Chapter 4: Chapter 4 : Not the only one
"you bitch! who are you!?!" one of them yelled while glancing at his friend's corpse which was now laying on the ground in a pool of his own blood. "who am I? I guess I never really thought about that since coming here" she mumbled to herself. " I guess I could use my old code name. its not like I can escape my old life anyways".she thought while completely ignoring the men. as she wasn't paying much attention to them one of the men charged at her with a worn short sword in hand. "it doesn't matter who you are, you killed Daniel so we're going to kill you!".
with all the shouting the girl tied up at a nearby tree slowly woke up to see the camp and one man charging at a white haired demon girl. the girl tried to yell to get her attention but could only let out a muffled noise. Just before the sword came down on the girls head she shifted her weight ever so slightly, moving her body just out of the way making the blade only skim the end of her hair. Without hesitation she spun around and cut the man's calf while he was off balance causing him to fall over.
standing over the wounded and confused man dagger in hand she stabbed directly into his heart before he could even try to defend himself. turning around to see the other 4 with weapons drawn and bloodlust radiating off of them she smiled. "the names Sakura but I'm more commonly know as The Sadistic Sakura to people like you" she said as her eyes began to glow a shade of blood red. getting into a relaxed stance with the dagger in a inverted grip she charged at the 4 while releasing a small portion of her killing intent. instantly feeling the pressure in the air they all froze and began to panic as she got within striking distance.
deflecting the first strike with her dagger she elbowed the man in the face breaking his nose and following it up with a kick to the ribs instantly killing him. ducking under a swing from behind she sweaped his legs and stabbed him in his eye, pushing the dagger in further as he screamed in agony she had a large smile plastered across her face. as she turned around laughing she noticed a familiar look on the remaining 2 people faces. it reminded her of the faces of her torturers in there last moments.
laughing hysterically now she charged the remaining two easily dodging there wild and desperate swings while killing them instantly with a stab to the heart and a round house kick to the skull. "damn my body's alot stronger than before" she thought flexing her hands while still smiling as there bodys hit the floor. cleaning the blood off the dagger she knelt down to look through the body's when she heared a feight muffled scream from behind her. looking behind her she locked eyes with the bound girl she spotted earlier who looked terrified while trying to crawl away. sighing to herself she walked closer while drawing the dagger again with a deadpan which only happened to terrify the girl more.
kneeling down near the girls face she stared directly into her eyes for what the girl felt was a eternity before eventually cutting off the gag around her mouth but leaving her tied up. "so how did you end up in this situation" she said tilting her head slightly as she was knelt down next to the girl. "wh- wh- what are you..." she said while shivering and trying to shuffle further away. "From what I've heared im what's called a oni, but that doesn't matter right now so answer my question". sakura said with annoyance. "wh- what are you going to do to me..." the girl said on the brink of tears. "I swear to god. LISTEN, as long as you answer the question I won't hurt you alright?" she said a little frustrated while inching her face closer to the other girls face so they were only a few centimetres apart. "I was looking for herbs outside of town when I travelled a bit too far and got lost. After that I ran into these guys and they knocked me out." she said quickly while still scared. "fucking finally" Sakura said with relief knowing she wasn't a member of the men's group
getting up and walking over to the corpses she started to strip them of anything of value. Still sitting by the tree tied up the girl started to become a bit more composed after realising she wasn't in any immediate danger but soon realised that the person who saved her had just wandered off without freeing here. "hey if your not going to hurt me can you cut me free" she shouted awkwardly towards the girl while gesturing towards her bound hands. "just because i killed the guys that kidnapped you doesn't mean that I'm obligated to free you" she said without even looking in her direction as she continued looking through the corpses.
"what why!?!. what do you lose by helping someone, are you really a good person?" the girl said with both confusion and a little frustration in her voice. " I never claimed I was a good person you know? if anything satan already has a cell prepared for me in the deepest floor of hell" she laughed still without turning around. "and to answer your question the only thing I lose helping you is time but I gain nothing in return. so all and all I dont have much of a insensitive to help you." she said with a bored tone. "well what can I do to get you to help me then?" she said even more frustrated.
"well considering you just got robbed i doubt you have anything of use on you" she said while picking up a familiar looking knife from one of the bodys. these words made the tied up girl eyes widen as she truly realised her situation. glancing in the girls direction and seeing her facial expression sakura let out a small sigh. "Well your in luck as im new around here and lacking information so you better get speaking" she said as she picked up the familiar knife and finally turned around to face the girl. "well what do you need to know?" the girl said with new found hope in her voice.
"first off this" she said while holding up the familiar knife to show the girl. "how do you guys have a tanto and what is it doing here" she said with a serious expression. " wait that's mine, and how do you know what a tanto is!?! these aren't publicly available and only me and my brother have japanese blades. just who are you?". "are you japanese?. whats your name?" Sakura said a little surprised. "I go by Rin but my real name is kimiko, I was reincarnated here from japan 2 years ago with my brother Haru who goes by Resh. Are you also japanese?' kimiko replied hastily with a glint in her eye.
"yes my name is sakura and I reincarnated here yesterday" she said letting her guard down a little knowing this person was in a similar situation to her. "really! i haven't seen another reincarnation apart from my brother" she replied with excitement clearly in her voice. "as good as this is, this is also a huge problem" kimiko said with a sudden change in expression. "if people find your a reincarnation you'll be kidnapped and taken away by the king..."

Tainted_Blood hey everyone sorry if this chapter is late I was planning on finishing it yesterday but I decided not to. I mostly write late at night before I sleep so I wasn't in a creative mood after watching coco's graduation stream. if anybody reading this doesn't know who she is she is a vtuber who just graduated and just did there last stream. for any fans of coco just remember not to be sad that she gone but that happy that she came as everything in life is temporary and nothing lasts forever.
