Chapter 2: Wait... Criminal Organization?!
His vision faded to black. He saw nothing because he had been sleeping. While he had been sleeping, his mother went around town and found the thugs who had mercilessly beat on her son. They were forced to write a letter of apology to Soichiro, that he could easily tell was lies written on paper once he had woken up. Everything wrote down was just a bunch of lies that they made to convince his mother that it was really from the heart. But he knew these bastards more than she realized and planned to fight all of them at once. He immediately backed down, "Who am I kidding? If I was able to defend myself, I could've done it earlier. Where was all this courage and bravery, huh?" He said while having a finger on the right side of his head, as if he was scolding his brain. Jeez, this kid was weird.
A white bandage had been wrapped around his head. It was to prevent any blood from spilling out of his head or his mom just wanted him to look like a product made from her "fashion designing". At this moment, his mom had been downstairs. He could hear her speaking to a man, whose voice sounded full of concern. "Lucia, it has to be done now. He wants his successor to grow into a strong and resilient-", the man was cut off as Lucia must have slammed her fist into an object because a loud slam was heard. "I will not allow MY son in the affairs of a criminal organization. Do you know how many people have died because of this!? I lost many brothers and sisters because YOU BASTARDS want to keep running around with your stupid little guns!", Lucia bellowed. Soichiro swore he heard the entire house shake with the intensity of that yell. Was his mom always this strong? Or was she just hiding her true strength? Damn, his mom was actually cool. That is something he didn't expect to happen, not in a hundred years.
Soichiro creeper the stairs of his home and hid behind a wall to listen closer to the conversation between his mother and their guest. Stuff was getting interesting in here, was it not? "Lucia, I understand that you do not wish to have a mere boy in the hands of the mafia. But I'd love to train him, hell even tutor him. I looked at this boy's grades and he has a F in most of his classes." The man said with a light chuckle at the end of his sentence. Wait, did he just say mafia?! They are supposed to exist in Italy and stay in Italy. But if you really think about it, it'd make sense for those of the mafia to expand their territory in other countries. Smart but flawed in a way. Anyways, Lucia grabbed a bottle of tea and began to drink it in order to calm herself down a bit. She was so angry that Soichiro could literally feel her rage. Shivers went down his spine as he prayed that his mom does not destroy the house in a blind fit of rage.
"Lucia, you know very well that I'll protect my students with my life. You can trust me on this, alright? I can give you time to think on this. Let's say... by the end of this week. It's Tuesday now so you have three days to think it all over. Use those days wisely." The unnamed man said before stepping over to the door and noticing Soichiro. He waved goodbye and headed on his way to.. where ever the hell he went. How the fuck am I supposed to know?
