Chapter 104: Nightmare

Even though questions that needed urgent answers were still boiling inside Emma's heart, she knew no one could give her a more satisfactory answer than her grandmother, so she decided to wait till when she gets home on Friday to ask all the questions that have been silently eating her up.

Leo and Emma talked about different types of topics for a while till they finally fell asleep in each other's arms. In the early hours of the morning, Emma woke up with a start, sweating profusely and looking wide-eyed around her. She immediately started to panic when she saw the space beside her on the bed was empty and Leo was nowhere to be found.

"Where is Leo!?" Her heart was beating fast as she whispered to no one in particular. She wanted to stand up and go search for him, so she could inform him that he was in danger, this one, her grandma didn't see coming but realized she couldn't move from where she was sitting.
