally streamed down his beautiful face as he held his round cheeks
"System, what do you mean by that?"
[ Your task is to wait for the villain and the protagonist to grow and unleash their strengths till then, you, as a cannon fodder, must find a way to create a grudge and misunderstanding between the two]
The system paused, giving him time to inhale but not digest the information he just heard
[ Once you're done, you must be slain by either the villain or the protagonist in order for this world to progress ]
