Chapter 35: Unknown burn
The unanswered questions were still roaring in her mind, she didn't know where she was, but she knew that now she had to go back, turning back she lad her way out of that glorious room,
her eyes fell on a man standing in an open kitchen when she was coming down the stairs, Anna frowned her eyes on her back which looked a little familiar, the man turned a little showing his side profile, and there he was her boss Zain Jung, her blood rushed through her body, as her heart made it's pace faster, mainly she was embarrassed
It was him AGAIN, once again he saw her in her vulnerable condition, she was ashamed to meet her eyes with him or to utter a word in explanation,
Anna gulped down her saliva and took steps further down, without making any noise, she was the queen of silence, while On the other hand, Zain wasn't even aware of her presence, she got herself out of that luxurious house without him knowing,

The next day•
"Come in!"
Zain who was sitting inside his office, spoke looking at the door as someone just knocked,
"Why did you called me?"
Anna stepped inside as she utters in her usual cold voice which holds no emotions, hearing Anna, Zain shoot his gaze up, and his eyes fell on that girl who ran away from his house yesterday, without any utterance,
*Flashback*
Zain came upstairs after making breakfast for him and Anna, he just wanted to have a chat with her, he wanted to ask her about everything, he wanted an answer to his every unanswered question, and now He was standing in front of the same room where he left Anna sleeping last night, gathering his courage he knocked on the door but what he got in reply was just silence,
He thought maybe she was still asleep Zain again knocked a little louder than before, but again there was nothing but silence.
A thought made him frown his eyebrows,
*Was she still unconscious*
*Or maybe she was awake and was just not answering*
Inhaling some air then letting it out he opened the door a little to peek if she was awake or not, but to his wonder, she wasn't even inside there, he led his way inside and glanced at the bathroom
*Maybe she was inside there!*
"Hello! are you there?"
Knocking on the door he spoke but once again there was nothing but silence,
"Where did she go?"
"Has she already left?.... WOW!"
Zain was amazed at this point, How could some be like that, She left! She just left quietly without a word.
*End of flashback*
Zain gaze at the girl standing near the door
"Come closer!"
Leaning back on his chair Zain utter with calm in his voice, Anna did as he said, she came a little closer and stood in the middle
"Come here and sit down"
Indicating Anna with his dark orbs to sit on a chair which rested in front of the table, Zain spoke once again while his eyes never left her's
"Why did you call me"
Anna sat straight and spoke, she already knew that he wanted to talk about yesterday, but what? was there anything to ask? even if there was he should have known that Anna Is not a simple person who would respond to his every concern that easily
Leaning forward he rested his forearms on the table in front of him, he plugged his fingers together as his orbs just stare at the girl sitting in front of him
"Yesterday!"
"Do you remember anything?"
"I do!"
"Good!"
"So can I ask you something?"
"NO!"
"Whatever you want to ask just remember! you won't get any answers!"
Anna was sitting peacefully but her words were on flame, the pale skin of her face looked soothing, but her voice was simmering firm,
Her self-acceptance was weak in front of people, but in front of Zain she was always confident,
She felt herself burning every time she sees him, but the reason for that burn was still hidden~
Her stiff like a rock answer left Zain amazed once again, she always does that, nothing was new for Zain at this point,
"You're doing this again!"
"What"
"Your anger! I can see those anger issues again!"
The anger issues which only appeared in front of Zain, Anna didn't know herself why she was doing that, why that anger only came off in front of her boss, he just wanted to ask something, and Anna just zipped up his jaws
"I told you already! I don't have any anger issues!"
"Exactly! that's what you told me! and yourself!"
Zain's mind was screwed up at this point, he couldn't believe this girl, she was showing rage on her face yet her cold voice was ready to burn everything, and what she was saying is she doesn't have any anger issues
"If you don't have anything else, can I go?"
Her sharped eyes were looking directly into his dark orbs, Zain didn't know what to utter anymore, he was speechless,
their eyes never break eye contact,
exhaling a deep sigh Anna got up and led her way out of his office while Zain was just looking at her going sight, the day he tried once again, but there was no sign of getting what he craves.
Anna stepped inside her cabin just to get greeted by her talkative seatmate, Daniel, who was busy working unlike usual, that was new,
Anna sat down beside him and was about to open her laptop when she heard him say something
"Anna, do you feel better today?"
"Yea!"
"That's good, but what happened there and did you get your coat back?"
His questions were annoying but what he uttered in the last made Anna frowned her eyebrows, yes there was a coat that she threw on the ground at that party, she wasn't even aware of that
"What coat?"
"Your coat!"
"My coat?!" ~
