Chapter 2: CHAPTER 2: Lost
Isobel and Caroline walked quietly back home. After all the emotional drama, Caroline felt she needed some rest. she tiredly dropped her bag on the sofa, she couldn't help but let out a sign.
"Thank you caroline" isobel said as fell tiredly on the cushion.
"Isobel my dear" the voice awoken isobel conciousness, the voice, a familiar voice as well as the last voice and person she wish to see at the moment.
"Mom" Isobel weakly said as the woman ran towards her stretching her hands out for an embrace, she was tall, quite curvy, anyone who sees her could tell she is very stylish, her flashy gown was just a little bit above her knee, her gold curly hair couldn't be more suited for her. She was young, too young to have giving birth to Isobel but that's only because she got pregnant at the age of 16.
Too young to raise a child, she left her for her dad who raised her till few years ago when he died of lungs cancer.
During those period Isobel thought her world would come crashing but Fredo stood by her side.
Due to her father sudden death, she found herself relying more and more on fredo who in return comforted her.
"what would i do without you" she would always tell Fredo who would just smile exposing his dimples.
he was the most handsome man she has ever seen and he loved her more than she ever expected, she couldn't help but reciprocate his feeling.
"I thought i would never move on from my fathers death but with fredo there i couldn't stay sad for long, he was always there to make me smile".
Isobel remembered saying this words to Caroline who just did nothing but felt pity for her.
The last person in the world who loved her after her father had died too, how was she suppose to just move on, everyone she ever deeply loved was dead, just when she thought she all alone, her mother suddenly return.
Though, her return made isobel a little bit happy, she still couldn't forget the fact that her mother abadoned her all these years. So no matter how caring her mother try to act, Isobel could tell, she really isn't used to been a mother.
"Isobel, how are u doing, I was worried, Caroline please the next time you take my daughter out, can you please inform me, I thought she had tried to kill herself again".
she said caressing her face, isobel was supposed to feel happy about the fact that her mother was worried about her but for some reasons she felt the exact opposite.
She slowly removed the hands off her face "I can take care of myself mom and besides I didn't try to kill myself okay, I just took some sleeping pills because I couldn't sleep".
she said while walking away not wanting to be there for another second.
She walked straight into her room, for some reason her legs felt so numb, Isobel could feel she was lifeless without Fredo. He filled the void her mother left in her heart this whole time, his persistent care, made her love him more by the second.
she fell tiredlessly on the bed, the softness brought some kind of relaxation, the thought of fredo caressing her on the bed slips through her mind, she covered her face with her hands. "Am lost without you".
