Chapter 2: Unlucky Day
Third-person Pov.
Terry Is pissed. She's in hurry but she think today is her unlucky day! She's already Thirty-freaking-minutes late to her appointment with Miss. Analine Marchesie.- The director of their company, Miss Analine has a skin illness- Psoriasis, which is a skin disease that causes red, scaly skin that may feel painful, swollen, or hot. which no one knows, and she's the only one who knew it. The director wants to keep it a secret to the whole board of directors. This disease does not fully understand by the scientist of what causes Psoriasis, but they know that it involves a mix of genetics and environmental factors.
Terry sighed as she remembered Ms. Analine's Disease but going back to where she is? Still, The cars are not moving! Heck, this might look old but the traffic sucks!
Suddenly her phone rungs making her frown,
'Who this might be?'
When she looks at the Callers ID her eyes grew big and hurriedly answered the call.
"[Where are you Doc, Terry?]" asked by the other line- which is Miss. Analine.
"I'm sorry ma'am I'm on my way to the company, It's just that this long traffic is getting on my way, having me a hard time arriving on time." She explained her situation to the director which the director understands.
"[Alright then, I Understand I'll just wait here a little more minutes, but please if you can, hurry please do, I still have a meeting with the board later after an hour or so.]"
She sighed and nod unconsciously as if the director is in her front. "Don't worry ma'am I'll be there in a minute or so."
'Beep' Beep'
"[Alright I'll count on you, Terry.]" She heard numerous beeps of the car in the back making her frown.
'This as*es. tsk'
"I'll go now ma'am see you in a minute." she hangs up the call and started to maneuver the car and started to drive fast, at last, the traffic is lifted!.
...
This is indeed her unlucky day! Terry thought that the traffic thingy is the only unlucky thing that will happen to her this day but there's more! on her way to the director's office, she bumped into someone.
It's Hiro.
Suck, this will definitely lead to 'eating outside
"Terry! It's been a week since I see you, how are you?" she secretly rolled her eyes.
she still has to go up to the fifth floor. Haist.
"I'm doing fine here." She said flatly while tapping the key button of the elevator.
"How about a coffee?now?"
That's why she doesn't want to see this guy, he always asks her out. tsk
She stops tapping the button and faces Hiro , she smiled sweetly, "I'm sorry Hiro but I still have a patient on the fifth floor." He nodded and then tap the button causing the elevator to open.
she steps inside but before the elevator close, a hand stops it causing the elevator to retreat.
"How about tomorrow morning?"
she shakes her head, "I'm sorry Hiro but I really can't." she saw him sighed and let the elevator close.
That's a relief.
...
"HOW are you feeling Ma'am?" she smiled as she asked Miss Analine
"Still the usual, my skin is itchy and It's swollen, I also felt really weird this past few days." She sighed as She list down some recommendations for her.
"What kind of weird thingy?" She asked the director while writing some medication for the director
"I can feel that I have thickened, pitted or ridged nails and Swollen and stiff joints." she nodded as she continues writing something.
" Well, That is normal to your disease you will really feel that."
she heard the director sighed.
"As what I expected."
"Okay so all you need is this- Steroid creams or ointments (topical corticosteroids) are commonly used to treat mild to moderate psoriasis in most areas of your body. The treatment works by reducing inflammation. This slows the production of skin cells and reduces itching. Topical corticosteroids range in strength from mild to very strong. you need to take good care of your body ma'am, so as maintaining that medicines. " she ripped the small piece of paper containing the prescribed medicines that Miss. Analine needed to take.
"Thank you for your time Doc. " Miss Analine smiled and offered her hand, that Terry accepted without hesitation.
"It's nice working with you ma'am, Just call me when you need me." the director nodded and wave her hand slowly.
"Keep safe, drive safely Doc Terry" she nodded and head outside.
Terry is driving moderately, way to the hospital she's working. there is no traffic and no hassle with driving.
well, that is what she expected to the flow of her life this day, but suddenly a cat- out of nowhere passed by the street that she hadn't even notice.
a loud creek sound echoed in the empty road as she steps on the break reflexively to avoid bumping the poor cat.
Her head bumps into the steering wheel and sighed numerous times. she can't even tell or count her rapidly beating heart. she hurriedly opens her car's door and nervously looks at the front of the car, and she almost had a heart attack when the-supposed-to-be-dead-cat jump in her front making her whimper in shock!
'Holly molly! what the hell is that?'
As she got startled about what happened she unconsciously steps inside her car dumbfounded.
she sighed and lean on the steering wheel and poke her head.
How can she be so careless, she nearly kills the cat!
She shook her head and started to open the engine. and slowly dove into the car.
"H*ck, Is this really my unlucky day?" she whispered.

Terry doesn't want to go to bars, clubs, or anything that is connected to drinking. but Veronica- her friend is so persistent!.
After her work at the hospital when she's about to get in her car, Veronica- the child-like lady. - her friend, interrupt her and get in her car quickly.
She frowned and look at her, asking what is she doing inside her car, but Veronica just laughs and put the seat belt on making her sigh.
She did not utter some words and just heavily sighed sign of defeat.
but that Is what Terry regrets the most.
Veronica wants to go to the club! and she can't even complain, for veronica's giving her headache because of its rants and tantrums, reasoning out, that they will just be quick.
But it's already been passed, fourthly-freaking-minutes and still they are in the bar and veronica's already dancing on the dance floor with numerous guys. heck! Just WTH!?
thinking deep and regretting every second that she approved to veronica's reason Terry felt going to the comfort room to pee.
she looks around searching for her friend but he couldn't find veronica, plus the fact that she needs to go home already, and - she drunk liquor and she thinks that she's already tipsy!.
And this is all veronica's fault! she was fooled by that cunning woman!, she fooled her by saying' drink just one and we'll go home' phrases an, Her being foolish, she'd been fooled by her wicked friend. by drinking vodka many times.
Terry was searching the restroom, when she saw the signboard she hurriedly got inside and pee.
after a minute or so she walks outside and heads back to their table, not until she bumped into someone.
her vision is a bit blurry but she can tell that it's a guy, she's about to leave the guy and not to care about what happened but the guy holds her hand and run towards the dark place which makes her frown.
'Heck! she felt dizzy'
when she looked up when they stop she saw a guy-well, he is unbelievably handsome, but her forehead knotted when the guy stares at her coldly but, what surprised her is what he did!
He kissed her!
'Do I have to call myself lucky or a -freaking-he*l- unlucky again?'
She asked her self savoring the kiss the guy is giving her.
Indeed this is her unlucky day!
