Chapter 4: CH004 The Race
Doc POV
What was I thinking, challenging a freaking alien to a race. I guess the want for another race was still inside me, and this was probably the best opportunity to have the best race ever. Moving back to town I noticed a massive train of cars and trucks in the distance coming towards the us at a fast pace, sheriff is going to have a heart attack. Everyone was lined up along the road and their jaws dropped as they came closer and closer. The amount of cars coming was more then we got in an entire year, and they all seemed to be construction workers.
We heard a laugh behind us and we all turned around. And behind us was Max laughing at all our reactions.
"I hope you don't mind me setting up shop here but I've decided I really like the place and wish to stay, and also Sally, I think your going to be a bit busy for awhile… hahahaha!"
That day the construction workers set up some tents for those that couldn't fit into the cozy cone and started to level the landscape in preparation for tomorrow to start building Max's place.
Max's POV
Watching everyone freak out was amazing especially Sally. I had spent a little fortune to have these guys come all the way out here to make my new home. I had decided I would make a two story building.
The first floor a shop as an excuse to say where my money is coming from as god didn't tell me where the money was actually coming from, I hadn't made a plan yet of what I was going to sell. And at the back of the store on the first floor was a car elevator that led up and into my home which would be like a modern and luxury apartment that you see in high-rises.
With that out of the way I spent the next few hours going over with the foreman of how I wanted the place to look.
After the plans where made I still had around 4 million dollars left to spend before the end of the month so I decided to invest a million in both Dinico and Rusteze, and save the last 2 million for other stuff.
Driving around the town I watched as a lot of the other construction workers not on shift milling about and talking to Flo and famine and her cafe, Luigi and Guido were also selling the construction workers new tires and trying to get them in whitewalls for some reason.
I called it a day and headed back to my room at the cozy cone. The next morning I would be racing doc on his home turf
*Next Day*
7:45 Race morning
I was down on the dirt track sitting at the rope attached to tires that marked the starting line. I had been here since 7 just thinking to myself.
Doc had pulled up beside me and said he was going to do a few practice laps to get back into it. Watching him I noticed he was doing around 170 mp/h witch was pretty good for an old timer like him specially since McQueen could only get up to 195 on the sim and that's not fully under control, so I had a thought that he was holding back atm.
I noticed some movement of to the side of the track and saw Guido and Luigi but I thought it was best to let them be for now.
Doc pulled up next to me.
"So, one lap, no contact and if you go of course, automatic disqualification." Doc gave me a nod. "Also should we ask our spy's to make this race official."
Doc - "I was just about to say the same thing."
Luigi and Guido both came out and for the first time ever they didn't faint in front of me.
"Looks like you two are getting better every time I talk to you."
Luigi - "well me must sea the GREAT FERRARI in action right Guido."
Guido just nodded in agreement.
"Well then you don't mind starting us off then."
Guido immediately pulled out a checkered flag from who knows where and positioned himself between me and doc. And just like the movies and what every car movie lover remembers says three words in Italian.
"PRONTI, PARTENZA, VIA!!"
And we were off. I shot forward and gained the lead due to my speed, but surprisingly doc was not far behind. As we got to the first turn I noticed him trying to stay as close as he could to me in order to overtake but I wouldn't let him so easily.
After the first turn and into the straightaway I gained a little room in preparation for the second turn where McQueen would go sliding and of the edge into the field of cactus below.
As we got closer I eased of accelerating and started my turn into the drift and then there he was. My brief moment of slowing down slowed doc to catch up and take the inside line and pull in front of me and enter a controlled drift. It was just like the movies. Everything slowed down and you could see as he performed the most awesome and inspiring drift ever.
POP!!
The next thing I knew was that docs back tire had blown and he went skidding and spinning of the track. Which meant I won as he went out of bounds however, I didn't want to win against him like this.
I drove over to him and thankfully he wasn't hurt at all, just a bit dizzy if anything.
"I guess you old body's trying to tell you something"
Doc - "haha, very funny" (Cue sarcasm laughing) "guess you were always going to win that race."
"How about this, we call it a draw and I'll show you one more of my secrets, and you still train me. I didn't only do this race to get you to teach me, I also want to gain your trust if I'm going to be living here."
Luigi by this time had gone and gotten Mater and started to tow him to Luigi's shop for a new tire. And I went to go and check on how my new house was coming along.

Next time on transformers in cars we see our small town hero become whatever he wants to be and more.
Also now that we are caught up with where SpartanWarGod left us too I hope to keep everyone entertained with how the story continues thank you.
