Chapter 6: Training
"Forbidden Devil Transformation Technique"
Cool name. Han Li thought. He began tonsee Lin Fanzhi's memory relating to this technique.
"I see, so this book helps us improve our body and soul. Since the technique's name is devil transformation, I am guessing it's gonna transform me into a devil upon practicing it. Cool! I am definitely practicing this technique" said Han Li.
What was Han Li's goal in this world, to have much fun as he can!. And to achieve that, he obviously needs to be super strong in this dog eat dog world. And this technique is a cheat item, which is gonna make his cultivation soar. Even if he becomes a devil!
The only problem is his current cultivqtion. He got to this realm through practicing low level cultivation techniques, So it won't be as good as practicing this devil technique. And this technique requires firm foundation to be able to cultivate smmothly and fast.
So he did the only logical thing he, could do rightnow. He crippled his cultivation. As for how will he hide it from his family, he will work it out.
Han Li checked his cultivation and, he could not feel Qi at all. Han Li immediately grinned and started practicing Forbidden Devil Transformation Technique according to it's instructions. He had already seen the time, it was night, so he knew nobody would come to disturb him right now.
First of all he repaired his dantian. His dantian had become several times larger than his previous one after repairation and he couldalso feel more qi in the surroundings and also absorb them much faster. He knew crippling himself was worth it as he had seen from Lin Fanzhi's memories. He had repaired it by before sunrise. So he started cultivating for another couple of hours before a maid came inside. He had already broken through to the 4th stage of body tempering. He felt many black smelly substances which were impurities around him.
The maid was suprised to find him awake, She looked at all the impurities and started to prepare a bath. She did not question him anything about the impurities at all.
After bathing, He wore new clothes and checked himself in the mirror. His hair and eyes had become abit darter though it was barely noticable. What was noticable was the paleness of the skin. He looked like a ghost with some sickly skin. Han Li knew these were the side effects of Cultivating that devil art, so he was not too worried. What he was about was how to explain to his family.
When he got out of thebathroom, He saw all his family members waiting for him at the now cleaned room. They all stared at him checking him which made him pretty uncomfortable.
"Are you all right son, you jad suffered a lot of injuries yeaterday, and What's with that pale skin, it was not so yesterday, was it?"
His mother asked to him. She came near him to check his pale skin. It did not feel anything different except it was a bit colder.
"Mom, I too don't know how my skin got so pale?"
"Is that so, Maybe you were poisoned by that bastard Lin. Go call physician Wu here immediately!"
"Honey, Didn't the physician yesterday say there were no signs of poisoning?" his father said to mother helping her calm.
"Mom, I don't feel any different, It might just be a side effect of yesterday's beating. So, It's probalbly a small matter,"
"Anyway let the physician check you whether it's a small matter or not!"
Seeing he could not refuse, he did not say anything. Then his father asked him.
"Son, What were you doing with bastard Lin yesterday, there were many dead bodies there. Did you do something?"
"No father, I did not do anything. Yesterday me and my brothers were just talking wnd having good time when suddenly we encountered Lin Fan. We taunted him and tried to beat him up. Bu-ut " At this point Han Li was shaking.
"Lin Fan had somehow recovered his cultivation and attacked us, he killed all my brothers except one who had gone to ask help. I fought him , but I was no match for him, Just when I thought I was gonna die I saw a barrage of red light coming and hitting him. Some of them missed, some him him. That's all I remember, after that I lost consciousness."
"Is that so.*sigh* Don't worry that Lin Fan is already dead. Looks like that mysterious expert killed him. In the end, this was all because of you. If you had not bullied him in the past, he would not have come for his revenge. You should be ashamed of this and reflect on your past actions." His father added the last part coldly towards him and drive off to somewhere. He had a very disappointed look when telling that.
He looked at his brother and sister who were looking at him too. They too had a disappointed look intheir faces instead of earlier concerned faces.
His mother to looked disappointed at him, after all it was his own mistake, that had given him so much trouble.
He faced his head downwards looking dejected.
'Seeing that original Han Li was totally that type of person, Even I myself believed this lie. The only parts in my story that will be difficult to believe would be Lin Fan's recovery and the mysterious expert coming to save me, But I don't think that will really be a problem.'
Soon the physicist arrived, He checked Han Li and said there was nothing wrong with him and all he needed was rest , which finally relieved his mother. After that his mother and siblings left the room after asking him to reflect on his past actions to rest. He started cultivating the Demon art.

In the Green Ring City Lord's office
There were two people, seated across a table opposite to each other. One was middle aged while the other was Young.
They were Han Yu and Han Zi.
At the moment, both of them were thinking about The mysterious cultivator that rescued Han Li and Lin Fan's suddent recovery.
" What could have been the reasons for that mysterious expert to save Han Li? And How could Lin Fan suddenly recover his cultivation when his dantian was brokena and should have been impossible to fix??"
"Indeed, father there are many questions and mysteries hidden in this incident. Father did you manage to find anything about that mysterious expert?"
" No, I've dispatched all the free personnels to search for that mysterious cultivator. There are no cultivators who are in the Foundation Establishment stage who have entered the city in last month. From what, Li'er said that expert has to be at least Foundation establishment stage to pull off a stunt like that. With the city's defense system, No Foundation Establishment stage can barge inside without alerting the city guards. Do you think Li'er could be lying"
" Father, I don't think little brother was lying. He looked genuinely ashamed and even admitted all his buulying towards Lin Fan."
" Then that can only mean one thing, The expert is a Gold Core stage Expert" Han Yu said with some excitement, after all Gold Core satge Experts were very rare in the entire Tupi kingdom and could be called powerhouses. They also had the power of flight, so it would be no problem bypassing the security system. They also had enough power to destroy an entire mountain easily.
Han Yu then continued, " The problem is why would a Gold Core realm expert come to a small city like this one."
Han Zi's eyes suddenly flashed, as if something occured to him.
" Father, I think, I've got an idea of What's really going around."
"Hmm! What! Don't keep me waiting!"
" I think that Lin Fan suddenly recovering his cultivation and that gold core expert coming here are realted."
"How??"
" Father, I think that Lin Fan found a powerful treasure which helped his regain his lost cultivation, and to get that treasure that Gold Core realm cultivator came here in this small city. Think about it, he killed Lin Fan not to save Han Li, but to actually get the treasure. Maybe He did not silence Han Li, because he thought little brother was gonna die or he did not know anything"
Han Zi was half right anyway, Lin Fan did recover hos cultivation using a treasur, but rhe rest was just bullshit
" Indeed what you said makes sense, You are a true genous son. I am very proud of you"
" It's nothing father. I think, We should stop searching for that expert and protect Han Li and not let him outside until the Sect elders come to the city to take us"
"Yes, I was thinking the same too. I will immediately stop all the search and order Han Li to just stay inside the mansion and not come out until he goes to Xuan sect."
"That would be for the best, father. Goodbye father, I will go back to cultivate now." with that Han Zi left the office.
Han Yu nodded at his son and started to do some paperwork.

Han Li over the next few days cultivated upto 7th stage of Qi condensation. He could jave gone higher but stopped not be suspicious. He did not have any techniques to hide his true cultivation from higher realms yet, so he didn't bother to increase hi cultivation right now. He would increase it once he goes to Xuan Sect. His looks to slowly started to change, He became a bit taller and his already dark hair and eyes became darker and his skin became slightly paler than before. His looks were not much noticed.
He also practiced two high level martial arts from Lin Fanzhi's memories in the miniature forest. One of them was Shadow walk. It was divided into 3 steps. The first step was to become extremely fast. The second step was to become invisible and silent, so even a cultivator with divine sense can't sense him.The third step was to become one with shadows.
He had just started practicing and was just a beginner in the first step. Still, he had noticabely become a lot fater than before. He had specifically praxticed this to escape from situations he couldn't handle.
The second martial art he practiced was Qi burst which was an offense technique which could also help in defense. Like it's name implied, he can create a ball which can cause explosions using qi.
When mastered he can create thousands of explosions which could destroy everything in radius of 1000s of miles within less than a second. Sadly, He was just a beginner and could create a small explosion in 30 seconds in his palm even which should be able to injure an early Foundation Establishment realm cultivator. His Gun is his trump card, since others could covet it and would ise it as a supeise against his enemies to immediately kill them.
The reason he did not practice defensive techniques right now was because he hadno tike to praxtice 3 different techniques and felt his body had become much stronger which should be able to take on early Foundation establishmeant realm
cultivatotlr no problem.
So He dedicated all his time practicing these martial arts and his gun for the next few days until The Xuan sect elder arrived to take him away.
