Chapter 143: Chapter 141

Inside the station, Prof sat with his legs crossed in front of an officer in-charge. This is the second time for the both of them to meet each other.

Beside Prof sat Chess who was keeping his head low all this time.

The officer had a suspicious look on his face while closely observing Prof. He then glanced at the familiar woman across the table who had her head lowered. The officer released a heavy sigh before flipping the paper on his desk.

There was really nothing on the paper, but he just did that to minimize the awkwardness. He then started speaking after clearing his throat.

"Well, mister…" he trailed his words off, glancing at Prof to ask him his name. However, Prof just smiled in response, not willing to give his name away.

The officer cleared his throat once again.

"So, Professor… this is your student as well?" he asked, pertaining to Chess.
