Chapter 3: THINK SOICHI, THINK!
*SCREECH*
The sound of the P.A system ( PUBLIC ADDRESS SYSTEM ) resounded throughout the whole school. Some were a little suprised by the sudden sound but the others didn't even paid attention to it. Like the teacher who just kept on writing on the board thinking. 'its probably just another earthquake drill.'
" Another earthquake drill?"
" Aww men... its the 2nd time this month"
" but it's so hot today."
The students were also the same and thought its another annoying earthquake drill. That they always do every month.
While Soichi didn't mind the noise and just kept on reading his book.
A voice then came out of the speaker.
" A-ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS, TEACHER'S AND JANITORS THIS IS NOT A DRILL. THERE'S BEEN A COMMOTION OUTSIDE THE SCHOOLS MAIN GATES. AN UNKNOWN DANGEROUS INCIDENT HAD OCCURRED. ITS ADVICE THAT THE TEACHERS LOCK THE DOORS FOR SAFETY AND WAIT FOR HELP TO ARRIVE! I REPEAT THIS IS NOT A DRILL! STU- NO! NO! GETAWAY FROM ME AHH!!!" The P.A System then got cut off leaving everyone in shock they tried to process what just happened but its too surreal. With cold sweat running through their backs. They looked at each other waiting for what will come. The teacher then immediately tried to ease the tension in the room.
" Now, now students i know that you are all shocked right now but let's take some deep breaths and calm dow- hey Sunada-kun get back to youre seat please. But Soichi didn't listen and immediately went out of the room. A few minutes went by and with one sentence all hell broke loose.
" i-i dont want to DIE! I'M OUT OF HERE!!"
After the man said his words he immediately run away opposite to the direction of Soichi.
Once the person then left the classroom leaving his schoolmates behind. They looked at the two people who just went away. And then.
" AHH!! QUICK LETS GO!"
" RUN!!"
" AHH!!"
" HELP!!"
Screams filled the room which lead to another and another. Like a Domino effect the whole room no the whole school went on an uproar. Every students and teachers exited their own rooms trying to escape the school. They only have one thing in mind and that's to get to safety. No more bullsh*t stuff like locking the doors and waiting for help because once they saw or hear something they fear. They run from it such as the nature of a human being no... Such as the nature of every living beings.
Back to Soichi who's now running through the hallway while thinking of his next plan.
'ok calmdown and think. Something happened in you're school. Now cross some stuff that wouldn't make sense. Would a terrorist group attack the whole school? No its impossible this school has good reputation, now what if they were still a terrorist group then you would have saw them as they come to you're room saying you're all hostages or heard gun shots from the school the announcer even manage to send us a message so they either made a mistake or they're just dumb. So what if it's a crazy serial killer? Could that work? No if it is one then he wouldn't bother attacking the announcer and just kill as many people as posible. Then what about a sudden fire happened? Chemical spills? No and no if it did happened then the fire alarm should have been turned on. F*ck! Ok enough of that first things first is to find a weapon second find a safe place to hide or to assess the situation and third is to stay away from groups of people they will only slow you down and create troubles later.
While he was running and thinking he noticed that he was near the sports storage room so he opened the door and went inside. What laid before him were different sports equipment ranging from balls to metal bats. Without stopping he immediately grabbed a metal baseball bat and 2 bokken ( IT MEANS WOODEN SWORD.) and also a piece of rope tying the rope in his back along with the 2 bokken he gripped his metal baseball bat hard and continued running.
'Ok first part is done now for a safe place to think.'
He then suddenly heard loud screams and loud footsteps. People were pushing each other just to get down the stairs some of them even hurting the ones thats in the front or just blocking their way its pure pandemonium. The whole school were filled with screams and cries of student's and teachers.
' Sh*t! I knew it! Ok think, Soichi, Think! The teachers faculty's a no go the main entrance and lower floors a no go too all of those places are going to be swarming with people! I need a place to think!... The roof yeah! Ill barricade it for security and assess whats happening.' he picked up his pace and went to the direction of the school roof.
But on his way he encountered something strange a student just like him was slowly walking? With the running noise that he was making the student then turned towards Soichi's direction and what he saw completely stupefied him. Hes skin is gray he had bite marks all over his body and his eyes were all white theres also the green bulging veins visible inside of him.
Holy sh*t is what Soichi thought looking at the figure before him. ' Bite marks check, a pale grey skin check, life less white eyes check yep he's a f*cking zombie.' without hesitating for a second he used his metal baseball bat to smash the zombies head into big chunks.
*SPLATTER*
Parts of his brains, and blood littered the hallway. Soichi gave one last look at the dead corpes on the ground without remorse and saw green blood oozing out of its body.
" So it's a zombie apocalypse huh *sigh* this world is F*cked."
He then immediately went ahead to the roof where he encountered 2 more zombie's that immediately got their head smashed. Once he arrived he blocked the doors that can be opened by pulling or pushing them with metal pipes laying around the vicinity. Getting a quick breather he took a look around the scene below him.
