Chapter 64: Chapter 64

"Are you waiting for someone?" Anira asked from behind him.

Aizen nodded to her with a light smile.

"Is that the one that has been occupying your mind since the previous night?"

"Yes."

"A girl?" She curiously asked.

Aizen chuckled at her words and nodded.

"Yes. She is a beautiful girl." His words brought a smirk to her face.

Anira approached him and stood by his side, leaning on the railing, looking over all the Trainers that were gathered on the deck below them.

"Who's the lucky girl that has managed to hook you with her looks?" She mischievously asked.

"It's not just her looks." He winked at her and she she stuck her a tongue back at him. "Well, take a guess. She has raven hair and pink eyes, and she's a Vertress Conference Winner."

Anira's eyes widened at his words. She knew exactly who her brother was talking about.

"The Moonheart girl..." She whispered.

The Orayen Princess knew her brother better than anyone. She knew that no girl could simply hook his mind with her looks, and he had just jokingly admitted that it was more than just looks that have got the Moonheart occupying his mind. She could also sense that Aizen was worried about something.

"Is there something wrong with her?" Now she took a guess and seriously asked him.

"A Psychic who gave up on her emotions..." Aizen sighed and answered.

"How strong is she?" Anira narrowed her eyes.

"In raw power of the Psychic Focus, she is stronger than me. But she lacks in finesse and efficiency." He informed her.

Anira could discern from his voice that he did not consider her as someone dangerous. He felt sad for her, and at the same time, he felt attracted to her.

"Are you going to help her?" She turned her face to look at him and asked.

Aizen remained silent at her question, his eyes still unfocused as he stared at the port, and his silence was her answer.

The Orayen Princess returned her eyes to the deck and smiled when she saw Leaf and Misty happily chatting with the hazel-eyed girl's classmates.

It was the day they were leaving for Sayda Island. Yesterday's Gym Battle went smoothly for both Aizen and Leaf, and they managed to win their Fourth Badge, the Silver Badge.

Aizen didn't even need to use other Pokémon as Wartortle won him both rounds. Leaf used her Flabebe and Weepinbell against an Eevee and Persian, winning both rounds of her match. And then they spent the rest of the day shopping and preparing for today's journey. And now they were here, quarter to six in the morning, ready for the day.

The hazel-eyed girl found her classmates Gary and Ritchie on the boat when they arrived, and she had been enthusiastically chatting with them since then. She got along with them just fine and told them all about their adventures so far.

Ritchie was an amiable, respectful, and happy-natured boy. He loved talking, but never pried into personal matters, and was genuinely excited to see his classmates on the boat. He happily informed them about his journey so far.

Just like Leaf, he had managed to win four badges thus far and did not seem to be in a rush to go to the next Gym. One thing Aizen and the girls learned within a few minutes of meeting him was that the Auburn-haired boy loved travelling. He was crazy about exploring new places, and his excitement about exploring Sayda Island was burning brightly in his sparkling blue eyes.

Gary Oak was less expressive than Ritchie, but he was excited to meet his classmates as well. He just had a different way of showing it. He introduced them to all the Pokémon he had on him and informed them how and where he caught them. His Starter was already a strong Wartortle, which was impressive. And then there was the fact that he had already won six Gym Badges.

Right now, he was on a break to travel and train his Pokemon before focusing again on the Gym Circuit. One thing that they learned about Gary from their interaction was that he was very serious about raising his Pokemon, focusing on making them strong, not compromising on their health, and keeping them in the best shape possible.

Leaf's Pichu liked the company of Ritchie's Pikachu. And the two Pokemon were playing on one side with Flabebe and Rinko. Their antics brightened the smile on Anira's face, and soon she was giggling when she watched Flabebe hit everyone with a light Fairy Wind in retaliation to the Thunder Wave of Pichu.

"She's here." Aizen lightly spoke.

Anira looked at the port and watched the tall raven-haired girl step onto the deck of their boat after showing her License to the Guards.

Sabrina attracted a lot of curious eyes when she arrived, but her aloofness kept people away from approaching her. After a good few minutes of staying on the lower deck, she climbed the stairs to the upper deck and approached the siblings.

Anira couldn't help but giggle when Sabrina just silently came to stand by their side, not making any talk and turned to look at the port the same way Aizen had been doing before she arrived here. It was quite funny to her, but Aizen suppressed his chuckle that was prompted by his little sister's giggling.

"Good Morning!" Anira happily greeted her. "I am Anira, Aizen's little sister." She introduced herself.

"Sabrina." The girl with pink eyes looked at her and nodded with a desolate smile.

"My brother is smitten with you, you know? You have been on his mind since you last met." She suppressed her giggles and informed the raven-haired girl, which earned her a playful glare from her brother.

Sabrina turned to look at Aizen and kept looking at him for a while. The silence lingered between them, and just when Aizen was about to change the subject, the raven-haired girl said something unexpected.

"If I have children with you, they will be beautiful and strong. You are the best candidate for marriage."

Her words froze the siblings and turned their minds blank. They comically looked at her with wide eyes, which made her raise her brow quizzically at them.

"Did I say something wrong?" She asked.

Her question brought them out of their trance and Aizen cleared his throat before managing to smile again. Had she been another girl, he might have either excused himself or teased her, but Sabrina was a different case.

"What brought that idea?" He seriously asked.

"I am the last Moonheart, and I have to continue my family legacy." She simply said.

"What happened to your family?" Anira sounded worried.

"My Father was the last Moonheart before me. According to what he told me, the numbers of the Family dwindled after the war, and some deserted the Family. Their legacies are no longer eligible to bear the Moonheart name since they have lost their traits and powers. Only one line remained. My parents were murdered when I was eleven, and now it is only me."

The voice was devoid of any emotion when she spoke of what happened to her parents. It ached the hearts of the siblings and they remained silent for a while.

"So you are looking for a husband?" He raised his brow to which she shook her head.

"I am not. Since you are smitten with me as your sister has said, I won't need to look for anyone else in the future either."

Aizen could not bring himself to say that he was not exactly smitten with her and that Anira was only joking. And then the discussion turned even more serious when Anira spoke her next words.

"You do realise that by marrying him, Moonheart will become a branch Family to the Orayen, right?" The princess looked her in the eyes and asked.

"I know that." She nodded her head.

"And you are fine with it?"

"What is important is that my legacy remains strong and does not lose our Psychic Powers. My Family has no Authority anymore, and we can't return to the Kingdom that once betrayed us. With me marrying him, Moonheart Family will be officially affiliated with your Kingdom. Your Family's influence at the High Table will rise, and my children will get some Authority in return. By becoming a branch family to a Royal Family, we will still be considered an Arcane Family. And most importantly, my Family's name will live on."

"It would still live on if you take a consort." Anira pointed out, but she couldn't refute the other points Sabrina had raised.

"It is still the best option I have." The raven-haired girl indifferently said.

The bluntness of their conversation made Aizen sweat. He could see that Anira approved of Sabrina, and it just made him more restless. Thankfully, a certain Orange-haired girl came to his rescue.

"Hey!" The three of them turned around and saw Misty approach them with a bright smile. She curiously looked at Sabrina before drawing her hand forward to her. "I am Misty! Anira and Aizen's friend." She introduced herself.

"Sabrina." The Raven-haired girl shook her hand.

Her emotionless voice unnerved her a little, but she managed to retain her smile and looked at the siblings.

"What were you talking about?"

"We were talking about my marriage with Aizen." The raven-haired girl answered before Aizen or Anira could say something.

"W-what?" She subconsciously uttered the question before her mouth dropped open and her eyes widened in disbelief.
