Chapter 69: Intro
Eren and Daniel were still shocked at the bizarre situation. However, they knew that sorting out this matter was more important than procrastinating.
At first, Eren wished to pose as the original owner of the unknown body. He was tempted to lie his way through but realized that it was unneeded. Even if they capture him and send him to a lab for research, he can forcefully break the connection to return to the titan world. Hence they were now both sitting on chairs facing each other.
"So….you are an immortal world traveller, with superpowers?" Daniel asked with his eyes squinted like a squirrel. It would have come off as intimidating, had it not come from an ikemen's face.
Eren truly believed it was the body perfectly suited for celebrities.
"Yup." He answered, popping the P. Lifting his hands up he clapped once, and a clone came out from the smoke behind him. "There are lots of things I can do. Honestly, I'm pretty sure even the strongest ghoul from your world would at best be a warmup for me."
"….Can I get some time to think about this?" Daniel asked with his eyes lowered. He had to admit the reality of his life, but even when it happened in front of him, he was struggling to accept it. A clone had been conjured with his guest's exact face and voice.
"Nope. We don't have that luxury. You are currently in a body with absolutely zero digital footprints. If the authorities notice you, you'll be held in prison on suspicion of being a spy."
The more Eren elaborated, the paler Daniel's complexion became. He understood that getting a better body was not as sweet and colorful as he depicted it to be. Although he was apologetic to the original owner, who now turned out to not be one, a small part of him was happy to get a fresh start.
"And why are you so shocked about me being a wanderer? You literally swapped bodies today!"
"Ah, Right!.....so what now?"
"Well, we need to get you an ID and a fake history. I don't have any connections with the black market yet, so it'll take some time."
"Can't you change my face with your powers?"
"I can, but I decided to live 'this' life, solely as a human."
"O-oh."
"Stop pretending to understand deep words. You're not that deep...that came out wrong…" Daniel and Eren both cringed at those words, one from uttering them, and one from hearing them.
"So from now on I'm Daniel Park," Eren claimed before he lost his chance. "It'll be easier to live as Daniel legally, which only I can do right now.
Daniel didn't object as he was concerned more about himself. Just as he was about to inquire about it, the doorbell rang. The cautious duo slowly opened the door and peeked out to find a small parcel.
"It might be a bomb…" Eren said with eyes closed, followed by a nod.
"D-d-d-d-don't say such scary things!" Daniel got mad at him, but in reality, he was thinking the same thing. An unknown man just delivered a parcel without explaining anything.
'It's not a bomb…right?'
"Just open it you wimp" Daniel (Eren) spoke out once again in frustration before reaching his hand out to open the box. There was only one obstacle.
"Don't….use…my hand…to open…..THE BOX!" Daniel was fiercely resisting Daniel as Daniel tried opening the box with Daniel's hand.

When they finally opened the box, they saw a neat stack of papers. Almost all of them were of different things. But the one thing they had in common was that the subject of those papers was a boy named James Lee, with the exact face as the original Daniel.
"Looks like you have a backer wimp. Are you sure you didn't tell anyone about it?"
Daniel Park now had the identity he lacked with the name of James Lee.
