Chapter 12: Third Quest and H.A.I.M
"J!!" yelled Tony as he got up but that was unnecessary.
Jarvis had already equipped Maya with mark 42 while Shotgun or Mark 40 was already in front of him ready to be equipped and no sooner did do so the mansion was hit by multiple missiles.
One of them hit Maya and buried her under the rubble as well as knocking her out and deactivating the suit.
Tony on the other had enough practice and time to dodge the missiles and the rubble but was still hit by one disabling flight temporarily.
"J come on talk to me"
" We...are..surr...by...6.....copp...Transfer complete. We are surrounded by 6 copters at 10, 12, 2, 4, 5, and 7 o'clock. The suit's flight system is down which I am rebooting. The weapon systems are now online."
"Good to hear, what about her?" asked Tony as he bought down 2 with repulsor beams from his hand and had to dodge a missile.
"Her current status is unknown as 'Jigsaw is offline'.Her last status was her being unconscious".
Tony destroyed another chopper this time with the unibeam.
"Sir, I suggest you take a deep breath."
"Shit"
The rubble under tony started slipping and his flight systems were still offline. He unceremoniously fell into the sea and was nearly buried after he got knocked out.
After The Iron Man fell the copters were ordered to retreat by their higherups. As they were retreating a figure rose from the sea causing them to be on guard but it simply flew away but they were completely erased by three 5m wide lasers.
Aron was about to chase after him but stopped surprising Pepper.
"Aron, what's wrong?" asked Pepper concerned.
Aron didn't answer for a moment but a part of him detached and turned into a small rocket and chased after tony.
"I got a quest from Zhyttya and someone that is needed to complete that mission is currently buried in the rubble below us and I just sent a part of me towards him that should keep him safe. And he is completely safe knocked out but safe" said Aron.
"Can you show me the quest?"
"Sure"

Pepper was having mixed feelings about all of this. On one hand, she was happy that Tony would be fine, She was both shocked and sad that he already had a child with another woman. She was also concerned about them and most of it was overshadowed by the alarm when she read the quest reward.
"To be completely honest I have half a mind to chase Tony and ignore the quest. Everything except the main quest is optional and I don't really understand the rewards," said Aron as he sounded like he was about to go full blast on the thrusters.
Pepper took a deep breath to calm herself.
"Then why did you stop?"
"...I wanted to know." came Aron's voice which was barely a whisper.
Pepper smiled.
"I understand you, Aron. While I also want to find him let's rescue him or her from the rubble and try and save your sibling. Tony is going to be fine you said so yourself."
"Got it. Should I create a piece of fake news showing his death?"
"Why?"
"That would give him a lot of freedom to figure out the guys behind all this nonsense".
Pepper sighed.
"Arrange for a press meet later. I will think of something."
"Mhm hum," said Aron as he hovered over the life sign he found underneath him and then fired off multiple lasers into the sea killing the Extremis soldiers that had survived from the first 3 copters to go down and then activated a tractor beam to collect the mark 42 with its current passenger.
"So where too?" asked Aron as he transformed into a car and
"Let's go to my old apartment"
A few hours later with Tony.
Tony woke up to Jarvis yelling 'SIR!' at max volume.
"What?! Where am I?"
"A mile outside Rosewood Tennesse, sir"
"WHAT? Jarvis, I need to go back! what about Pepper? Aron? or Maya and God! NOAH! I can't help them if I am stranded thousands of miles away! Whose plan was this?" Said Tony having a small panic attack.
"I am sorry sir, this was the only flight plan I had access to when the mansion went down," said Jarvis sounding a little confused.
"I might need to take a short nap soon, sir," added Jarvis as he felt most of his functions 'frozen'.
"Before you go can you tell me why isn't Aron talking?" asked Tony noticing the green in his field of view.
"Aron is not here sir a part of him merged with me on the way here."
"What do you mean a part of him? What's wrong with Aron?" asked Tony worried.
"Sir, I am afraid I will have to go now. I will see you in a few hours. The suit will now respond to your muscle movements and will obey your verbal commands." Said Jarvis as he crashed.
"J?" called out stark but there was no response. He sighed and took a step forward and fell face-first into the snow.
Tony groaned and learnt how to walk in the suit which wasn't that hard, either due to his genius or the suit actually adapting to him on the fly he wasn't sure.
"Contact Aron," said Tony hoping it would work and it did.
"FINALLY! thank Zhyttya you are fine! I don't think I could have lied to mom any longer" came the voice of Aron.
"Yeah, it's good to hear you too brat," Said Tony chuckling.
"Where are you? Are you safe? What happened?"
"...You are not going to like this" began Aron as he started talking about Killian and the Extremis and then about the attack and the quest.
"I agree with your choice. You NEED to know about your past no matter what it is. So where are you? Have you met Noah yet?"
"About that..."
