Chapter 70: Chapter 70 Injection

"Looks like i have to give Hawkeye and Blonsky some thank you gifts," Andrew chuckled.

He knew that every time Blonsky joined the action, the Black Widows' performance would improve. There was no denying it; he was just too fearsome.

Barton urgently called out through the communicator, "When can we expect the Quinjet? I can only hold out for three minutes at most."

Nick Fury responded, "It's on way, Mr. Three Minutes."

"..."

Hawkeye was left speechless, wondering if he should stage a strike right then and there.

As Hawkeye made his escape, Abomination No. 2 recovered from the electric shock, seething with fury. He charged towards Wolverine, whose face was filled with violent intent, ready for a fierce showdown. Today seemed like a perfect day for a fight.

Wolverine was never one to back down from a challenge. "Come on, you monster."

Meanwhile, the Green Goblin, Norman, piloted his black-smoky aircraft to provoke Abomination No. 3. The third abomination roared and hurled a lamp post at Norman.

Norman skillfully dodged the attack and retaliated by launching a miniature missile towards Abomination No. 3. With a loud bang, the abomination was pushed back a step, but remained unharmed and even angrier.

"The defense power is about on par with the Hulk's, which is rather troublesome," Norman grumbled, drawing an expensive energy gun and firing at Abomination No. 3. The abomination received a significant wound on his shoulder, but only grew angrier. He used a car door as a makeshift shield.

"Do you think that will help, you fool?" Norman smirked, bombarding Abomination No. 3 with pumpkin bombs.

Boom, boom, the abomination was knocked off the building by the explosions, causing the ground to shake.

As debris and flames spread, terrified residents screamed from inside the building. Unfortunate ones lost their lives in the chaos.

Norman showed no concern for the civilians as he relentlessly fired at the abomination. His frustration grew as he realized that the abomination possessed the same self-healing ability as the Hulk, making it difficult to defeat him quickly.

"Green Goblins will always be Green Goblins; they'll never become true superheroes," Andrew observed, shaking his head.

Real superheroes would never resort to indiscriminate attacks like this. The Hulk, in particular, wasn't a genuine superhero; he simply loved to fight.

Nonetheless, Andrew didn't mind the Green Goblin's behavior too much, as it provided an opportunity for the Black Widows to persuade people to sign soul contracts.

Blonsky chased after Hawkeye, No. 2 Abomination battled Wolverine, No. 3 Abomination was pinned down by Norman, and No. 4 and 5 Abominations continued their slaughter of soldiers and agents.

The soldiers and agents were incredibly brave, but unfortunately, they couldn't match the abominations' might. Their valiant efforts only served to delay the inevitable.

Witnessing this, Frank and Howard intervened, stopping the two abominations from causing further havoc. Andrew didn't object; he didn't mind sacrificing a few souls, as he had grander plans in motion.

Howard, wielding an ax in one hand and a shield in the other, skillfully balanced offense and defense, managing to restrain Abomination No. 4.

As for Frank, he embraced an all-out offensive approach, relying on powerful firepower to suppress Abomination No. 5. The fifth abomination clenched his teeth in anger, taunting Frank about his limited ammunition. "When you run out of shells, I'll tear you to pieces."

With the assistance of their suits, the soldiers and agents finally breathed a sigh of relief. They chose to stay and support Howard and Frank.

At SHIELD headquarters, Maria Hill sighed, "Thankfully, the Knights of Peace are here; otherwise, many lives would have been lost."

"The actions of the Peace Knights are rather peculiar. It's hard to understand why they only save certain people and not others," Maria pondered.

Nick Fury shared, "Coulson has been investigating their intelligence, but we haven't uncovered anything substantial. It's almost as if they come from another world."

Continuing, Nick Fury expressed growing concern, "More importantly, their robots are increasing in numbers and strength, posing a significant danger. Perhaps, one day, they might even pose a threat to the world."

Hill was aware of Nick Fury's severe paranoia resurfacing.

"Why haven't the fighter jets arrived? Do you want to face a court-martial?" General Ross angrily shouted through the communicator, expressing his desire to obliterate the abominations with large-scale missiles.

Upon hearing this, Betty exclaimed, "Dad, there are still many people down there."

General Ross remained resolute, saying, "If we don't kill those monsters, more people will die. Those so-called superheroes can't stop them at all."

"It can't be like this; no one should die because of me," Dr. Banner declared, looking at the tragic situation below. He clenched his teeth and took a blood tube from his arm, apologizing to Betty.

"Bruce," Betty whispered, understanding what Dr. Banner was about to do. Tears filled her eyes, but she didn't stop him. Only Hulk could save everyone now.

"For the past five years, I've wanted to get rid of the Hulk. I never imagined that today, I'd willingly transform into the Hulk. It seems like this is my destiny," Dr. Banner sighed, injecting the blood back into his body. This blood tube was his originally, and he didn't need any special assistance.

Soon, the blood took effect, and Dr. Banner's body rapidly grew larger and turned green. He roared in pain and leaped from the tailgate. Betty shouted, but General Ross grabbed her.

Abomination No. 4 was about to attack Howard, but suddenly, a heavy object fell from the sky, creating a massive crater.

Abomination No. 4 couldn't help but look towards the pit. A big green hand emerged from the hole, and then a big green man climbed out.

It was a climb, not a leap.

"I'm still in control?" Dr. Banner observed his large hand with excitement. He hadn't lost control this time; although his body had grown bigger and greener, he was still the same Banner.

"Banner, you're still in there," Andrew said, shaking his head, not very optimistic about Dr. Banner. The combination of Banner's intelligence and Hulk's strength might sound perfect, but in reality, it wasn't that effective.

"I wonder if Dr. Banner can change back into human form," Andrew mused, touching his chin. It would be interesting if Dr. Banner turned out like the case in Avengers IV.

Seeing 'Hulk' appear, Nick Fury and others couldn't help but smile. With Hulk's presence, they expected those abominations to be dealt with.

However, Maria Hill was suspicious. "Boss, something feels off about this Hulk. The original Hulk is powerful and imposing, but this one seems more like a simple, green man. The muscles on his body aren't as fierce as the Hulk's."

"Huh?" Nick Fury blinked, feeling an ominous premonition rising.

"Hulk?" No. 4 was ecstatic to see Hulk and immediately abandoned Howard, rushing towards him. But at that moment, a tall figure charged from the side, knocking No. 4 into the air. The figure then roared, "Hulk is mine."

The person who came to challenge the Hulk was none other than the despised Captain Blonsky. He was full of rage towards Hulk and immediately charged forward without hesitation.
