Chapter 3: CHAPTER 3
She rummage through her wardrobe, picking out different outfit and throwing it on her bed.Finally, she decided to put on a black gown with a silver heels. She hurriedly put on her dress, carried her handbag and dahed out of the house locking the door behind her. She raced down the street and boarded a taxi. She reached her destination and payed the taxi man and ran into the building and greeted some of her colleagues she ran into.
She stood in front of the elevator, tapping her foot on the floor, waiting impatiently for the door to open and checked her wrist watch, it was almost 3pm, she had spent more than an hour, when her boss asked them to meet up about thirty minutes ago.The elevator door slide open and three women walked out, she greeted them and got into the elevator hurriedly and pressed the digit of the floor she was going and there was a swoosh movement and the elevator began to go up. She has been working as CEO Dan's secretary, owner of Adams choice, for seven years and secretly, she had develop feelings for him. She arrived at the tenth floor where the CEO's office is located and rushed out of the elevator. With trembling legs, she walked towards the door and knocked on it
"come in" a deep voice said from inside and she gulped down her spit. Slowly, she turned the door knob and walked in. He was standing by the window, his back turned against her, he had his hands in his pocket and his short black curlyhair, was neatly combed to the back
"Good afternoon sir" she greeted and bowed her head slightly.
"I asked if you could make it, so that I would know what time to fix the meeting, it is 3pm already" he said angrily, without turning to face her.
"am very sorry sir, a theif broke into my house"
"what" he exclaimed and turned away from the window to face her. The anger had died away from his face and was now replaced with a worried look.
"are you okay?" he asked
"yes" she replied and smiled inwardly. She loves it when he asks her if she was okay or if she had eaten.
"then let's leave for the meeting, it is important we meet them today"
"okay" she replied and walked up to him. She moved closer to him, leaving an inch of space between them and she helped him button up the two upper buttons of his t-shirt, that was left opened, revealing his hard muscled chest. She picked up his tie from the table and help him knot it. She could feel her heart beating fast as she dressed him up properly. Done with helping him knot his tie, she helped him put on his suit and stepped back and admired him, his broad shoulders, his beautiful lips and handsome face, every single feature of him, including his dark eyes, makes her go nut. She hasn't seen any man as handsome as him, except from that man that broke into her house and kept saying you summoned my why, he had even seen her half naked. She quickly brush away the thought, not wanting to spoil her mood, not when she is going for an important meeting.
He picked up his suit case and asked, "was the theif caught?"
"yes, he is in the police custody"
"that is good to hear, shall we" he said and they left the office, for their meeting with their clients.
