Chapter 4: Validity
It was evening, still the dark clouds made it look like night. I don't know why I felt some strange changes in my body. I felt more powerful than before.
"Mr. Winston! What a surprise, to see you here with this person at this time" Professor Oliver said it with a crooked smile.
"Even it's a surprise for me. I never know that you conduct special classes outside the classroom. " said Austin aggressively gazing at him with a fake smile.
"You know, your dad was a good friend of mine. I really miss him a lot and I always worry for you boys, since your dad isn't there anymore. "
Austin dad isn't alive? What happened to him?
Why he didn't tell me this, when he asked about my parents?
After hearing what Professor Oliver said, even the fake smile disappeared.
"Don't worry, Professor Oliver. We aren't kids anymore. We can take care ourselves very well. "
"Good for you" said Professor Oliver.
I don't have a good feeling about him. It is like a vigorous snake and aggressive wolf fighting.
I decided to break the silence.
"It's late, we should go guys. "
"What's the hurry Miss. Kristen Walker "
Professor Oliver switched his gaze towards me.
"When hearing the word Walker. The only person who comes to my mind is your Mother! ".
I swear if he talk something about my mom, I am not going to leave him. My only strong and weak point is my family. And if he says anything about bad about my mother, I can't control myself.
" Professor Oliver, don't. " interrupted Jaden.
"You know we aren't allowed to talk about these things sir". said Kate.
These things? What does she mean? Do they know anything , which I don't?.
" Let's go, Kris! " .
Austin took my hand and turned to walk away from there.
"Your Mother...I mean your mom Amelia Walker... " he started again. I mean? What is he trying to tell?.
"Your mom was a member in our group. She was more like a family to us. But she turned out as a traitor. "
Austin didn't let me turn back. I wasn't able to control my anger.
" Thinking about it, your mom was innocent. Maybe it's your dad who turned her like that. In fact, I pity her. Till the end her love for your dad was one sided".
My blood was boiling. I will not be able take a word anymore. I felt like burning him for saying such words about my parents. I was about to burst. I pushed my hand away from Austin and turned aggressively.
"That's enough! " I yelled in anger.
I can tell Professor Oliver was shocked. I gazed at his brown eyes aggressively. But, I was surprised to see the reflection in his eyes. I saw the reflection of the fire in his eyes.
Everyone present there was equally stunned, including Kate and Jaden.
"Kris! " Austin said, looking at me.
When I came to sense, I noticed that the fire was around me. Or should I say, I was in the fire?.
