Chapter 20: Training centre... FIGHT!
The heroes followed Janae Katrina and Lestrad through the forest. They probably walked about half a mile west when they saw a small building, about the size of one building of their school. Daniel could see that they painted the outside. "Follow me" Janae said, walking towards the building.
As they got nearer to the building, Daniel could hear sounds of machines and other kids. They walked inside. Daniel didn't expect to see what they saw inside the training room. About fifty students were in the room. Sweat was dripping down their faces. They all looked up at the heroes.
"Hello all, today we have some visitors that will be training with us today. Nobody gave much notice to the visitors. Daniel thought they had seen many people before. "Don't mind them" Janae said with a smile. You can do whatever training you like" she said. Daniel realised there were a hundred of so of each excerise machine. And most students carried weapons. But what awed him most was the big stadium at the centre of the training centre.
Daniel walked up to one of the weights area. He asked the kid next to him "What's the stadium for?" The girl didn't respond. "I said-" Daniel said. "I heard what you said" she said loudly. "But I don't answer weak heroes like yourself" she said. This made Daniel's blood boil. How dare she judge him. "How dare you think I'm weak?" he shouted.
This got everyone's attention. The girl looked up like we was finding this conversation boring. Suddenly, her look changed. "Then fight me..." she whispered. "I was hoping you would say that..." Daniel said, smiling...
MEANWHILE:
Meanwhile, in another room of the training center, the other heroes were being surrounded by students. They had a strange look on their faces. A few of them got their weapons out. They saw a boy with a crossbow and a few with batons. Some cracked their knuckles and started laughing. But the heroes have encoundered this situation before. They weren't worried. In fact, they smiled to finally do some proper 'practice'
A few girls started coming faster towards them than others. As they did so, ice started to grow up their ankles, freezing them to the spot. Dennis scared them by bringing out his hammer. He got the other end of the hammer and hit it on the floor, sending out a shockwave of heat. Some stumbled. Now they were mad...
A few students with a baton ran towards them, throwing them at their heads, but it was easily caught by Bonnie and thrown back at them at twice the speed. A few students got knocked over. A few with cutlasses charged forward but Catherine made a line of ivy, tripping them over. Nobody could get close.
Just then, a sword swipe hit Edger on his hand. He turned around to see a girl with a tattoo standing a few metres away. She seemed to be stronger than the others. "I got this" Edger cried and threw his nunchucks. It looked as if it was going to miss, but it swung round and... got deflected? The girl swipped it away with ease. She raised her sword and it started to glow. A thunder boly shaped boomerang hit the sword, stopping the glow. Myra. "Don't let her strike" she cried. The girl growled. The others seemed to be enjoying this. Their strongest student was taking ten heroes at the same time.
Suddenly, the heroes' weapons returned to stone form. "What" they said in unison. But then it started to glow. Their eyes started to glow. "We're done with you" Dennis whispered. A wave of ivy rose over the girl. Ice crystals started to form all around her body. But she also felt a burning sensation inside of her. She felt caged inside a... metal box and couldn't do anything. Pieces of rock hit her hard again and again and a gust of wind made her fly towards the ivy and she disappeared underneath making a small explosion.
When the dust cleared, the girl was lying there, unconcious. The heroes came back to their normal state and their stones returned to their pockets. Dennis' vision was blurry but he could make out a few of the kids trembling, staring at them. But... they were looking past them... but before Dennis could find out what they were looking at, he blacked out... like the other heroes.
[Only if he knew what awaited him. Out of the nine heroes that were there, 4 of them were taken away by a monster called the Blood Snatcher. The four heroes(Dennis, Klara, Harold and Bonnie) were dragged away all at the same time...]
