Chapter 2: The Yue Family
Inside the mansion, the two guys walked through the hall to the office. Their father spent most of his time in his office. Nobody could enter the office without his permission. Andy Yue knocked and the two stood in front waiting for their father.
The door opened. they went inside. A figure stood in front of them in a black mandarin suit and black glasses. His face was calm but his aura was unfathomable and it immersed a sense of fear in the hearts of the men who faced him.
This man was Jason Yue, Master of the Yue family . The whole corporate circle of china feared him. A man who you will consider a hundred times before crossing him 'cause those who took a step against him and the Yue family are all lying in their graves.
Even Sonny Yue his eldest son and the probable future heir of the family somewhat feared him. But Andy stood in front of him Calm without any expression having a similar temperament.
Jason Yue hugged Andy Yue. It was evident that this man was waiting for his son to return. His eyes were wet and he in a low voice said "you are back home at last, I missed you my son" .
Sonny was surprised seeing his father in tears. He understood but chose to keep his mouth shut.
For a man whom the whole country fears and respects and even his family members think him cold- hearted, It was somewhat unnatural of Jason Yue.
Even Andy Yue was surprised. He said "Don't worry father, I have decided to stay here".
Jason Yue was filled with a unexplainable happiness. He asked sonny to give them a moment of privacy.
Sonny obeyed and went out.
Jason Yue asked "so, you have studied five years, now you have to do a 1 year of internship to get the bachelors degree in medicine , what do plan to do now ? join a hospital as an intern . I know you wanted to study Orthopaedic ..."
Andy Yue interrupted him and said, "yeah I want to but not western medicine , I'll Study Traditional Chinese Medicine" .
Jason Yue was happy to hear but he frowned and said, "I respect your decision but I personally wanted you to practice martial arts and Taoism".
"I know your concern but you know grandfather taught me his skills . I was taught Acupuncture and Moxibustion from childhood. Grandfather sacrified his skills for the Yue family", Andy Yue said with a sad face.
It was true. Chenfeng Yue was a rare talent in Traditional Chinese Medicine and he was a martial artist too. The TrueQi, which is unique only to martial artists was used by Chenfeng Yue in his Acupuncture methods which was his reason for his precision. But the genius sacrifced his talent for his family.
The Yue family as we know as the big giant was not the same four decades ago. There are four Big families in China, 'Yue', 'Chen', 'Li' and 'Tang'. four decades ago the strength of the four families were same and there was a fierce competition.
Then the Patriarch of the family requested his son to utilize his martial arts talent to practice weapon refining. He obeyed and within five years he became a master of weapon refining.
He provided many powerful weapons infused with true Qi, Which seemed magical to the ordinary eyes, to the military. The various division of the army had martial arts experts who needed weapons. The Yue Family fulfilled the demands. As a result the family got recognition in the military circles and they heavily invested in Munitions. They got a step up .
In a world where strength is the ultimate weapon. the Yue family flourished.
Chenfeng Yue became a famous persona and more powerful . None of the Families except the Yue family had a martial arts expert which made them a force to be rekoned with. His martial Arts was passed on to his son Jason Yue who headed the Yue family to a new direction and Today the Yue family had invested in every field and exceeded . Technology, Automobiles, munitions, aerospace, and many more. Except Pharmaceuticals ,as Chenfeng Yue failed to pass his Medical talent to anybody except his grandson Andy.
Andy Yue also knew this so he was determined to make a name for himself in Traditional Chinese Medicine and spread the influence of Yue family in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
Jason Yue, seeing his son's determination was surprised. He said, "Son, I know you can do this but to become a genius like your grandfather you have you improve your cultivation in martial arts".
Andy Yue nodded and said, "I started practicing. I am in the Qi practicing stage. i will improve my cultivation as fast as possible". Jason was happy to seeing his son's determination for martial arts. Jason Yue knows that the family needs At least one high level martial artist and he thinks Andy can become one.
"okay , Me and Your Grandfather will train you, Don't worry, we'll help you break through". Andy Yue refused and said, "No. I will practice myself. Nature is the Best teacher". Jason Yue agreed. He knows that a self taught martial artist always had better combat effectiveness.
Andy Yue then met with his mother Maura Yue and they had a chat. After so many years the whole family was together.
