Chapter 2: Ellyseum
Celia handed him a magic bag and he took it saying : "Mommy, I already have mine you know, I told you that I was already ready to go, I've been waiting for this moment for a long time and I prepared for it seriously, don't be worried, okay ?"
Celia replied, ruffling his hair : "You can always dream of darling ! Do you want to wait for the others to say goodbye or do you want to leave now ?"
Gabin didn't hesitate even for a second, if his mother had a chance to send him there now then he couldn't miss this opportunity, and if in a few minutes the force field became as powerful as before ...
That would mean he had missed his only chance to finally be able to meet him and to answer all of his questions.
He said to his mother gravely and determined : "I'm going now, how do we do it ?"
Celia had expected that Gabin would want to leave right away so she nodded and said : "I'm going to open a transdimensional portal to this world, I'll only be able to hold it for a few seconds so don't miss your chance, as soon as it is stable go ahead, got it ?"
Gabin nodded to let her know that he was ready and her mother's eyes then turned silver, an aura of great power was emanating from her and suddenly a vortex made of rainbow color formed in front of her.
When Gabin felt that the transdimensional portal was stable, he rushed inside as his mother had suggested, and once he arrived to the other side, the portal closed immediately.
Gabin couldn't believe it, that was it, he had finally managed to pass through this overpowering force field.
When he looked around he saw that he must have been on an ancient battlefield as there were corpses all around him.
Gabin concentrated and tried to use his perception to find where the fighters and mages in this world were, but he felt nothing.
Strange thought Gabin, he could clearly feel weak vital signs but that didn't match with what fighters and mages were supposed to release, it was like this world had been put on hold or at least like it was turning in a slow down motion.
Before leaving this place, Gabin searched the bodies of the corpses, perhaps he would find some useful information about what was going on here.
After inspecting several of them he had found neither magic bag nor any weapons on them, however they all had the same bracelet on their wrist.
This bracelet looked like the ones her mother made except that there was an oval black stone in the middle.
Gabin was naturally curious and sensing no danger he took the bracelet from one of the corpses and put it on his right wrist, because on the left one he already had his mother's.
When he put on the bracelet, it adjusted to his wrist and he felt something prick him, just after that a holographic screen appeared in front of his eyes and a message popped up [ Your DNA scan is in process ... please wait ]
This message that appeared out of nowhere had to be linked to the bracelet, the sting he had just felt must have been a blood sample for this DNA test.
Gabin's smile widened, 'pretty cool' he thought, while fighting the demon gods in the lower plane of existence, he had visited a lot of different worlds and some had that kind of advanced technology.
But obviously this system was wasting is time, it wouldn't find anything in its database, Gabin was eager to see what was going to happen next.
It didn't take long for a new message to pop up [ Your DNA scan has failed no matches has been found ]
[ Are you new to Ellyseum ? Please select Yes / No ]
So Ellyseum was the name of this more and more interesting world, Gabin tried to touch the holographic screen with his finger but he slipped through, 'well that's not a touchscreen', he thought.
If it wasn't a touchscreen then he just thought of the answer he wanted to give 'Yes', immediately a new message popped up [ Explorer, welcome to Ellyseum ]

Gabin was in no rush, now that he was here he would find the man or rather the demon he was looking for sooner or later, so he chose 'read more', and the system immediately gave him some background information.
[ You need an account to buy and sell goods.
You need an account to contact someone or to be able to be contacted.
You need an account to play Stellar Online, this online game is played by 100% of the people of Ellyseum.
Any trade can only take place within Stellar Online.
To leave this place and go to the higher plane of existence you need to reach level 100 inside Stellar Online and kill the Boss of the fifht floor. ]

What the heck, thought Gabin. Was that why this world seemed to be a dead world, it was because everyone in Ellyseum was inside this game, Stellar Online.
Well, it seemed that he didn't have really a choice so he chose 'Yes'.
Then, another message popped up [ Please choose a name for your account, this name will also be used to play Stellar Online. ]
He didn't think too much and chose his own name, if later his family came to join him here they must be able to find him quickly, then he thought 'Gabin'.

So troublesome, thought Gabin, he then thought 'Yes' and a whole new screen appeared in front of his eyes.

Gabin couldn't hold his curiosity so as he didn't have access to the store yet he chose to check his 'Inventory' first.
The holographic screen changed again and all of its possessions, meaning everything in his magic bag and the one his mother had given to him were listed here.
He checked and indeed his two magic bags were gone. He then scrutinized this screen carefully to make sure nothing was missing.

The credits is the currency used to buy and sell in the store, 100 gold coins = 1 credit, you can change gold coins into credits at any time.

Gabin needed to know how this system worked so he just thought at his favorite sword, 'Excalibur', and as he had expected, his sword was now in his hand, okay that will do then, thought Gabin.
