Chapter 7: Chapter 5 - The Crown Game
"Those of you who passed the test, make a line!"
Ravid, Hatz, and Anaak quickly grouped together.
'It's been a long time since I've read Tower of God, I don't remember what test this was...'
"The next test will be on a first come first served basis!"
There stood a woman, with blonde hair and headphones, also wearing a sleeveless yellow shirt with black stripes. Just imagine her as that mom from the bee movie if you want.
"Hi! I'm the test guide, Yellowy. The test will be conducted one team after another. The remaining teams, please wait and follow the instructions of the guide robot."
Soon, the first team entered the door.
"Hey." Anaak called out to Ravid.
"Hm?"
Ravid turned towards her, confused on what she wanted with him.
"Did you make this metal suit yourself?"
She banged on the metal suit, getting a feel on his solid it was.
"Yeah, I did."
"Seems pretty weak. But besides that, don't you get uncomfortable in this thing?"
"Well, that is true. But I'm still going to keep it on for these few next tests."
Anaak pondered for a couple of seconds before gaining a mischievous smile on her face.
"How about you let me wear it?"
"Pardon?"
Before Anaak could reply, a sudden resounding scream echoed throughout the room. Seemingly coming from the door the first team in. Ravid and Anaak stood in silence, trying to figure out what just happened.
"I still want to wear the suit."
"You know what, go ahead."
Ravid got out of the suit, allowing Anaak to get in. Anaak got in with enthusiasm, the suit closing the second she got in.
"Uhh, how do I work this thing?"
She tried to do something, but it ended up in her flying into the air and crashing into the ground a couple of meters away.
"Dumbass." Ravid facepalmed.
'I didn't even get to use it that much. Oh well, I can make a better one anyways.'
Soon, after a while, it was their turn to walk inside the door. Ravid, Anaak, and Katz walked in. They were greeted with a yellow-haired girl sitting on the floor and 12 red doors side by side.
'Is yellow hair a fashion trend, why do so many people here have it?'
"Nice to meet you, regulars. My name is Hansung Yu, your next test administrator."
Hatz slightly bowed, showing his respect to Hansung.
"Nice to meet you."
Hansung Yu smiled.
"The test is simple. Do you see all these doors behind me? Within 10 minutes, find-"
Before she could even finish her sentence, Ravid kicked opened a red door, a white light illuminating out of it.
"Hey! Why did you-?"
Anaak was about to shout at him when Ravid quickly interrupted her.
"I mean, it's pretty obvious if you were paying attention to the other contestants and how long they took." He shrugged.
'I knew beforehand anyways, thanks to already reading this.'
Hansung only smiled, seemingly interested in Ravid.
"I see you're quite intelligent. Congratulations, you have passed."
"The conditions were to open any door in 5 minutes, correct?"
Hansung nodded. And so, Ravid and the group was able to pass the test in a whopping 0.00 seconds, considering the actual test begins once Hansung Yu finishes explaining the conditions to pass.
"Oh yeah, I want my own-" Before Anaak could finish her sentence, she was interrupted.
"No." Ravid quickly replied.

"Now that you've all been transmitted to this spot, I will explain the Crown Game to you!"
Ravid sat against the wall with Anaak and Hatz as Lero continued to explain the game. Simply, it was basically just king of the hill with slightly different rules.
"Although there are a lot of rules and limitations, the point is that the team with the crown at the end of the last round is the winner."
'This is bad...Without my suit, I'm only going to be a meatshield than anything.' Ravid thought.
"Oh, and one more thing. Another team from another test spot will be participating. It is a long story. Now, let's start the game! One!"
Ravid pondered for a second, wondering whether or not they should join the first round.
"Guys, let's-"
But before he could finish his sentence, his teammates had already pressed the buzzer.
"God damn it. Whatever, let's just do this."
Ravid stood up, walking into the throne room with Anaak and Hatz.
"50 minutes are more than enough to take out these chumps." Anaak said proudly.
"I agree." Hatz replied.
