Chapter 12: Repetitive Action
[A/N: Sorry for being late. I'm busy with stocking up chapters on my other fanfic while I'm also busy with tests and I needed to review.

In a wide garden, there stood two people. They were none other than Naoya and Ryū. The former having a cocky smirk while the latter is smiling because his idol and most favorite Hashira does so.
Naoya raised his wooden katana, "If you admit defeat now, you won't suffer a strong beating from me. If you've proven to be strong, you can be my subordinate!"
Ryū had his wooden katana pointed down as both of his hands are on the hilt, "I refuse!"
Angered, Naoya dashed forward and attacked with an overhead slash. Ryū easily dodged it just by moving to the side and imitated a certain breath style as he raised his wooden katana upwards in an arc, almost hitting Naoya if he did not react fast enough.
'What? His speed and reflexes are faster than normal. Even an international level swordsman won't be that fast.' Naoya thought, but decided to beat him since he can even go faster. 'It doesn't matter, I can go even faster.'
Seeing that Ryū only stood there unmoving, he decided to move himself with more speed. He, once again, reached the smiling Ryū and was about to hit him. However, Ryū blocked it with ease which earned a shocked expression from everyone nearby.
Yes, there were audiences that were watching them. To be more exact, all Zen'in are watching, and even the servants are allowed to watch too.
The one with the most amazement was none other than the twins, Maki and Mai. Maki was impressed at his strength, while Mai...
'He's strong. He might be stronger than Naoya. I wish it was me who he chose.' Realizing what she said in her thoughts, she shook her head. 'No! No way! I'm already fine being a servant along with nee-san.'
The amazement of the audiences were broke by Ryū who pushed Naoya away and spoke, "So... You were saying something? I heard you were strong, so, show me all you've got!"
Ryū rushed forth at a speed that they know is impossible to reach. Well, impossible to other people except Itadori Yūji, Tomioka Yūgi, and Kamado Ryūjin, and there might be other breath style users too.
Naoya growled in anger, "Huh? What did you say?! I'll show you my true power!"
Naoya disappeared due to his speed and appeared right behind Ryū to attack him from behind. Unfortunately for Naoya, Ryū dodged along with landing a sword stroke from his left side since Ryū is left-handed. And being left-handed can disorientate an enemy when it comes to swordfight along with few advantages of that the left-handed swordsman have over right-handed ones.
The battle continued, Naoya kept picking up his pace, but Ryū always matches his. It makes Naoya think that Ryū knows how to use cursed energy to increase his strength, but he have no proof since Ryū didn't use his cursed energy and just hid it from prying eyes.
"You! If you surrender now, you will be earning much more money under me." Naoya presented a proposal.
Ryū retorted, "No thanks! My family is already one of the top 10 richest family in Japan. Also, I'm not greedy as you though I would be."
"What if I told you that there's a side of the world you haven't encountered?" Naoya asked.
Meanwhile, the whole family raised their eyebrow. They know that the kid can't be a sorcerer since his reserves of cursed energy is normal. That's what they know. Also, although they don't really like to give information of the Jujutsu world to normal people, it can sometimes catch a person's interest if phrased properly.
"Hm? I would outrightly ignore it." Ryū said nonchalantly, with a smile at that.
"You, damn brat! I'll teach you a thing or two!" Naoya said as he started using his cursed energy.
Meanwhile, Ryū stood there unmoving. 'So, that's how much his cursed energy, huh?'
Ryū prepare himself after Naoya disappeared in his vision. With his senses on alert, he turned around and block a strike which forced him to use more strength. However, Ryū is not using a breath style.
He's using Repetitive Action (RA). He's only using 10% of RA, which is the power of newbie level of a breath style user that is more than enough to be able to slay a demon that have devoured 50 humans.
Naoya tried again and attacked. He tried to pressure Ryū with his speed, but Ryū is still standing strong like an iron wall.
Naoya kept attacking, Ryū kept defending and only moved from his place whenever Naoya moved in burst to catch Ryū off guard. Unfortunately, Naoya can't catch him off guard because of Ryū's enhanced speed that he slowly raised just to match Naoya.
❲Coiling Dragon❳
Ryū moved at a faster speed and moved from side to side, imitating an eastern dragon. Naoya thought that Ryū was stupid to move in patterns, but when he tried to strike, his attack was easily parried. Ryū didn't waste any time and around Naoya while landing strikes.
❲Coiling Dragon❳ is a combo that he created from Breath of the Water style's ❲Flowing Dance❳ and ❲Constant Flux❳ combined without using the breath style itself. And the result was a powerful combo that can parry strong attacks to leave them open, even if just a little, and strike in quick succession using the footwork the 3rd form have.
"Is that all you've got? You know, you can't convince someone using brute force without enough strength to defeat the wrong person." Ryū smirked and provoked Naoya.
"Why you?!" ❲Projection Sorcery❳ Naoya managed to touch Ryū after he disappeared and reappeared behind Ryū.
Since a simple touch is not considered dangerous by his sense of smell, he wasn't able to react.
Suddenly, Ryū felt the world had changed.
'Did the world became faster? No, I can feel cursed technique being used...'
Suddenly, Ryū got hit by Naoya in his left shoulder. The strike was sure strong, but it wasn't enough for Ryū.
Ryū knows this cursed technique is Projection Sorcery since it was an inherited technique.
Ryū just observed and took a few punches and kicks in. And since Naoya needed to touch a target for it or them to split thei 1 second of movement in 24 movements.
However, it was a bad match for someone who was trained in Breath of the Water school. The main and number one motto of the school was about adapting at any position, advanyages, disadvantages, speed, power, and even timing.
The next second Naoya moved, Ryū also moved. He blocked most of the attacks and parried the other attacks. This made Naoya more angry and moved eve faster.
However, that was a hue mistake.
❲Full-powered Repetitive Action❳
When Naoya thought he won, Ryū disappeared in front of him and was striked from behind, knocking him out. As for how, it is because Ryū moved so fast that allowed him to move in one frame to dodge and another frame to move behind him, another for turning around, and another for a strike.
He only need one movement for each frames he used up. He only needed 4 frames!!! And that 4 frames were equivalent to 0.1667 second or 166.7 milliseconds.
All audience were all shocked and in awe of the display showed by Ryū. Projection Sorcery was countered by a person who is not a sorcerer (he's not recognized as one yet) with relative ease because he only have light bruises from all over his body after taking the strikes of Naoya, who was a grade 1 sorcerer who was strong enough to be promoted into special-grade.
Ryū walked towards Maki and Mai and said, "We won."
The two argued in unison, "What? No way! We didn't even helped!"
Ryū only grinned, "Don't sweat the small details."

Meanwhile, Naobito was thinking about what happened earlier.
"An abnormally strong child managed to adapt very quickly at the Projection Sorcery." He muttered out loud since no one is listening.
"He can be a strong member of Zen'in family if he have enough cursed energy reserves. It was also a pity that I don't have any daughter around his age." Naobito sighed as he drank his the wine in his gourd.

A day later, Ryū visited Maki for a few minutes, but he brought breads from Hinokami's Bakery and even gave the other servants some bread.
Today, Ryū is very busy because someone appeared at the bakery. It was Saori.
"Oh. Saori-san." Ryū stood there in front of the bakery's entrance as he looked at Saori.
"I...I want to order some bread." Saori said as she is stunned that Ryū is working at this bakery.
"Um... Do you want to sit? I mean, it's not like you need permission to sit down in the first place." Ryū said at the frozen Saori.
"Ah? Y-yes!" Saori sat down on one of the table.
"Alright, What kind of pastry do you need? We also serve tea and coffee too." Ryū spoke as if he have been working for a year now.
"I'll get some..."
