Chapter 112: Chapter 112
Aizen could not remember the last time he overslept, but he had overslept today.
When he opened his eyes, it was already late, and Leaf had left for her Gym Battle. Sabrina and Anira were not in the Suite as well, which meant that they had gone together with Leaf.
After checking on Misty, who was sound asleep in her bed, tired after a long night that they shared, he walked into the bathroom to freshen up. And it was there that an accident happened.
Aizen yawned as he closed the door of the bathroom behind him, and then turned around to look in the full-sized mirror where he found himself, but also another figure in the corner.
Her long dark blue hair was cascading down her naked back, and as she leaned over to wear her stocking, her shapely ass, which was stunningly perfect, was in full view for him.
He felt a little embarrassed when he met her panicking eyes in the mirror, and then apologetically lowered his head before turning away and walking out of the bathroom.
Fennel burned in a furious blush as soon as he left and then tried to dress up with her fumbling hands.
She incessantly chastised herself over her negligence, and then just blushed more as she remembered his eyes roaming over her body.
Several minutes later, she exited the bathroom, and she found Aizen waiting there.
"My Apologies..."
"I am sorry..."
Aizen and she spoke at the same time, and then they looked up to meet each other's eyes.
Fennel immediately blushed under his gaze and lowered her head.
"I should have locked the door. It's not your fault." She meekly said.
"I would still like to apologise for it," Aizen sincerely replied, and then an awkward silence followed between them.
Sensing that Fennel was feeling a little uneasy, he immediately excused himself and tried to walk past her into the bathroom.
"Aizen."
He heard her call him by his name and he stopped and turned around to look at her.
Fennel still had her head lowered, and he could not help but find her immensely cute as she wore her big spectacles and furiously blushed.
"Yes?" He asked, and the girl briefly glanced at him before lowering her head.
"Am I pretty?" She nervously asked, and he sighed in his heart when he heard her question.
"You are beautiful, Fennel." He smiled at her as he answered her question and then simply entered the bathroom, closing the door behind him.
Thankfully, there was no hint of awkwardness between the two of them following this incident, and when he arrived at the breakfast table, where she was sitting, eating her meal, she happily engaged in a conversation about some research.
By the time they finished eating, Anira, Leaf, and Sabrina had returned.
"Congratulations!" He did not need to ask how the Gym Battle went as he could see the result reflected in Leaf's infectious smile.
"Thank you!"
Leaf walked up to him and hugged him, and then leaned into the pats that he gave her.
"Leaf was awesome today!" Anira then excitedly narrated to them how her friend won the match.
As always, the girl was not keen on taking any risks.
When The Gym Leader sent out Venonat as his first Pokémon, she gave Pichu a chance to shine, and shine it did. However, it could no longer continue after taking out Venonat.
She sent our Charmander next to deal with the Gym Leader's Parasect.
It was not the same as the one he has used against Aizen, and this Parasect had the ability, Effect Spore, something she found out the hard way.
The battle was not easy for Charmander, but in the end, it managed to grab the win thanks to its Type Advantage, and even though it was pumped up to continue, Leaf asked it to get rest as she sent out her Pidgeot to deal with Pinsir.
She could have sent out her own Pinsir, but she wanted to be done with this Battle so that she could grab her badge and finally unlock the additional two spots on her Roster.
As expected, Pidgeot grabbed an easy win against Pinsir, who was completely helpless against it.
"So, whom have you filled those two spots with?" Aizen smiled and asked after Leaf told him that she had already asked Nurse Joy to increase her Roser Limit by verifying her badges.
"Ponyta and Duskull." She told him that she planned on focusing on their training for the coming couple of weeks.
Leaf had grown a lot in the months she has spent with them, and now, she possessed a very clear head about what she wanted to do. She no longer needed a lot of help, and therefore, both Aizen and Anira had started to lessen their input in her plans.
Of course, if she ever came and wanted to consult with them about something, they happily helped her out with it.
"What's your plan, Fennel?" Anira curiously asked the Doctor, who was silently listening to their chat.
"I have to stay in the Neon City for the next few weeks," She answered with a smile. "Also, I will be there at the Indigo Conference to cheer for the two of you. Juniper plans on coming as well."
"Awesome!" The Orayen Princess happily clapped her hands, and then teasingly grinned at Fennel, which made her a little nervous.
"Anira..."
"I talked to grandmother." The young girl nodded her head, and the dark-blue-haired girl expectantly and nervously looked at her. "She has invited you to work under her from the next month."
"Really?!"
Seeing how enthusiastic Fennel was about the prospect of working under the famous Grisha Orayen, everyone at the table could not help their smiles.
She truly idolised Aizen and Anira's grandmother, and the Orayen Queen could even be called her hero and inspiration.
Last night, she had requested Anira to ask if their Grandmother had any spot for an Assistant vacant, and luckily for her, there was a spot available at the Blanc Laboratory.
"What about you guys? Where are you headed next?" Fennel asked once Misty joined them at the table after taking a bath.
"We are going to train our Pokemon in the Desert for the next week, and then we will head to Saffron City. Even though we have eight Gym Badges now, we are still going to challenge the Psychic, Grass, Rock, and Ground Gyms to collect all twelve badges available." Leaf informed her of their plan.
"So, Saffron, Celadon, Pewter, and Viridian." Fennel nodded her head. "Rushing them up?"
"Yes." The girl from Pallet Town nodded her head. "We will collect them as soon as possible and then spend the following months preparing for the Indigo Conference."
"That's good..."
Aizen and Sabrina excused themselves from the table, letting the girls talk, and the two headed into his room where they both meditated together.
They were so focused on their training that it was only after his wristwatch buzzed that they opened their eyes and realised that it was already lunchtime.
"Riley?" Sabrina caught the name of the person who had sent Aizen a message, and he nodded to her as he read it.
Sabrina stayed silent as she watched the frown on his face, and when he sighed and met her eyes, she slightly tilted her head.
He smiled at how cute she looked and planted a kiss on his cheek, which made her even more curious.
Someone broke into Pokelantis. They destroyed the Tomb, and apparently, they were searching for something.
"The Orb?" Sabrina had read the stories about Pokelantis, and the Orb that the King possessed which he had used to capture a Ho-Oh.
"It's just a myth, but holds some truth as well. However, the Magical Orb isn't real." He smiled as he looked down and smiled at his Promise Ball.
"Oh..." Sabrina understandably nodded her head. "You are worried about something."
"Riley and Bill are on their tail, heading towards Pokemopolis." He informed her that he was just worried about his Friends.
"They are exploring the Historical places," Sabrina said, and Aizen nodded her head. "Uncle Joseph plans on visiting Rota Kingdom tomorrow. He thinks that the Royal Family needs to be warned of potential danger S Cameron Palace could be their next target."
"They are not Royals anymore." Sabrina lightly said, and Aizen smiled at her.
Yes, the Royals of Rota had lost their Promise Ball, also the two Loyal Families that once used to serve them, the Moonheart and the Oak. The Promise Ball had been missing for centuries now, and both Moonheart and Oak Clans held no respect for them anymore.
The once Powerful Royal Family, which ruled both Kanto and Johto, was now only a shell of its former glory.
However, they still had a seat at the High Table which could not be taken away unless they lose their Powers.
"We will head to the Rota Kingdom after we drop off Anira, Leaf, and Misty at Pallet Town." He told her, and she nodded her head.
"Anira won't like it." She lightly said, knowing well that the Orayen Princess would be very upset if Aizen did not take her with them.
"I have already talked to her about it." He smiled and then stood up to stretch his arms.
Sabrina curiously tilted her head again.
"We have a deal." He just said and then leaned in to capture her lips, kissing her softly. "Let's go. I am starving."
