Chapter 55: Danmachi: Keiko & Testarossa
Separating from Asahi, Keiko & Testarossa arrived in the Danmachi World, outside the city of Orario, while Keiko didn't know much about it, only up to the events of the first season, Testarossa in attempt to be more useful to Asahi had literally read through every single Light Novel he had in his home, as well as any she found online along with manga. Needless to say, she had a lot of information about this world as well.
Using her materialization magic she made a scythe as per Keiko's request, since she found them cool while the quality did not match weapons made by top level blacksmiths, it was certainly above an average weapon, afterwards Testarossa proceeded to teach how to at least handle her weapon, before leaving her and hunting down some monsters, she killed them slowly and came back with some magic stones so that they could take care of their lodgings and food for Keiko, since she herself did not need to necessarily eat.
Making their way into the city of Orario, Keiko looked around in wonder and awe, she was really in another world now! Testarossa also took some time looking around the city as it was quite unique and beautiful, needless to say they were receiving many looks for their unique appearances, a group of adventurers approached them with lust evident in their eyes, Testarossa looked at the leader of the group, it was a level 2.
Keiko looked around panickedly, "Are...What's happening?" Testarossa gained a smile as she placed a hand on her chin and said, "Ara~Ara~ It appears some brutes have surrounded us" she opened her palm as black lightning cackled in it, seeing it the adventurers ran away. She sighed, "Sigh....too bad" and they continued their journey, getting into the guild, she exchanged the stones she had acquired from the monsters for Valis and registered Keiko as an adventurer, saying that they had already decided on a familia, both of them left the guild to search for the Goddess Hestia so that Keiko could join her familia.
Coming across the fallen church, they waited for the Goddess Hestia but ran in to Bell first who was just returning from the dungeon, he was very happy to see that someone wanted to join their familia, Keiko made small talk with Bell who constantly had a red face looking at the two, after all they were very beautiful (A/N: God! this is why beta MCs are so-) , Testarossa meanwhile was busy thinking up their plans from here on out, she would prepare a situation where Keiko would be forced to kill, that would be most beneficial to Asahi after all. Eventually Hestia came back from her work and was overjoyed at the prospect of a new familia member, so much so that she began to jump around in happiness however she was also wary of the two as she thought her Bell would be stolen, this earned a disappointed look from Testarossa.
Then next day, Bell and Keiko left for the dungeon and Keiko of course being a normal person was reluctant to kill but after remembering how strong Asahi's other lovers were she burned with conviction and killed a lot of monsters, slowly improving her proficiency with the scythe and her stats. Meanwhile, Saeko met up with Testarossa, she was still holding the same katana Asahi had given her, while he had thrown it like it was a spare, it was actually one of the best works of a very high-level blacksmith from Demon Lord Leon's country, she was able to notice that it was of good craftsmanship so she chose to keep it, after getting her registered as an adventurer and joining the Hestia Familia, she immediately bolted to the dungeon, she would get stronger for Asahi she was pretty sure she was in love with him after seeing his nature. Stress often increases these kinds of feelings and she met him in the middle of a literal zombie apocalypse, with him even she could find happiness.
And so several days passed with both Keiko and Saeko grinding in the dungeon, with no one to hold her back Saeko began realizing that she indeed did enjoy killing, one day she killed several adventurers that had tried to harass her inside the dungeon when she was alone, being alone on the upper floors was relatively safe, she enjoyed killing them but still holding some sense of reason and morality she confided in Testarossa, who told her to simply enjoy it and said that Asahi would encourage it. With that her personality changed as well, she would enjoy killing without reserve now though it still wasn't at Asahi's level, she would not go looking for opportunities but if the opportunity provided itself she would take it without hesitation.
True to her thoughts, Testarossa had used her bewitching magic on several adventurers and forced Keiko into a situation where she had to kill, naturally Keiko was devastated and came back crying however using that mental state to her advantage, Testarossa managed to instill the idea that killing was an inevitable action mainly using Asahi as an anchor, now Keiko had a train of thought where while she would not like killing she would not hesitate either.
Over their time there, Saeko and Keiko had formed a friendship with Bell but he was still a little bit embarrassed when talking with them, while Testarossa even if she hadn't joined the familia, became somewhat of an important part of it. The progress of Saeko and Keiko was much faster as well this was because Asahi had loaded them with several self-sustaining strengthening and defense spells. After two weeks, both of them leveled up much to the surprise of everyone in Orario, two weeks! the last time it was 1 year! this wasn't even one-twelfth of that. This earned them the titles, "The Gentle Reaper" for Keiko based on her gentle nature but deadliness with the scythe and "Blade Maiden" for Saeko in respect to her skill with the blade.
Saeko wore armor similar to what Mikoto wore however her paddings were a bit longer and blood red in color while her dress was white, as for Keiko she just wore paddings over her school uniform as she liked it a lot and was stubborn about letting it go, so Testarossa and Saeko just leave her be.
This made them fairly popular in Orario, while also earning the attention of several dangerous figures, as for how this happened, well it was the incident where a minotaur escaped to the upper floors, it was about to hit Bell who ran away and was backed away into a corner, but as it was about to hit him, the blow was blocked by Keiko who now had her hair tied up in to a pony tail with her scythe, before it was thrown away by her with her superior strength, and then split in two halves by Saeko making her white clothes red from the blood as she sported a maniacal grin. The same incident with Ais repeated instead this time it was Keiko, Bell became a blushing mess and ran back to the church. Saeko chuckled at the sight, while Keiko confusedly looked around, wondering if she had done something wrong. (A/N: My dear Bell I apologize in advance but I'm going to enjoy this....a lot)
Afterwards the incident with Liliruca Arde took place, while Saeko and Testarossa chose to turn a blind eye to it as it did not concern them while Keiko chose to help them out after all she was by nature a kind and gentle girl, increasing Bell's feelings for her. Hestia felt conflicted about this she had often heard Keiko, Saeko and Testarossa talking about Asahi and it was obvious that all three of them loved him dearly, she sighed her dear Bell would most likely be heartbroken.
(A/N: Yes and I am going to enjoy writing and reading every single moment of that)
A month passed and Bell also levelled up with another orchestrated minotaur incident, Welf Crozzo also ended up joining their party and while Hermes had tried to cook up various plans for testing Saeko and Keiko each single one of them was seen through and foiled by Testarossa, after the incident with the Goliath getting into the safe zone, Saeko and Keiko were able to get to level 3, however the incident was actually solved by Testarossa who blew it apart using nuclear magic, because it got her clothes dirty and she was frustrated because she had to walk all the way down here, she actually wanted to kill the humans responsible for this incident and actually stop it beforehand, but stopped because it was a way for Saeko and Keiko to level up.
Like that another month passed, and all of them were missing Asahi a lot, this was way longer then what he had promised! Afterwards the incident with the Apollo Familia took place with Apollo this time getting interested in not only Bell but also, Keiko, Saeko, and Testarossa and now they were attending a party at his mansion as Testarossa looked around in amusement at the men approaching them but getting rejected one after the other, while Apollo straight up stared at them with a glint in his eyes sending shivers down their spines. (A/N: Hey that rhymes)
Right at this moment a portal opened up next to Orario's gate as a teenager with long white hair with purple mixed in walked out of it along with four girls by his side and a nine-tailed fox lying on his shoulder, all of them looked around in curiosity.
