Chapter 21: Chapter 19 - Assassinated

(A/N: The system thingy that Hirota had has been trashed because it didn't really have any value since the original author changed plans after chapter 4, turning it irrelevant. However, it will not be removed from those chapters as it didn't feel right and could drastically shorten them.)

------------------------------------------------------------

Hirota's grin remained unyielding as he faced Hit, flanked by his six identical counterparts, each clutching a super dragon ball. The tension in the air was intense as they stared at each other.

Hit's composed demeanor faltered for a moment, his eyes narrowing as he assessed the situation before him. The realization that he was up against not just one, but an army of opponents dawned on him. A faint hint of respect mingled with his apprehension, acknowledging the incredible feat Hirota had achieved by summoning multiple versions of himself.

As the assassin prepared to confront this unprecedent challenge, Hirota spoke up with a smug demeanor.

"Hit, my friend, it seems you're faced with a dilemma. Six to one odds, and each one of us holding a super dragon ball. Care to rethink your strategy?"

Hit remained silence however, staying calm.

The Hirota clones exchanged a knowing glance, they tightened their grip on the orbs, their auras resonating with raw energy.

All together, they rushed in. Without his timeskip ability, Hit was at a major disadvantage here. One of the clones kicked him in the back, sending him flying. Another one of the clones teleported behind Hit and grabbed him before he could fly away, slamming him into the ground.

"GRRAH!!" Hit grunted in pain.

All of the Hirotas pinned him to the ground, charging energy into their hand as they held Hit in place. The energy engulfed the ground, turning it red. A moment of stark disruption shattered the air. Suddenly, out came a massive explosion that ruptured the equilibrium. The force of the explosion rippled through the battlefield, a blinding surge of energy and light that momentarily engulfed both the Hirotas and Hit. The shockwave propagated, unsettling the ground and launching debris and energy in chaotic trajectories. The once-still atmosphere became a tempest of power, accompanied by an otherworldly roar.

As the explosion's blinding brilliance began to fade, the aftermath was revealed. The landscape bore the scars of the detonation, marred by craters and upheaval. Smoke and dust hung in the air, shrouding the scene in an eerie haze. Amid this chaos, the Hirotas got up on their feet, sinister expressions etched onto their faces looking at the aftermath. On the opposite side, Hit emerged from the rubble, barely alive. He breathed heavily, having sacrificed all of his energy in order to survive.

Hirota looked up at the sky with a grin before turning back towards Hit.

"Well, what do you know? I accidentally destroyed the timestop. Verse Equalization does wonders."

"Da-Damn you...."

Hirota appeared in front of Hit in an instant as one of the other clones grabbed Hit from behind.

"This is goodbye, assassin. I'm sure you'll have a great funeral or something like that, if you aliens even have one anyway." He laughed.

Hit closed his eyes, accepting his death. Suddenly, a bright light blinded the Hirotas and pushed them back. When the light dissipated, there stood Champa and Vadod, along with Cabba, Kale, and Caulifla.

"Hey! Who are you!?" Champa shouted.

The Hirota clones threw the super dragon balls into a portal and disappeared. Hirota threw his own into the portal and cracked his knuckles.

"I didn't expect to be found so quickly! Is it because I killed your brother?" He smiled sinisterly.

"We don't know who you are, but no one messes with Universe six!" Caulifla shouted before turning back to Kale.

"Are you ready, Kale?"

Kale nodded hesitantly. Caulifla passed a potarra earring to her. They begin to put it on, much to Hirota's annoyance.

"Do you seriously think I'll allow you to fuse?"

With a wave of his arm, the potarra earrings suddenly shot towards him. He grabbed them out of the air, letting out a chuckle.

"H-Hey! Give those back!"

"Thanks for the gift, hahaha!"

In a swift motion, Caulifla's aura flared to life, radiating a brilliant golden light that signaled her transformation into a Super Saiyan 2. The surge of power rippled through the air, a visible manifestation of her strength and resolve. She propelled herself forward with insane speed. Her sights were locked on Hirota, her target clear.

As the distance between them closed in the blink of an eye, Caulifla's movements were a blur, a testament to her mastery over her enhanced form. The battleground transformed into a canvas of chaotic brilliance, streaks of energy slicing through the air as Hirota and Caulifla clashed in a dazzling display of power and skill.

"Impressive. But not good enough!"

Hirota grabbed her by the face and slammed her into the ground, destroying the ground around them. Caulifla quickly recovered and tried to kick Hirota but only ended up phasing through him.

"What the-!"

He took advantage of her confusion and striked her with a lightning-quick punch to the face. The impact was staggering, a collision of titanic forces that reverberated through the air. Caulifla's expression shifted from determination to surprise as the force of the blow struck her with unexpected intensity.

The punch sent shockwaves rippling through her body, her form propelled backward with undeniable force. The momentum carried her through the atmosphere, her body a streak of gold against the backdrop of space. In an instant, she crashed into another planet, the impact creating a spectacular explosion upon impact. The ground trembled and cracked under the force of her collision, upheaval radiating from the epicenter of impact like ripples on a pond.

As the dust and debris settled, a silence fell over the devastated landscape. The atmosphere held an electric tension, the aftermath of this punch by Hirota.

"Is that all you got!?" Hirota grinned.

Suddenly, a spike of intense energy came from behind him. He turned around, and it was Kale, who was getting increasingly angry.

"Oh yeah. I also have to worry about you. Bring it on! This should be fun!"

Fueled by a potent mix of concern and fury, Kale's emotions boiled over, her vocal cords releasing a primal scream that pierced through the air. The sound was visceral, carrying with it the weight of her rage and the intensity of her emotions. Her aura surged, a brilliant green energy enveloping her form like an all-encompassing shroud.

As her scream reverberated, the very fabric of reality seemed to respond to her distress. A massive pillar of vibrant green energy erupted from Kale's being, shooting upwards with unparalleled force. The column of energy pierced the sky, its brilliance a stark contrast to the backdrop of space.

In that moment, the battlefield was transformed into a canvas of green brilliance, the pillar of energy casting an otherworldly glow over the landscape. The air crackled with energy, and even the most resolute of combatants felt a tinge of trepidation in the face of Kale's unleashed fury.

Hirota, however, could only smile.
