"wake up Alice" whisperd a voice.
Alice slowly opened her eyes to see a familiar setting; her bedroom.
The room smelt of dampness mixed with cigarettes and alcohol.
As she slowly sat up in her bed she heard the faint sound of rain lightly tapping against her old broken window.
Alice looked around her bedroom, the wallpaper was pealing off her once baby blue walls but due to the mould it turned into a unpleasant green with speckles of black spots of dust in the corners.
"get up Alice" the voice whisperd once more.
Alice finally got herself ready, she wore a plain grey hoodie with black leggings.
Hesitantly she walked downstairs to be greeted by the polluting smell of smoke from her fathers cigarette.
"your going to be late for school, i recommend yer hurry yourself because i swear if i get another fucking call from that shit hole saying that you was late, you wont hear the last from me Alice" said her father in a irritate tone.
"I will get there on time" replied Alice sharply.
Alice paced herself down her dull depressing grey hallway to the front door.
"open it alice" whisperd the voice.
Without hesitation she opened the door and walked outside.
Whenever Alice would go outside everyone in the street would stare at her, everyones gaze made her feel uncomfortable.
Everyone unfortunately was aware of her situation at home because her family was considered 'different' like a pack of wolves in a pen full of sheep.
Alice walked until she got to her school.
Whenever looking at the school building she would always get an uneasy feeling.
"go inside Alice" whisperd the voice again
So Alice felt like she had no choice but to enter this hell hole.
