Chapter 2: An Unexpected Incident

It was 3:00 am, all were sleeping expect John. Again the weird sound was coming from the kitchen. John asked his mom "Mom, can you hear the sound?" " Stop seeing horror movies!", she said. John took the pillow on his ears and tried to sleep. Suddenly,he felt that someone was coming towards him. The sound of footsteps was echoing in his ears. He slowly lowered his blanket and with his half opened eyes he saw a strange figure in front of him. John shouted so loudly that everyone came to the room. His mom switched on the lights and said "What happened? ".. " Are you Ok?".John said, "I saw something strange here".No one paid attention to his words exept his grandfather. John's grandfather in his time was a paranormalist. A man who studies on paranormal activities. John's dad was a also a paranormalist, but John was told that he was a professor in Oldy General College, Brookhaward. John's grandfather was a little shocked when he heard John saw something strange. Finally,John fall asleep.It was 8:45 am. All woke up. John was brusing his teeth. John's mother Amelda was making breakfast. And Jhon's Aunt and uncle were packing their bags. They only came Brookhaward to celebrate his birthday. John's granfather was as usual bussy in his secret room where no one was allowed to come. Suddenly, John heard a voice.His grandfather was calling him. His grandpa was an old man who was atleast 60 years old, with a deep scar near his eyes. "Coming!", replied John. His Grandpa said " Do you want to see my secret room?".John was literally surprised. He said, "Why are you seeking the permission of one you are doing a good turn too".John's grandpa said, "But their is a condition, Promise me you won't tell anyone about this secret room".John said, " Done! "."Can we arrive?",said John. Grandpa said, " The my secret room is here only".John was confused. Grandpa took off a book from the book shelf and a secret door opened. John was surprised."Shall we go inside?", asked grandpa. John was very keen to go inside. He said, "Yah please".
