Chapter 1: Prologue : Everything start with the ending of something
In Australia live a men named Jacob Martin, his parents decided to leave the US when he was 3 years old. because of that he don't remember much of his life there, his memories are hazy, blurry and to few in number to sort something out if it.
With a fresh start his parents quickly found jobs and a house big enough for their small family. He was a single child, his parents didn't want other children because being a parent is a difficult job and didn't want to mess up.
He grew up as a sweet child, always attending school without fail, never throwing tantrum for stupid thing. He was not the brightest student but he was always doing his best to have good grades.
He loved animal, all of them, he would often feed street cats and dogs, separately obviously. He loved them so much that when he began to attend High-School he made the choice to never eat meat again.
During his years of High-School, his personality changed a lot, it began by small thing like giving a lot of attention as to not waste electricity or water, not use the bus but his bike to go wherever he need to go. And this happenings grew with the passing years. He also become assistant to a vet in his town as a part-time job. He also become a member of a association that save animal from the street, that take care of them until they are adopted
When he finished High-School, he wanted to continue his study and be a vet in the future. For that purpose he needed to leave town to attend his college much to his and his parents sadness.
His life didn't change much, the only his heart to finish his study and go back.
Years pass and he finish his college and get his degree.
He didn't get to work or to continue working with the association during his college years, so this was one of the first thing he did when he went back to his home town. Much to his sadness, the vet he worked for closed during his college years. He really wanted to work here again but he can't reverse thing so he rented the place and opened his own.
While working, he also helped at the association and adopted a bunch of pets for them to give life to his new home he brought.
The 3 years after he moved where very sad and panful for him. His mother felt sick, very sick and doctors said she was not surviving the sickness but they could only make it as painless as possible.
These years made him focus on one and single thing, helping his mother as much he could.
He stopped everything else, nor did he start dating nor did he hanged out with friends. At the end of the third year, his mother died in her sleep, he had mixed feeling about that. On one hand, his mother didn't have to suffer while dying but on the other hand she was gone.
His father handled the death of her wife a lot worse that his son, he fell into depression and quit his job, his son helped him like he helped his mother, with all his heart and that made him felt warm in his darkest moment.
His father died a couple of years after his mother because of a lot of emotional struggle. He didn't wanted to eat nor did he want to go out if his house. This took his health away slowly.
After the loss of both of his parent, Jacob focused on his job and nothing else. He didn't wanted to date because not a lot of people could understand his life until now and he didn't now if he was not also a little broken inside.
Years pass like that without him changing anything in his life. His pets and job let him get pass the sadness and loneliness of his life until now. At the age of 35, he began to go see people again and to reconnect with his friends.
After some time everything returned to normal. But love was something that never came knock a his door. So he watched films that he never got to watch before during his free time, he was a big fan of Disney because of all the happy ending.
When the date of his 45th birthday came nobody could found him, his friends call the police to signal his disappearance and start search. A decade pass and nobody can find him on the continent. The police came to the conclusion that he run of to another country to start anew after everything that happened.
But his friends buyed none of this. Why would he leave after he got better and he life was in order ? Why leaving without his pets, god knows how much he loved them ? Why would he leave without taking his money or a single change of close ?
