Chapter 171: Established Contact

When Treegan arrived outside the Office of the King, he sensed a protective barrier around the room.

It canceled out any sounds so even if someone were to try and eavesdrop, they would fail to gain any valuable information.

His Master used this barrier only on occasions where confidential information was being shared that should not fall into any outsiders' ears.

Knowing the significance of the barrier, Treegan did not disturb the King and waited outside in silence.

Inside the Office, King Zander was paying attention to his General's report.

He had sent Leonard on a mission, a tough one, but was pleased with the response he had gained.

"It took a while longer than expected but contact was established successfully," Leonard revealed, his face oozing with pride that he had accomplished this task without any difficulties.
