Chapter 188: Chapter 188 Been very busy lately
At night when they went to bed, silence reigned between them and Jin Liwei noticed that she was unusually quiet. "Lost in thoughts. What are you thinking about?" Looking at him, she said," Honestly, I am disappointed. I had thought that finally I was able to make you a father."
"You don't have to worry about that. We have plenty of time ahead of us, okay? he said and she nodded.
When it became silent again, she asked," Jin Liwei, did you do it? The videos of Liu Han." He looked at her and wondered whether he should tell her. "What do you think?" he asked. "Well, that it was you," she stated and he said," Don't bother yourself with that."
His hands reached for the straps of her night robe and he loosened them before sliding it off her body. "It's cold," she murmured. "Don't worry. You will be fine," he said as his cold fingers massaged her skin making her breath hitch. "I was thinking. Instead of wasting time, why don't we work on making our dream come true?" he asked and she looked at him to say," Sounds like a good idea."
Before she knew it, all their clothes were on the floor and the two were making love, crazy love.
Hearing a knock on the door, Jin Liwei's eyes lids fluttered and he internally cursed. First of all, it was a weekend and secondly, no one dared to knock on his bedroom door. His eyes opened and they scanned the sleeping figure that was securely wrapped in his arms.
When the knocking persisted, he let go of her slowly so that he couldn't wake her up and hopped off the bed. Grabbing a robe to cover his naked body, he walked to the door and opened it to reveal Yin Chen standing behind it. "I'm so sorry for the interruption Young Master but your parents are here," she whispered. "My parents? What are they doing here?" "I don't know but they asked to see you and the young miss. They are waiting in the parlour," she said. "Okay. We are coming," he said and she nodded before leaving.
Closing the door, he groaned in frustration and walked back to the bed. He hated disturbing his sweet time with his woman and waking her up from her sleep especially if he was the one who exhausted her last night.
Getting on the bed, he bent and pecked her slightly parted lips and she changed her sleeping position. He then nipped her earlobe and she squeaked before speaking groggily," Jin Liwei..Didn't you have enough?" "You know I will never have enough," he replied. "Let me sleep some more please," she said in her sleep. "We have visitors," he whispered in her ear. "I don't want to see any visitors," she replied. "Uhm.. it's my parents. They are here," he said. "Hmm..I don't want- your parents!!" she sat up immediately when her mind registered what he had said.
"Yes, they are here," he told her and she asked,"
Why?!" "I don't know why but they are asking for the both of us," he said and her eyes widened. She quickly jumped out of the bed and ran to the closet then pulled out the first dress she could get. While getting dressed in it, she looked at him and asked," "What are you doing sitting there?!"
Getting no reply, she ran to the mirror while passing her fingers through her hair trying to make it look proper. He sighed andgot up to get dressed.
When she saw her reflection in the mirror, she gasped because she had hickeys all over her chest and a few on her neck. She turned to glare at him and said," You're a beast." She quickly got a sweater and wore it so as to hide the marks on her body. "I think you should go first. Your mother won't like it if she gets to know that we share a room yet we ain't married yet."
He wanted to disagree but knowing the way she wanted to make a good impression in front of his parents, he nodded and said," I will be waiting for you."
When he left, Li Fei rushed to the bathroom and brushed her teeth then washed her face before wiping it dry. She didn't want his parents to know that she had been in bed this late. Speaking of late, she wondered what the time was. Leaving the bathroom, she looked at the wall clock to see that it was coming to ten.
A while later, she left the room to go meet her soon to be in-laws.
She heard their voices as she approached the living room and took a deep breath before joining them.
"Oh! Li Fei, you're here," acknowledged Ms Jin. "I'm so sorry if I made you wait. I was in the shower," she explained and greeted both of them before taking a seat next to Jin Liwei.
"We are really sorry for the unannounced visit but we were not actually coming here," explained Mr Jin. "We are heading to a wedding anniversary of one of our acquaintances and we decided to pass by here," she explained.
Li Fei smiled at them and said," It is really fine. This is your home too." "That's very kind of you. I actually wanted to tell you that I chose the wedding date and it's going to be on the thirtieth of July. Hope you're both okay with it," she said. Li Fei looked at Jin Liwei who didn't seem to have a problem with it and she replied," It is okay Mrs Jin. We shall go with that." "I'm glad. As I told you, I will handle everything. You shouldn't worry about a thing," she reminded them.
Conversing for sometime, the two finally decided to leave and as Li Fei was escorting them outside, she caught her mother in law's eyes fixated on her neck and on reaching the door, she commented," It seems like the two of you have been very busy lately. Although you're not yet married, I wouldn't mind getting a grandchild. We shall take our leave now."
Li Fei's face burned red in embarrassment and she cupped it with both her hands. What an embarrassing way to be discovered by your mother in law?
