Chapter 16: Just another normal day
We all sat around and talked for a while.
"Y/n, what is our group's name?" Seonghwa asked.
"What?" I asked.
"What's our group name?" He asked, again.
"Why do you ask me out of the blue?"
"Just wanted to know your knowledge." He said.
"Uh... um... I know it starts with the letter 'A'. But.. I don't remember the rest." I said, scratching the back of my neck.
"What is the name of their group?" I bent near Hana and whispered.
"You are friends with them, but don't remember their group name. You're such a great friend." She said and giggled.
"Whatever. Just tell."
"Astro is their group name." She whispered.
"Got it!" I said. They all looked at me.
"Your group name is... Astro." I said, without hesitating. They all looked at me and smiled.
"Am I right?" I looked at them, waiting for an answer.
San came over to me and hugged me and then pulled my ear.
"Ahhh! Leave my ear!" I said.
"Our group's name is NOT Astro. Our group's name is ATEEZ." He said and pulled my ear and took me to the other members and put me in between them.
"Yah! It wasn't my fault. Hana told me the wrong name."
"If she said, where was your common sense?" Seonghwa asked.
"Now leave me!" I said and tried getting up, but they all were squishing me and stopping me from getting up.
The others were laughing.
"I will not spare you, Hana. I'll have my time too." I said and glared at her.
I sat there, stuck in between the boys.
"Is there a group named Astro?" I asked Yunho as he was the closest to me.
"Yeah." He said and giggled.
"Yah, I don't know. I never gave importance to music." I said.
"Is there any idol or actor you know or like?" He asked.
"Hm... let's see. I don't know many people in the K-pop area, except you guys and Taehyung's group. As an actor, I love Park Seo Jun and Park Bo Gum. They're so cute."
"At least you know this much." Seonghwa teased.
"Shut up!" I said hit his arm.
"Anyone else?" Yeosang asked.
"I am actually friends with... Kai and Taeyong." I whispered to him. Hana doesn't know yet. He nodded.
"Noona, we're bored," Taehyun said.
"Yeah noona. Are there any games we can play?" Soobin asked.
"You'll find them in the last cupboard in that room," I said pointing at the room.
"Thank you noona." They said and headed to the room, along with Beomgyu.
"So, what's for lunch?" Mingi asked.
"I'm not making food for 15 people. San, go buy food." I said and rested my head on Hongjoong who sat on the other side of me.
"Why me?" He whined.
"This is your punishment," I said and looked at him.
"Seonghwa also gets the punishment then." He said, pointing at him.
"He did nothing. Look at him, already exhausted. He's so cute." I said and pinched his cheeks.
"Take Hana if you want. She's also part of it." I said.
"Why do you involve me all of a sudden?" She asked.
"You were the one who told me the wrong group's name. If you both don't go now, I won't let you both enter again." I said and smiled at them. They got pissed off and left.
We all laughed as they looked mad.
I got up from there. Finally, I could breathe. I got myself a drink and for the others too.
It was dead silent.
"Why are you all quiet?" Mingi asked.
"What time is it?" I asked.
"Gonna be 10:00 am." He said.
"Shit! I'm gonna be late." I said and hurried to my room.
"Where?" They all asked.
"To work...?" I ignored the other questions and ran to my room.
I looked through my closet and finally got the dress.
I took my car keys and my phone.
"Y/n, you don't need to work today," Wooyoung said.
"I need to. If not, I can't prove myself. Ok, bye. See you guys later." I headed out in a hurry. I got in and drove as fast as I could.
I finally reached by 10:30. I got in and headed to the manager's room.
"I'm sorry..... I'm late." I said catching my breath.
"Y/n... I thought you won't be coming today." He said.
"Anyways, as you are here, your work today is to check these files and go through them. And discuss with Taehyung about the meeting dates and timings. And also, they are having a tour next month. Booking and arranging to be done to all. Once done, inform me, we'll pay." He said.
I smiled and took all the files and important things and left from there.
I got into a room and kept all of them down and sighed. I sat down and took out a file and started my work.
---after an hour---
I completed only three files in an hour. There was still more to go.
I heard a knock at the door.
"Come in," I said from my seat.
"Hey, are you busy?" I looked up at the voice.
It was Taehyung.
"Kinda. Take a seat." I said and he sat opposite me. I got back into the file.
"Anything I can do for you?" I asked without looking at him. He didn't reply to anything.
I looked at him and he was smiling at me.
"What?" I asked.
"You are so into your work, that you don't have time to look at me and talk."
"Nothing like that. I have to complete these by today. I'm sorry if it hurt you." I said.
"No, no. Don't apologize. It happens. Is there any help I can do?" He asked.
"Um... The manager asked me to discuss the date and timings of a meeting. I guess you are told about it." I looked at him for an answer. He nodded his head.
"As you are here, how about we finish that off first?" He agreed and I took out the sheet and made sure the day is clear without any other schedule.
---after another 1 hour---
Finally, it got over!
"Wanna grab coffee?" He asked. I nodded and got up but tripped.
Thank god Taehyung held me before I could hit myself. My legs were dead by sitting there for more than 2 hours.
"Are you ok? Do you need any help?"
"No, thanks. You go ahead, I'll join you." And he left.
I waited till I could feel my legs. I walked to the cafeteria and saw Taehyung waiting at a table with two coffees.
I joined him and smiled and sipped on my coffee. I felt refreshed.
We walked wherever our legs took and talked on our way. We finally ended up at the terrace. It was a bit shocking, how, but I'm glad I came here.
The view was really wonderful and breathtaking. The scorching sun, the light blue sky, white clouds, birds flying in a flock, the fresh air, and coffee. The best thing ever.
"It's so peaceful here," I said.
"I like this spot too. Whenever I feel stressed or pressured, I stay here for a while, and then I get relaxed." Taehyung said.
"A way to bond with nature," I said and sipped on coffee. He smiled and sipped on his coffee.
We kept admiring the beautiful scenery in front of us that we didn't see at the time.
