Chapter 1: Introduction chapter
"Run faster!!!" Jaelyn's mother yelled from behind her. They had both escaped from the slave house of the kingdom. Jaelyn kept running with her mother behind her but unfortunately a distant arrow shot into her mother's back and she fell.
"Mother..." she turned back and went to her mother's side.
"Wha-what are you doing, r-ru-run Jaelyn" her mother stuttered as she was dying.
"No mother i cant leave you here" Jaelyn sobbed as she held her mother's dying body in her arms.
"They will get you if you don't leave now Jaelyn.... go"
Jaelyn cried harder than she has ever cried.
"Jaelyn....." her mother spoke, "you should go and save yourself, its time i leave already , j-ju-just know th-that your mother loves you"
"Mother please don't leave me" she said
The sound of galloping horses made Jaelyn turn her head to where the sound came from.
"Dear..you have to leave now, don't l-lose the b-ra-celet" and those were her mother's lasts words.
"Nooooooo..." Jaelyn cried out in pain, she screamed not caring if anyone heard her but no one could as they were in the forest.
The horses sound came again, it seemed the slave searchers were near.
She had to run.
She had to live.
She had to survive to avenge her mother.
