Chapter 29: Meeting Luci and Grayfia.
Arthur POV
He looked to me, his eyes narrowed, a dominating aura surrounding him! I grinned at him in return. "Waddup Luci!"
*BOOOMMMM*
Grayfia's aura exploded and my eyes locked onto hers. I rose my eyebrow 'Damn. She got salty well quick!' Sirzechs's eyes narrowed further but he didn't speak. "You should address Lord Lucifer properly, lest you be removed"
I could feel my eyebrow twitching on my forehead. 'I'm being threatened already, fuck me.' I smiled and waved her off. "Alright. No need to get angry. I'm just trying to talk to the man. I get he's the lucifer, but for Robs sake, it's not like I've come here looking for a fight" I said to Grayfia. Trying and ultimately failing to calm her.
Sirzechs looked to her and nodded. In an instant her aura disappeared. He turned his gaze to me, seeming unimpressed. "May I ask your name?" Lucifer asked. "Mhm" I mumbled to him.

'Oh damn. His stats are fucking high. I feel quite bad though. He worked his whole life to get this powerful and here I am. I could kill him with a flick of my finger if I used enough mana, all because of Rob and Nabe.' I stopped looking at his stats, and realized that from where my screen was placed, it would seem as if I was staring at him. 'Well aint that weird'
"Oh. Oh shit. My bad, I got caught up on something. Not looking at you, I'm not into that. I was just in deep thought" I said with a smile. Sirzechs looked calm. Grayfia on the other hand, not so much. Though she didnt really show it, it is know that she isn't one to show emotion. Her eyes were narrowed and creases appeared around her mouth, as if trying to hold off a frown or snarl.
"Right... My names Arthur, you can call me however you like, I don't mind. And head ups. Your mansion or palace, or whatever you call this place, is really easy to break into. Not that anyone would really want to mind you. But still" I said to him. The next thing I know is I'm getting a ball of ice, with enough mana imbued to kill basically anyone, being thrown in my face. 'so much for good first impressions' I thought to myself.
I held up my hand and swiped. The ice that Grayfia had thrown at me disappeared. Grayfia's eyes had widened and Sirzechs now looked angry. "What is you want Arthur" He said to me, a coldness biting his words. "I mean. I don't want anything really. I just wanted to meet you and see what you were like"
Sirzechs's bow rose "Why did you want to meet me and see what I was like" he asked curiously. "Because you are Rias's brother. My own curiosity as well, I'd heard stories about you" Both of Sirzechs's brows rose and his eyes seemed to glimmer. "You know Rias!?" He asked me enthusiastically. "Hehe, yeah I do. Were in the same class" I said back to him.
And then, there was another large amount of aura. This time from Sirzechs. "What are you going to do to her? Are you going to hurt her?" My eyes narrowed and I could see Grayfia struggling to breath next to him. I swiped my hand and the aura dissipated "Yo, chill out a bit, yeah? You were choking her" I said to him with slight anger, gesturing to Grayfia.
Sirzechs looked to his wife with sorrowful eyes, but she didn't meet his gaze. She carried on looking forwards towards me. 'Ever dutiful Grayfia' I thought, smiling in her direction. "No, I'm not going to do anything to Rias, well, other than help her out of the arranged marriage she's in. That you supposedly cant do anything about" I said to him. Him getting angry and it affecting Grayfia's well-being peeved me.
"Yes well, she's my little sister, I care about her quite a lot. How are you going to get her out of the marriage" He asked me. "She's currently training after I made a deal with her. If she has a rating game with him and she and her peerage are enough to beat him, then it will end there. If he happens to win however. well...I'll go against him and ask for her to be freed from all arranged marriages as a rewards for winning"
He looked thoughtful about it before nodding. "Okay. Are you sure you'll be strong enough to beat the man she's engaged to?" I looked at him with wide eyes. 'I thought this guy was meant to be smart? Is his love for Rias clouding his brain cells?'
"I mean. I just negated a super devils aura. as well as the spell that came from the lovely lady next to you. You would doubt my power?" It seemed to click into his brain. "I was just making sure. What faction do you belong to? I cant feel any aura coming from you." He asked me.
"I don't belong to a faction and you cant feel my aura because I'm hiding it." I said simply. "Can you at least tell me what race you are?" Sirzechs asked.
"I'm human"

..
"Excuse me? I believe I just heard you say human?" Lucifer said to me. Even Grayfia struggled to hide her surprise. "That I did." I said with a smile. "Do you have a sacred gear that has made you so strong?" He asked me, confusion lacing his voice.
"I do have one. But its not what made me strong." I replied to Sirzechs. 'No offense Ddraig' I said to her in my mind. I got grunt in response. "And what was it that made you strong?" Lucifer asked me. "We've just met and you want me to tell you my life story? You want to know what made me strong? Family!"
"Really? What did they do?" He asked with surprise. "N-nothing. Its just a reference you uncultured swine." I said with shock 'I guess Dominic doesn't exist here'
*DUMMM*
"Please refrain from insulting Lord Lucifer!" Grayfia interrupted, once again exuding her aura. I smiled at them, alternating my gaze between the both of them. "Hehe, sorry dear. Your very protective of him aren't you? You married or something?"
Lucifer rose his eyebrow before smirking. "That we are. I've seen you stealing glances at her. Could it be you are feeling envious of me?" He said proudly. I however just cringed 'Did he really just flex his own wife?' Grayfia also didnt seem very happy with what he just said and shot him and glared at him.
Mark this day down in history, for I witnessed Sirzechs Lucifer! The might super devil! Flinch at his wife's glare, and cower behind his hands.
"My, my, Lord Lucifer. For someone who's meant to be a leader and master politician. That sounded awfully petty. Especially so considering you are showing off your own wife." I said in mock surprise. "But no. As gorgeous as the woman standing next to you is" I said smiling in Grayfia's direction before I continued "I have a woman of mine own. Whom I love."
'Nabe, please make yourself known.'
I felt the air around me distort and a presence appear behind me to the left. Lucifer shot up in surprise and Grayfia prepared herself for combat. "No need to worry yourselves. Luci, Luci's wife. May I introduce you to Nabe, my lover and head maid." I said to the both of them and they softened slightly. Nabe shot me a glare when I mentioned 'lover'. Though I just shot her a sympathetic smile. She was wearing her maid battle armor.
"My lord, madam. It is an honor to meet you. If I may introduce myself. I am Narberal, head maid to the heir of Liones" Nabe said to Grayfia and Sirzechs. Lucifer nodded to her before turning to me with a hidden thumbs up and mouthed 'Nice' to me. I smirked and nodded with closed eyes.
"So you are heir of the Liones household. An English noble house at the rank of duke if I do remember rightly" Sirzechs said matter of factly. "Indeed. That is one of my titles." I said and he nodded before talking again "I see. Are all Liones family members aware of the supernatural?" and I shook my head in response.
"So, are any of the other Maou's here today?" I asked Sirzechs as I summoned a gold throne as well as a cup of Chai tea and sat down. Sirzechs looked shocked at the fact a large gold throne and a cup of tea appeared out of nowhere. "Erm, Yes. All of them are in the building today."
"Cool. I might drop by and say hello to Sera after this then. If she isn't busy of course." I said to myself. But garnered another look of surprise from Sirzechs. "Ohh. Luci, would you mind if we took a quick picture?" I asked with a smile. "It depends on what you'll do with it". Sirzechs replied.
"I'm going to send it to Rias!" I told him and he quickly nodded. I took out my phone and went over to him. I slung my arm around his shoulder whilst he was still sitting in his throne and looked at my phone to take a picture. Grayfia was viewing from the side with curiosity in her eyes.
I took the picture with both me and Sirzechs smiling, before walking to Grayfia "Want to take a pic as well?" I asked her. She looked to Sirzechs for confirmation and he nodded. She looked to the phone with an impassive face. "Smile a little at least. Its only going to Rias" I said to her and she glared at me. She sighed before looking back to the phone with a smile. "You should smile more. Your impassive face does not do your beauty justice." I said before taking a picture with her.

I put my phone back in my pocket and thanked both Grayfia and Sirzechs. "You seem quite close with my sister. Is there a reason?" Sirzechs asked me. "I mean, you kind of have to be close with someone to sleep in the same room as the-" I started, but was interrupted by Sirzechs aura.
*RUMBLE-DUMMMMMM*
This time Grayfia dropped to her knees due to Sirzechs releasing an incredibly large amount of aura. The room was taking significant damage and pieces of rubble were falling down from the ceiling. I placed a barrier over Grayfia and Nabe to stop the rubble from hitting them.
After securing their safety I negated his aura become releasing my own onto him alone. "Why is it devils feel the need to release their aura so often? I didnt even get to finish my sentence!" I said towards Sirzechs. His knees were cracking into the floor and he looked unable to breath so I released him.
Grayfia had stood up, watching the situation, seeming conflicted on what to do. Sirzechs stood up and started channeling his destruction. "Don't do it. I will only tell you once my friend!" I said to him coolly. "You have put your wife at unnecessary risk twice now, and worst of all, you have put my own lover at risk! Explain yourself!" I finished, sounding angry by the end.
Grayfia looked as if she was going to argue with me, though I looked to her and furrowed my brows in confusion, misunderstanding why she wasn't also angry. She looked to floor, seeming conflicted once again. 'It seems even the ultimate queen cant argue in this situation. I don't think she'll even try and stand up for him'
"You are trying to provoke my by using my sister aren't you?" Sirzechs asked me, anger present in his voice. "At what point did I provoke you using your sister?" I asked him, confusion clear in my voice. "You just said you slept with my sister! Right to my face!"
'This...This, man! Is THE Lucifer?' I blinked my eyes at him before replying. "At no point did I say I slept with your sister Sirzechs! I slept in the same room as her last night because I was visiting to give her a fucking cupcake. Excuse my language. I would've told you that if you let me finish." i said to him. Talking as if speaking to a child.
"Oh. Well, excuse me for getting angry then" He said towards me and then turned to Grayfia. "Forgive me Grayfia. It was irresponsible of me" She nodded at the apology, though it seemed half hearted. "Ah so that it your name then? Grayfia. A lovely name. Forgive me for not asking for it sooner" i said with a small bow and smile. "It's fine. You came to see Lord Lucifer after all" Grayfia said to me with a nod.
I smiled at her reply. 'One step closer. Be careful Sirzechs or you might find yourself a wife short.' I looked to them both before making eye contact with Sirzechs again. "Well then. This was an eventful meeting of the Lucifer, however I must take my leave." I said to him and he nodded.
"Thank you for coming. I hope our meeting hasn't had an influence on your thoughts of devils, my behavior was unacceptable. I hope you still help my sister" Sirzechs said with hope in his eyes. "Of course I will. I care for your sister quite a lot. I wouldn't let some prick marry her. Either way, its been a pleasure Luci, you as well Grayfia. I hope we meet again" I said to them both, though i kept my eyes on Grayfia towards the end.
'I guess I'll go see what Sera is doing' I thought to myself as I opened the door and the throne room.
