'I didn't expect much from him because I knew if I expect a future from him, he will not be able to give it to me , and I'll be the one who will suffer from it.' I sighed.
'So you just let him go?', Jenna asked.
'I didn't had the option to hold him, cause being in love means you have to sacrifice.'
'Why don't try to contact him now?'
I sighed and told her, 'he left me because he didn't want to see me, why would I bother him by calling him. At first tried but he ignored me that's why I came to this thinking.'
'I don't know why he left you but I think he is a dumbass to do that.'
I smirked. I came and sat on the couch from the window, because looking at those streets of Seattle and talking about him still makes my heart ache.
'I may be seem dumb by asking this question but I can't leave or finish this interview without this question"
'Yes sure ask away!'
'Do you still love him, miss him?'
I smiled, rather a painful one. 'People leave but memories stays forever, they never let you forget,' I said while looking at the floor and caressing the coffee mug recalling every memory we have had.
'So the important one, is he your muse in writing romance stories with bit of tragedy?'
I laughed and said, 'Muse! I would rather say that he is a painful past which still breaks me in to pieces, the pieces which I still fail to pair today. And for my stories, my muse is myself not anyone else.'
'The last question, Why didn't you come out as Alyssa Jordan at first place you still continued to write under your pen name 'DANIELLE'?'
'Actually I never wanted fame and all, I wanted to pursue my dreams but one of my publisher got the idea somehow that I might be DANIELLE, then started spy on me I don't know what was his motive in exposing me in front of the world and look at me, sitting in front of you answering your questions.'
Jenna and I laughed.
'Thank you for answering my questions and sharing your private life with me.'
'Ms. Rivera I would like you to keep my one request please don't publish it on any other social media platform because I would like to keep these to myself ',I placed my business card on table and slide it towards her and said, 'Ms. Rivera please call my assistant tomorrow and say I told you to give a call her name is Bonnie Richards. '
'Okay I'll'.
I bid her bye and exited the room. Jonathan my driver was waiting for me there outside of the building with the car.
Suddenly I hear a bell ring on my front door.
'Mrs. Guerra can you please check who's here?'
'Yes madam,'
I was recalling yesterday's interview with Miss Rivera, that ringing bell broke into my thoughts, I don't have much work right now that's why I was spacing out. My new novel released previous week and some movie directors also willing to do a movie on one of my novels. I have been very busy in my life since then I never got the chance of missing him but he made a hollow in my heart which couldn't be fulfill by another things or someone else's love. He didn't left me alone though, he gave me a precious gift of my entire life, a new self and a pain to bear in my heart.
'Madam, where should I put these?' asked Mrs. Guerra.
I was sitting on the terrace, lost in my own thoughts. I didn't hear Mrs. Guerra's question.
'Madam?', she said loudly.
'Oh Mrs. Guerra I'm sorry I was kind of absent minded', my eyes fell upon those gorgeous rose bouquets 'who sent these?'
'I don't know madam I asked the delivery person he said he can't tell, maybe there will a card'.
I smiled and nodded. She was going away but she returned and said 'madam there is a gift box in the hall way should I carry it here?'
'Yes Mrs. Guerra, thank you'.
She left to grab the box from the hall way, I sat on the couch and grabbed the bouquets, I took out the card, its written Grayson along with a letter in a gray colored envelope.
