Chapter 4: Ready to be sent
Lydia is surprised to see that this world is similar to her own, everything is the same, but she's even more surprised to discover that it's more advanced.
She was not only an assassin, but she was also a hacker and a lot more.
In the middle of her work, she hacks all the CCTV cameras at the mansion without anyone realizing it. Within 10 minutes, she has control over every camera in the house. Computer in hand, she carefully studies it.
Just sitting for a while causes Lydia's back to hurt. "Ouch, it hurts," she says. It makes sense since she just woke up. She looks carefully at each CCTV footage in front of her, she even sees a camera in front of a door that didn't open, she was intrigued.
Again, she carefully surveys the house, making sure she knows how everything works.
Tap, tap tap tap tap
Her tapping on the keyboard in the room could be heard all along, but nobody knows what she was doing. After she finished her work, she put down the computer but left it on so the videos could download.
Getting up, she walked out of her room. She looks to her right and left, but no one is there.
'If I remember correctly, there should be a camera around here that is right in front of my room.'
In order not to cause suspicion, she pretends she was doing nothing, but when she found the camera, she headed in the opposite direction, and there she found the stairs. A White Glamour Spiral Staircase was down below the stairs. She descended the stairs and got to the second floor. She descended again to get back to the first floor.
She was suddenly approached by a maid who asked, "What are you doing here, oh... I forgot you were the owner of this mansion."
Another maid said, "the madam, my ass, can't even manage to eat"
Lydia stood there while she was remembering some memories.
"If I am right, you pushed me down the stairs last year and you said I attempted suicide."
Suddenly a voice from behind Lydia said mockingly," So what, when the master heard that, instead of protecting yourself, you agreed you tried to commit suicide."
It was exactly the response Lydia has been waiting for.
There was a female that looked similar to Lydia, Samantha Rogers, the butler.
"Apparently, as the butler, you're supposed to bow your head when you see me," Lydia said
"Did you hear that, she asked me to bow? I'm the future mistress of this house, so you better go back to your room without causing trouble,"
" Hahaha, did you hear that, she said she's the future mistress of this house, I mean look at that, You know very well that I'm the madam so you said you will be the future mistress, At least I like that, you know very well how to not cross the line in front of me, well I don't have time for your chatterbox mouth, see you later, hater"
As she walked up the stairs back to her room, she opens the door to see that the videos were already downloaded and were ready to be sent.
