Chapter 7: The Demon King's Treasure
Arthur made his way to the throne room. Ignoring all the treasures on the ground, he walked straight to the throne and sat down.
Arthur leaned into the throne with his eyes closed. [Dragon Palace, I am now your master!]
The palace shook like a monster coming alive, causing the treasures to stir.
Arthur ignored everything and sat on the throne like a sculpture.
This seemed to enrage the palace even more because it shook even harder, but it still didn't affect Arthur.
Ten minutes later, after some enraged shaking, the palace slowly calmed down.
[That wasn't as hard as Korva said it would be…] Arthur smiled with satisfaction, feeling a connection between him and the palace.
[Now, where are you…] Arthur stood up from his throne and walked to a pile of golden coins and brushed the coins aside, revealing [The Key] that Korva showed him earlier.
He reached down and picked up the strange short sword and examined it. The entire thing was coal-black but sometimes appeared gold depending on the angle you look at it. The blade was oddly shaped like a key with holes in it.
[Isn't this just like Gilgamesh's [Gate Of Babylon] Key? But why is it coal-black?] Arthur studied the short sword while lost in thought. [Korva said he found it while wandering the [Dimensional Chaos]… Is it a natural born treasure like the [Chaos Gate]?]
"I guess its worth a shot…" Arthur raised the key like short sword and stabbed it forward into the void.
"This…" Arthur's eyes widened in shock. The short sword actually stabbed into the void, creating a black and gold ripple.
Arthur felt the short sword enter something after penetrating the void and quickly guessed what it was.
[Since this is the key, then that's the lock, huh…] Arthur laughed with excitement and twisted the short sword inside the ripple.
The ripple made a unlocking sound, then absorbed the short sword inside and disappeared along with the ripple.
"Ahh!" Arthur knelt down and gripped his head in agony, feeling a massive amount of knowledge appear inside his mind.
Once the pain eased, Arthur was planted on the ground, sucking air into his mouth greedily like a fish out of water.
Arthur quickly looked through the new information inside his mind and whispered in shock. "A dimensional treasure house…"
Arthur slowly raised himself off the ground and with a thought, a black and gold ripple the size of a door appeared in front of him.
After hesitating for a second, Arthur walked through the door sized ripple.

"Wow…" Arthur looked around with wide eyes and blinked rapidly.
Arthur appeared at the end of a brick road surrounded by delicate flowers while in distance he can see massive trees.
The bricks were the same as the key; sometimes it looks black, and then sometimes it gleamed golden depending on where you stand.
[Just to be safe…] Arthur created a ripple in front of him and walked through.
…
Inside the [Dragon Palace], a ripple appeared in the throne room surrounded by treasure, and Arthur walked out.
"Huh..." Arthur sighed in relief and went through the ripple again.
…
Arthur once again emerged on the brick road, and the ripple behind him vanished.
[I guess just follow the yellow brick road?…] Arthur chucked at his stupid joke and strolled along the brick road.
A couple of minutes later, Arthur saw a clearance in the distance, with a strange shaped object in the center.
After getting closer, Arthur raised his eyebrows with curiosity. "This is a… Fountain?"
The brick road expanded and encircled an impressive black fountain that gleamed gold, spewing out sparkling, clear water.
The fountain had beautiful female figures standing around a round platform holding a massive golden crown above their heads that had water flow from the crown between the female figures and into the bowel beneath which shoots out of four tiger mouths and into the vast pool below.
Arthur ignored the fountain and looked around at the massive, empty area covered in bricks with a pleased smile. "Although it's a little empty at the moment, in the future this will be my private dimension and treasury."
Returning his attention back to the fountain, Arthur felt a little thirsty.
"I wonder if its poisonous..." Arthur held his chin with a wicked smile on his face. "Looks like Ill have to find someone to help me know." He shook his head with a smile and left through a ripple.

Back inside the [Dragon Palace] throne room, a ripple flashed and Arthur appeared on the throne.
"Oh, right… My treasury doesn't have a name yet…" Arthur tapped the throne with his finger while lost in thought. [In Fate, Gilgamesh's treasury is called The King's Treasure and Divine Gate] His finger stopped tapping on the throne and snapped his finger with a smile. "I know!" A glowing black and golden mixed ripple appeared in front of Arthur. "Ill call it [The Demon King's Treasure] and [Demonic Gate]."
While proud of his naming skills, Arthur glanced at the treasures scattered all over the floor and smirked. "Since it's a treasury, how can it not have any treasure inside?" As his voice fell, a massive [Demonic Gate] appeared above the scattered treasure and lowered, absorbing everything inside.
"Interesting…" Arthur's eyes shone with surprise.
When the treasures entered [The Demon King's Treasure], a record appeared inside Arthur's mind of everything that entered and how much.

"Rich…" Arthur whispered, looking at the list of treasures. [Is this what it feels like when rich people say that wealth is just a number?]
"I'm feeling hungry…" Arthur put his hand on his stomach and sighed. [I was planning on staying here for a week then enter a world, but I guess it won't work that way…]
