Chapter 3: Why My Husband So Stubborn!

"Helena..?"

A soft voice called out to her. Queen Revania looked intently at Helena. Looking at the girl still closed her eyes. Queen Revania didn't stare at Rima for long - the butler.

"Has she been found outside for a long time?" Revania asked and put the back of her hand on Helena's forehead.

"Mmm... Her fever isn't high anymore." Revania said and straightened her sitting position.

"Your Queen Majesty, forgive me for my carelessness. Last night..." Rima seemed confused to explain, although the queen already understood what Rima was going to say.

"Your Majesty came to Helena's room, and then he left, didn't he?" Revania asked, and Rima nodded slowly.

"Why my husband so stubborn? It's hard to find a wife for him." Revania said and looked back at Helena.

"Helena, can you hear me?" Revania called back when she saw a twitch of Helena's eyelids.

Slowly, Helena opened her eyes. The first thing she saw was a pair of blue eyes staring at her.

Yes, Queen Revania has the same eyes as Helena. And not only that, but she also has the same hair color as Helena.

Many think that Helena and Revania still have a sibling relationship, but in reality, they are not.

And all of their meetings were fate. Destiny determines the path of a new life for Helena.

"Queen Revania, I... I can't... Ach..." Helena felt her head spinning slightly, and Revania smiled at her, trying to persuade Helena not to get out of bed right away.

"You're not feeling well. You should get more rest. And I know Louis wasn't in your room last night." Revania said casually.

"What? Your Queen Majesty, you know it?" Helena said, looking desperate than before.

"Really... I've tried, but it seems King Louis doesn't like me," Helena said and looking down. Revania was still smiling as if Helena's answer didn't bother her too much.

"He was in my room last night. I'm so sorry, Helena. You can't enjoy your first night with him." Revani arranged Helena's hair which looked tousled.

Helena looked confusedly at the Queen. Everything to her still felt very strange.

It seems like just a few days ago, Helena was just an ordinary farmer's child. A simple life and far from the kingdom.

"Your Queen Majesty, this will be very difficult for me. But on the other hand, there is another question that is bothering me..."

"Shhh..." Revania interrupted.

"I heard from some servants you only eat a little. You'd better eat now after it's better. I'll be waiting for you in the royal garden. Today, I just happen to be very relaxed. Let us talk, Helena ." Said the Queen.

Of course, Helena obeyed the Queen's orders. She ate quite a lot that day, although she did so with a bit of compulsion. Not long after Helena finished her breakfast, Rima came with a woman beside her.

"Empress Helena," Rima said politely and bowed respectfully.

Helena immediately replied by bowing and saw Rima was frowning.

"Hmm... I forgot to teach you. You shouldn't bow in front of the maid." Rima said firmly, and Helena swallowed her saliva. Afraid of her own mistakes. Rima seemed to her like a strict teacher rather than a butler.

"Umm... I'm sorry." Helena said without realizing it, and Rima frowned even more.

"Hmmm... Alright, Empress Helena, I'll make a special schedule for you. But in the meantime, I've found a maidservant for you." Rima pointed at the woman beside her.

"My best regards to Empress Helena, please introduce my name is Harika. I will be responsible for all the needs of the Empress." Harika said, bowing respectfully.

Harika still looks very young. Her long hair is neatly tied up. Her dark eyes look droopy, making her demeanor look friendly.

The smile she gave also seemed graduated. The clothes she was wearing were red with black stripes. That is a special uniform for palace maids.

"Nice to meet you, Harika," Helena said too excitedly, and again Rima frowned at her.

***

Helena, along with Harika. They had already headed for the royal garden. Along their way to the royal garden, Harika told many stories.

Every empress had at least one palace maid. As for Queen Revania, she must be accompanied by the butler and two additional servants.

Queen Revania is sitting facing the artificial fountain that looks beautiful. The air looked cool even though it was getting noon.

A pair of chairs separated by a large round table, which is made of marble.

On it was a shisha, and Revania was enjoying her shisha. A thin puff of smoke appeared as she exhaled easily, then glanced at Helena who had just arrived.

"My best regards to Queen Revania," Helena said, bowing respectfully. She is crossing one arm over her chest.

Meanwhile, Harika the servant immediately kneeled, indicating the difference in rank and caste. What if a maid had to pay homage to Queen Aarez.

"Have a seat, Helena. You look much better already. And you?" Revania's gaze turned towards Harika.

"Please, leave us alone! You can meet Rima. There are some things you have to do with her." Revania orders firmly.

"Yes, Queen Revania," Harika said, she did not immediately straighten her body.

Harika had to keep bowing while walking backward after a few steps back. Then Harika turned around and walked away from Revania and Helena.

"Would you like to give it a try? This thing will calm you down." Revania said, offering the shisha on the table.

"Please, this won't kill you. You should try it, Empress Helena." Revania said with a stunning smile.

"I... Ahh ... Fine, Your Queen Majesty." Helena felt it would be rude if she refused Queen Aarez's request.

With hesitation and carefully, Helena took the shisha. Actually, she didn't know how to use shisha, and stupidly Helena took a sip too fast.

"Huk... Huk... Huk..." Helena suddenly coughed loudly, her face immediately turning bright red.

Revania got up from her seat and immediately approached Helena.

"Oh... you really haven't tried it yet, Helena?" Revania took a glass of water and gave it to Helena.

"Huk ... Huk ... I'm sorry, Queen Revania. I've never tried anything like this," Helena said. Then she took a quick sip of her drink.

Helena took a deep breath. She thought the Shisha taste was too thick and strange in her mouth.

"Are you feeling better?" Revania asked and sat back down.

"I'm better now, Queen Revania. Once again, forgive me regarding my carelessness and stupidity." Helena looked down in shame.

"You're not stupid. You're a smart and intelligent woman. You're just too innocent, Helena." Revania smiled again, and again she took a sip of Shishas.

A lot of puffs quickly appeared and floated in the air.

"Is there anything you want to ask me, Helena?" Revania turned to Helena. Her blue eyes, which were as beautiful as Helena's, looked on with meaning.
