Chapter 3: Who even is She?

The soul of a poor, young girl was getting drained and drenched out of her body, while the wall was white reaching to the highest pitch. Floors were so clean but Oh, the windows so mean as they were closed and shut down, no fresh air and no fresh plan of escaping, accompanied by the fellow evil doors that unfortunately were locked up too and the ceiling being the last, sealing everything up for her.

So lost in her thoughts, searching for answers but she wasn't even close to getting the mere beginning of answers, so let alone the desirable hints she needed for the answers that she wanted.

The clock was ticking, Time was draining out of hand, and so was her soul out of happiness that her mind desired. She was confused, confused of living. She thought she was just a lousy spider who's spent hours and hours building her web, but she can't get the proper things, so the spider just sits there, hungry and starving to death for catching its prey.

No matter how hard she tried, she could never get the perfect ingredients nor the recipe for her favorite dish, when what her mother used to always teach her, came to her mind, "A pinch of spice, with something nice, will always create the perfect recipe for you to feast upon. Always remember that little pinch of spice always comes within you, so whenever you need it for the perfect dinner, activate your mind for the darkness, taking the portrait of the innocent little spice which could do you no harm and only give the flavor everyone desires while doing the magic that you have."

Who actually was Avyanna? What was her age? Who was her mother? What happened to? ---

"I am just an ordinary woman, working in a café to support myself from rotting on the cold streets.", I replied to his question but yet again I saw that un-amused and cocky look on his face--I knew he was enjoying this but, I did not have a choice. There was a gun placed on the back of my head as I could feel the little beads of sweat forming and then falling all over my body.

"Tell me your name dear", He said while an arrogant smile was plastered all over his face. I think he knew that it was the fourth time that he was asking me this and I was really starting to lose my calm. "My name is Avyanna Adair. I am twenty-four years old--", Gasped in the middle of the sentence when I was pulled in the embrace of huge muscular arms as a knife was grazing my neck. And that was when the actions of his hit a nerve inside of me and I started to get boiled with anger

"Bring out piece number 106 from yesterday, tell her that I have some special plans for her.", He ordered to one of his guards or servants, I couldn't really tell the difference.

A few minutes had passed and I started to hear faint screams coming from a woman and they were getting louder as the moment passed.

Waves of panic rushed through out my body as I saw a teenage girl screaming and trying to get out of the guards' hold but she looked so pale and weak--no wonder that she could not get out of their hold. Screams were the only thing that I heard in the room. I did not want to see this, I didn't want to see her like this--she was so beautiful, maybe she even had a bright future ahead of her. It raged up my anger more to see her like this.

"Kill her.", Aiden ordered to me sternly while handing me a knife while I accepted but with shaking and sweaty hands. I was in the fear of taking an innocent life which was always supposed to be in god's hands but people like Aiden steal those things and then mis-use them.

"Kill her.", He ordered more sternly which angered me even more than I was before. I knew this woman would be killed, raped or tortured even if I didn't. "Do it.", He said and that was when I lost it.

My eyes darkened, clutching the knife hard in my hand, turning my heels I marched towards that girl, grabbed her hair as she screamed in horror. She knew what was about to happen her. I took the knife way up in the air with both of my hands holding his tightly while my feet strangled her on the ground. I don't remember anything after that but I remember what happened after the event that took place by me.

She was no longer alive, she was dead and it was all my fault.

I was dying in guilt when I woke up heard the nerve-wracking news. Apparently, I passed out after stabbing her brutally many times. It physically pained me when I saw him smirking at me, standing on the side of the room while tears fell on my pillow moistening it. I didn't like it when I heard her faint screams and cries repeating in my head. I don't recall it being in my memory but flashes of it came and struck my mind as hard as it could.

She died and it was all my fault ,yet my mind still gave me hope as I imagined her to be a beautiful and majestic butterfly twirling around and flying inside the good gracious gardens of heaven.

Questions are lingering around minds that are involved in the destiny of this girl. Who is she? Wasn't she just a polite girl? This wasn't her. Where was the old kind-hearted soul, Avyanna? Where was the real Avyanna? But more importantly who was the real Avyanna?
