Aiden POV
I am looking over at the mountain that is connected to Olympus.
Mount Olympus is supposed to be home to one of the most powerful pantheons on Earth.
The entrance to it is at the tip for some reason.
Jean was staying in the fortress since I managed to get her to agree to stay back in the fortress although she did rage a bit she understood that I needed to clear some of them out before she could help me.
I am nervous though I was going to go on a killing spree on gods this needs to be done if I want them to not f#ck with me again or at least mitigate it enough to a manageable level
"I am being too optimistic about this," I said to myself knowing that I am more or less just hoping for the best from this.
One benefit I can see coming out of this is the spoils that I will take from them.
I am hoping I can get some more Adamantine and any sort of knowledge that may be in Olympus.
I got ready to force open the portal open as any being powerful enough in magic can break in although this is just for keeping the connection to the Earth open since if they tried to put some certain types of wards it could potentially disrupt that connection and sealed them inside for a long time until it stabilized by itself. That doesn't mean they left it defenseless as I could see some wards
They wouldn't be trapped there as the gods from there more or less are of the Earth as Gaea is related to them she can open a portal over for them that would leaver them even weaker than ever before if they crossover. If I can get my hands on their equipment I may be able to rip away their domains.
One downside of having Zenith is that I already have domains even though I am not a god, yet. The domains I got belonged to Neptune and when I killed Aphrodite I didn't get her domains thankfully. If I killed Zeus and got his divine weapon and fused it with Zenith, it won't give me the full power until I become a god.
The issue with this is that the Olympians depend on faith and that is a weak source of power in any reality when it comes to gods as I know Cyttorak was one until he was forced to become a demonic god and ruler of the crimson dimension. I don't want to be altered by other people in any way.
I was distracted from my thoughts when I saw someone coming out of the portal it was a god.
"We know you are watching fateless one," he said
"I am Dinias god of hatred you will face me if you want to enter Olympus," he said as even now I could feel considerable power coming from him understandable since his domain is hatred.
I went over to him as I summoned Zenith and my armor. The new armor I am hoping can handle taking hits from them and if it can't I still have the modified Mandarin armor to fall back on in case of emergency.
I was on him in a few moments as I was holding myself back in case the gods were watching me to try and find anything to their advantage. He brought out a red looking leaf blade shape sword as he tried to slash at me as I quickly dodge his attack and lightly kick him back a few meters as he grunted in pain as he forced himself to stop as the ground underneath him moved around his feet as they dug into the ground.
The reason I am holding back is that I want to get some more experience fighting as I know that even if I have the strength and speed advantage if go up against an enemy that is just as strong and just as fast but more skilled I am screwed and I don't want to rely on my adaptation too much against gods since it would take a while to adapt against anything from them like poison or something like that. I will abuse it later though.
"I WILL KILL YOU AND PROVE I AM WORTHY TO BE AN OLYMPIAN," He yelled out like an idiot as he began to slash at me wildly.
This was getting sadder every moment as I just dodged every attack coming from him and just went in for the kill as chopped his head off and his body began to disappear. I went through some his memories as he died and saw one that made me want to facepalm.
("They didn't even put any protections to prevent other beings aside from humans from being able to enter since they think that no one would ever dare to attack them directly") I was in awe at their sheer arrogance or stupidity probably both at this point.
I began to sense some soul energy leaving this pathetic excuse of a god.
"What have they done," I said in slight horror when my suspicions were proven correct.
They are turning human souls into power. Imagine the souls being combined into a candle and each time they were used they would be lit for a short time as it lasted until the candle was gone. They are destroying souls for power ripping whatever made them human until it was just an empty soul with no memories or feelings turning them into pure souls like a baby.
Empty souls are not as powerful as pure-hearted souls since they are conscious of their actions and the quality of it improves over time and why a lot of evil beings want to corrupt pure-hearted individuals empty souls just have the size but not the quality of one.
"I am going to kill all of them," I said in rage at what they were doing to the souls and if Hades is actually in on it, I am coming for him as well
